[Private rp... don't TOUCH unless you are me or Ac!d]

"You should have seen it! It was huge!" the shouting of a small man could be heard in the pit that was known as Gorak's Bar. The crowd that had gathered around him stared in disbelief, the man holding a trophy from his kill.... or something along those lines.... a tooth that took up almost the entirety of the table. "Yeah! And it had 3 eyes! 6 wings! and a set of jaws like no other!" The crowd mumbled in amazement of the slaying of the foul beast... but one man ignored him.... obviously the smaller man did not like this.

"Hey you! Come join the party!" The man had some kind of neon lining on his robe, covering his gloves, his hood.... hiding his face. He spoke quietly, "I do not care for your ill gotten gains...." he said dryly. "What do you mean ill gotten!?" Shouted the short and now angry man. The hidden man responded, "... You stole it from another... I saw you do it as I was traveling in the mines..... I do not know the other man... but I suggest you find him and return it now..." he said. The short man quickly showed he was at wit's end, "You... You bastard!" he shouted, "Nobody insults Iko like that and gets away with it... Get him Koka!" another rather large man stepped out from behind him, speaking in a rather unintellegent voice, he responded, "You got it boss!" he said, cracking his knuckles and walking foward. The hidden man did not respond, but whispered something to himself. "There is a purpose greater than you in this world..."

[sorry... i have to go for now... T_T...... twas kicked off...]

A young girl of about 16 years stood in the town square wrapped in a black pea-coat. She shivered in the cold and sighed, her misty breath swirling up into the night. Her chestnut hair whipped at her face as the wind blew. Her hands shoved in her pockets she looked around for a place to keep warm. Most of the shops had closed and only the lights of the streetlamps shone. The sound of talk drifted to her on the wind from a nearby pub. It seemed inviting enough since she only planned on stopping for a moment or two.
She stepped inside and wiped the mud off of her boots which seemed to match her tight fitting black jeans more than the pea-coat. Within seconds of stepping inside she heard shouts from one end of the bar. Upon realizing they were not directed at her, she sat down at a table, took her hands out of her pockets and began to rub them together for warmth. The shouting at the end of the bar continued and she turned her head to watch the argument.

The cloaked man looked up at the large man, a fist quickly barreling down upon his face, he dodged it quickly to the left, noticing a little girl in the bar as he turned to see another fist, He ducked this one, using his agility to his advantage and unloading his own fist into the man's stomach, causing him to only be pushed back, "So... you are quick... but you lack strength...." said the large man as he echoed a deep and rumbling laugh. "This should be rather easy..." his fist suddenly glowed a blue color, causing him to move quicker, charging forward... but this time he caught the fist.

The large man panicked quickly, backing up, but this time the cloak did not let go, the gauntlet was cracking under his force, and a blue glow could be seen coming out of the cloak. The cloak flashed brightly, the man's gauntlets turning into dust, along with most of the armor he had been wearing, "Pitiful..." he dusted his hands of the rubble from the gauntlets, walking around the large man as he stood in pure shock, eventually running out of the bar, noting he was naked.

The cloaked man sat down and sighed, closing his eyes as he turned to the little girl, "Someone of your age should not be in a bar of this quality..." he said softly, his eyes barely shown through the cloak... glowing blue.... as his eyes were now shown to be a natural blue color.

"Someone of my age...," she repeated turning her gaze upon him. "And how should you know anything of my age? And as for the quality of this bar...," she muttered, her piercing green eyes sweeping around the room. She had begun to grow warm and took off her coat. Underneathe she wore a tight-fitting green top which, along with her black jeans and boots, gave the impression that she was not to be messed with. Her small stature and thin figure argued otherwise. A pair of delicate wings unfolded from her back. They were sore from being folded underneathe her coat all day. She carelessly exposed them, having confidence that no human could see them. She had turned away without seeing the abnormality of the fight that had taken place a few moments before. She emerged from her thoughts and finished, "it's people like you, the people who pick fights, who are responsible for the...horrid quality of this bar". She could hardly see his face beneathe the cloak, but stared immensly into the darkness for any sign of a reaction. After a moment without any sign she glanced around the bar again silently smiling when she realized that her presence had drastically lightened the atmosphere.

"People like me? You seemed to have missed the bulk of the fight.... where I was stating the obvious fact that the man was a thief...." he paused, "Or at least.... his Leader if you would call him so..." he paused. "And I just assumed.... you appear young from this angle.... if I am so mistaken i am sorry in advance..." he said softly, "It is just that a bar does not seem so warm a place to spend time..." he viewed her wings, but decided not to mention anything about how they fit her.... she did look beautiful.... although the form fitting suit was a bit distracting, he kept his head clear, knowing not to look below the neck, keeping eye contact.

"Was it any business of yours whether or not he stole it," she asked seeming only half interested. Her journey had taken quite a lot of energy out of her, but she continued, "If you must know, I am only sixteen and according to the law I am not technically allowed in a place like this, however, I do not think anyone here will be throwing me out. This brings me to the reason that I am here. Warm was the key word in your statement because I only came for warmth. It is quite chilly outside and I have been out in it all day". She sighed and looked down at her hands in her lap realizing that she would soon need a place to rest for the night and that would be even more draining.

"He was a thief who took credit for a kill he did not cause..... that was all.... I saw the thing.... it did not take much mental process for me to know what the man was thinking..." he paused, turning a bit forward. He nodded to her words, "... Okay.... I was just wondering.... I've caught a few children attempting to get in here for a drink... even though they were underage...." he paused, sighing and looking upward, "... Miss..... you cannot stay here all night.... and it doesn't look like you know the area very well... so..... tell me if you need the help.... alright.... and don't hesitate.... money is no object..." he said, saying as though it was a natural thing for him to do.... no change in emotion in his voice.

Suddenly her expression hardened and she asked suspiciously, "and why should I trust you. You do not even know my name and I do not know yours." She fell silent obviously not wanting to be the first to willingly give her name. She was keeping it hidden like some precious jewel that only the worthy should view. After a moment of silence she said, "what do you want from me". She was used to being used and it had made her suspicious and sneaky. She hated when she needed to be this way because it was so against her nature to be so. Suddenly coming to the realization that she had no reason to suspect him except for his unusual strength she grew red and said apologetically, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to sound so rude. If you can find a place for me to stay I'd be more than grateful". She smiled at him and the small glow around her flickered from her hesitance.

He looked over at her as she reacted so harshly, he waited for her to respond, and ended with a smile. "It is no problem.... I understand when the shady stranger comes out of nowhere and greets you.... don't worry about it..." he paused, fishing around in his pocket for a moment before pulling out a small coin, "Take this to the Ogoloth Inn..... tell them Clearwater sent you.... my code name..." he said, "they will offer you a warm bed... alright...." he said, finally placing his hand on his hood and exposing his face. He had a warm smile, unlike the darker figure he had shown earlier, but his eyes were an odd, blue color, glowing slighty as the tatoo of two black ink, stains encircled his eyes, in the middle of his head was a japanese symbol, but it was blurry and hard to see at the moment.

She found herself pleasantly surprsed by the warm smile hidden beneathe the cold menacing cloak. She graciously accepted the coin and stood up, putting on her coat and said, "thank you, I'd better be getting to bed". She began to walk towards the door, but turned on her heel and spoke to him once more. "I'm Camille by the way." She turned on her heel again and left the bar. She went to the inn and they gave her a room which contained a rather large bed and a few other pieces of furniture. After her long day of travel she removed her clothes and gladly stepped into the hot shower. After her shower she climbed into the bed and fell immediately to sleep.
In the morning the woke up to the sunlight streaming through the small window on the far wall of the room. She slowly opened her eyes, sat up, and yawned. She stretched her arms above her head and, being extremely flexible, folded her body in half and touched her toes. She was surprised when her legs did not ache from the previous day's journey.

By the time she had left, Clearwater had done the same, walking out of the bar and waving goodbye to the bar owner, stepping to his own house.

A soft yawn came out of the hotel room.... he decided he was too tired to make the long walk, staying at the Ogolooth Inn along with her, staying in the floor below hers. He woke up, took a shower, a long one as he usually did.... letting the thoughts run through his head like the heat of the water running through his short, blue hair. He sighed, stepping out with the familiar cloak covering him up, the clerk stopped him, striking a conversation with him as usual when he passed through.

Camille got up and got dressed in her favorite short black leather skirt and a long sleeved, deep purple shirt with sleeves that flared. Her clothing was tight fitting as usual. It made flying easier when she felt the need to fly which wasn't often, but it never hurts to be prepared. She also put on the black combat type boots she had worm the previous day. Even if the humans could see my wings they wouldn't believe that I'm a fairy. As she walked through the lobby that morning she spotted Clearwater wearing his usual cloak. He was talking to a clerk so she hung back until he had finished. As he began to walk away she tapped him on the shoulder and smiled at him. The upbeat spirit she had brought to the somewhat dreary lobby was evident and she glowed for no one to see, or so she thought.

Clearwater turned around toward the tap upon the shoulder he had received, "Ah... Camille... I see we were staying at the same hotel..." he said, removing the cloak to once again expose his friendly face. "I see that we caught each other before I left.... I suspect that your rest here was pleasant?"

"Very," she said and then laughed lightly. "Are you alright? You seem...distracted by something. You do remember being the one who told me to come here do you not?" She cocked her head to the side while she studied his face. She stood with her weight on her right leg. Her right arm hung at her side while her left hand was perched on her hip. Her stance gave the impression of confidence and a relaxed manner. She was not naturally tall, but the boots she wore added at least two inches, possibly more. She looked him directly in the eye and waited for a response.

"Of course i would remember.... I remembered your name... didn't I?" he said, a smile upon his face as he spoke. "I Just expected you to get up later than this.... you seemed very tired..... and the more tired you are.... the more likely you will sleep more..." he smiled yet again, looking into her eyes for a moment before speaking again, "Tell me.... Where do you have to go from here?"

"I am not certain. I was told to go to a shop called the Ilace. I'm to talk to the shop keeper. I do not yet know what business I will have there." The way she talked was not type of English normally spoken in that town and it was evident that she was not from nearby. Her wings fluttered as she spoke and glittered in the small bit of sunlight coming through the windows. "Do you happen to know where I might find said shop? I would very much appreciate it if you would point me in the right direction, or possibly accompany me." Something quite odd happened when she spoke the last few words. The glow around her grew almost in hopefulness and was tinted lavender although she didn't expect him to see it.

Clearwater paused, "Well.... It could lead me to my purpose..... and well.... I would not like you to be alone in this town.... so I would be happy to accompany you..." He said, nodding as he spoke, but he had noticed something unusual.... the glow around her seemed to change with that.... he tilted his head a bit, "I love the wings.... but.... why did the color of your glow change?"

Camille's eyes widened and she folded the wings delicately along her back. She might be able to shield her wings from view, but she colorful glow around her was still visible to him as it turned a deep pink like she was blushing. She looked at the floor suddenly and her hair fell in her face, shielding it from view although she was smiling underneath. "I...I didn't...I didn't know you could see them," she stuttered. "I...I thought you...I thought you were human. I'm sorry. It's just that..." her voice faded away and she didn't finish her sentence. She just stood there, her hands clasped in front of her. She looked up at him, her brown hair still fallen in her face. Her face along with her glow flushed deep pink and her wings fluttered slightly.

He shook his head, "No... I'm not human.... I'm.... Something else... really..." he paused, "But... That is another story..." he paused, seeing her blush for a moment, along with the pink glow, he know knew that the glowing suggested emotion... and it matched her face. He could not help but smile, walking up closer to her and placing a hand on her cheek, "Relax.... don't worry about it... you look cute with the wings.... not to mention the fact you are blushing," He teased.

His touch only made her blush more. She slowly unfolded her wings from her back and they fluttered slightly. She pushed the hair out of her face and took a step back from him. She cleared her throat and said, "I am ready to leave when you are". I can't stand here messing around with this guy. I have business to attend to. Although she found something intriguing about him, other than the fact that he wasn't human , she couldn't let herself be overcome with her emotions. She resumed her confident stance and her glow returned to it's usual dazzling white which cast a feeling of liveliness over everyone in the room. She glanced around knowingly. At least he hasn't noticed that, she thought to herself.

Clearwater covered his mouth as he couldn't help but laugh with her response, but he realized she has business to attend to, "Very well then.... We shall leave post haste...." he said softly, walking around her and toward the downstairs, "Come on.... lets go..." he said, turning toward her and smiling for a moment, "One thing you know about Ilace is that most of her customers do not speak English, so most likely the current shopkeeper doesn't speak it either, tell me if you have any problems understanding the shopkeeper... It just so happens I speak the common language that they do..."

She nodded as they began to walk in what Camille supposed was the direction of the shop she did not say much. She still began to mull over her embarrassment and, she hoped, without his noticing, continuously glanced over at him. She longed to know exactly what he was. He was not human, and he spoke a strange language. She didn't find any indication of his species in the tattoos nor in the way he dressed or conducted himself.
Her boots made quite a lot of noise as they walked and she attempted to pick up her feet more. She found the sound comforting at night when she was traveling, but it tended to be quite troublesome during the day. The ice from the previous evening was beginning to melt as the sun rose and she kicked broken pieces of ice as they went. She finally could not wait any longer to ask, "so...um...what exactly are you?".

Clearwater listened to the wording, he couldn't help but laugh at that, "What....? Quite an interesting way to put it.... but... I suppose I can tell you.... you sound trustworthy..." He sighed, "Humans..... in the early days.... Called us the Illuminators.... We refer to ourselves as the Luminarium.... It is our race.... our Occupation.... and there is very little of us left in this world... We often are paired with that of another race.... named the defenders of a certain person that are seen as important to the Luminarium..."

Camille walked in silence for a while, letting all he had said soak in. She had never heard of such a thing and if she had mistrusted him one bit she would have thought he was lying to her. Then it dawned on her, the reason he had been so kind to her. She looked up at him with excited wide eyes and asked, "am I the one you're supposed to take care of". She didn't know why that made her so happy especially since she had only just met him. The glow around her glowed lavender again and her wings fluttered and sparkled excitedly. She had lost much of her energy and personality during her journey the previous day, but it seemed to all return at once and she radiated happiness causing the flowers along the side of the rode to perk up and face her as if she were the sun. "Is that why you gave me a place to stay even though I am a stranger to you?"

Clearwater thought to himself for a moment, ".... I do not know... That is not decided.... but I have a good feeling it is you...." he said softly as he looked at her, noting they were getting closer to the shop. He laughed, seeing how excited she had gotten, "You seem a bit excited then I would have expected.... It seems you like my company... or something along those lines..."
