Setting:Very Distant Future in a world called Solaris.

Intro: (Intro is in Modern Time) A long time ago, in a very far away place, a young child is left in a cave. The parents have travelled far from their home for the Soul Bridge Ceremony. The young 3 year old is laid very far and deep into the cave, where his parents have left him crying in the darkness. The child doesn't recognise that this is a part of his life, a very important journey that he is about to embark on.

A small light moves around in front of the child's face, then another. Soon there are about 50 or so small lights floating through out the cave, he watches in wonder, stopping his cries. A creature lights a fire, blinking once, looking at the boy. The lights have turned out to be eyes, glowing eyes. One of the creatures walks up to him, flapping his wings, it's a dragon. He curls up next to the child, comforting him, mumbling soft words that only a mother would use to calm her child. The boy curls up next to the young dragon, closing his eyes and falling asleep before dawn breaks.

Characters:
Magis- A 13 year old boy with one big imagination. He is soul connected with Nariko.
Jahzara- A dragon who is very much full of herself. She's a pampered princess and doesn't like to get close to anyone except Kaelin.

Characers:

Kaelin - A 15 year old boy who has been forced to grow up too quickly, which makes him very serious almost all the time. He's an apprentice to Mathilda , a very popular and powerful sorceress. He is soul connected with Jahzara.

Nariko - A very powerful dragon, with a bad temper. He's an elemental spirit, with most of his powers related to weather, lightning imparticular. Nariko is very protective of Magis, but not often truly kind to him.

Magis sat on a rock, gazing over the lake, playing with his long hair a bit, he was watching his soulmate, as they call them, grooming his wings and scales. "It's such a nice day. Wonderful for a ride. I mean, if you don't mind.."

Jahzara watched her soulmate, flapping her wings a little, letting the glitter douse them. "Kaelin, I need more glitter, I'm all out and by the time we get done today, it'll have blown off my wings anyhow." She nodded and flapped her wings once more and when she finally figured out that Kaelin was paying no attention to her, she huffed and stomped over to him, flapping her wings above his head so a lot of the glitter fell on him. "...and that's what you get."

Kaelin sits in the grass, not quite paying attention to the clouds he appears to me staring at. He's far too deep in thought, replaying the dream he had last night, the very same dream he's been having for years. If you could call it a dream, it was more like a nightmare.

He blinks, startled from his thoughts when the sun gets blocked out, by Jahzara who is clearly unhappy about being ignored. "I'm sorry. I was... thinking. What did you want?"
Kaelin moves, brushing away some of the glitter he's now covered in.

Nariko continues grooming his wings, and scales, as he has been doing for quite a while, seeing as he is rather fond of his appearance (much like jahzara). He turns his head, staring down at you from across the field. A ride? Well of course, I just spent all this time cleaning up to fly you into the clouds. I couldn't possibly have anything better to do. He turns his head back, to look up at the clouds. It is a good day. I suppose it couldn't hurt.

Magis grins and gets up, walking over to the dragon and smiles, climbing up, leaving a few muddy footprints up his side, nothing big though and smiles. "Good, I like spending time with you."

Jahzara watches him and blinks and sighs. "Nothing, it's fine.. we need to get you out of here, you're too cooped up and need some fresh air." She nodded slightly in his direction and smiled, nudging him with her muzzle. (I think that's the word I'm looking for xDD)

Kaelin turns to look up at you and bites his lip, thinking over the suggestion. "Yes.." He sighs and pulls himself to his feet, before brushing the grass from his clothes, not wanting to get you the slightest bit dirty, knowing how strongly you feel about looking perfect. "Fresh air would be good. Although I'm not sure how much more fresh air I can get. We are outside." He gestures around the open field, showing that they are indeed outside.

"Hmm.." He looks you over, brushing a little glitter off your muzzle, where too much has accumulated. "I think we'll need to pick up some more glitter. If you want, we can stop by the house and get what's left to use now." Kaelin pulls himself up onto your back, finding a comfortable spot where he can hold on well.

Nariko looks back, staring down at you, watching as you climb up, only lowering himself a tiny bit, making it harder for you to get up. Must you get me dirty? That doesnt seem necessary.. He busies himself with cleaning himself of those muddy footprints.

Yeah, yeah. Of course you do, who doesn't? Nariko moves, spreading out his wings, preparing to take off. Hold on kid.

Magis blinks and nods, wrapping his arms around your neck, closing his eyes, cause.. he doesn't like to keep them open during a flight. Even though, it's fun. xD He squeals as the dragon takes off, clutching him tighter around the neck, almost cutting off his airway by accident. "Slow downnnn!!"

Jahzara smiles, getting all exited now that you mentioned the glitter. "That's precisely what I was talking about while you were day dreaming." She pranced a bit, all giddy, high stepping and looked at you with a small, shrill, whinny like sound.

(she's a wanna be horse. xDD)

Kaelin smiles a little, moving slightly to get more comfortable. "I wasn't daydreaming. I was thinking. You should try it sometime." He blinks, watching you and smiles more, trying not to laugh. "Alright, alright, you silly horse. Lets go home then."

Kaelin moves, burrying his face against your neck, holding on tightly, but never too tight. "Well..if you could call it a home." He sighs, closing his eyes for a moment, but quickly opening them again as the memories, the nightmares, flood back. Pushes himself up, looking up at the clouds and back to you. "Lets go, now."

Nariko lets out a low laugh, even if it is an inward thought, and takes off, not giving you much time to prepare. He flys high, by no means going slow. He smirks when you freak, and take off faster, going higher. And once he's high enough, dropping rather quickly towards the ground, only stopping when your grip is seriously affecting his breathing.

Alright chicken, you're fine. I have to breathe. He glides down a little lower, and slows his pace. Still by no means slow, but a safe rate for now.

Speaking of chicken, I could do with a few chickens for dinner..

Magis squeaks a lil, letting go just a tad. "Sorry.. you know it.. kinda scares me", he nodded and held on to you, lighter.

She grinned and nodded, making a run, once you were on safely, flapped her wings, and took off, flying high above the ground. "Are you sure you're okay? You really seem out of it today." She kept flying, not exactly paying any kind of attention to where she was going. She really should have. xD

Kaelin holds onto you, having a firm grip, but fairly relaxed, definetly used to flying. He sighs, nods a little and shifts his position just slightly to get more comfortable. "Yeah, I'm sure. That dream's just starting to really get to me. I'll be fine."

Nariko slows down a little more and looks back at you, so he's not really paying attention either. [i]You do trust me, don't you? Even if you can be a pest, you should know I would never let anything harm you.[i]

He turns his head, just in time to see Jahzara before they collide and are both sent spiralling towards the ground.

Magis holds on to you tight, nodding opens his eyes for a sec and squeals. "Watch where you're..." and the dragons collide before he has a chance to finish his sentence. He's hurled off Nariko's back and slides down to his tail, hanging on, screaming, watching the ground come at the awfully fast.

Jahzara blinks, trying to slow down, colliding with Nariko. She turns her head and nips you in the back of the shirt, holding on to you that way so you don't end up falling off her, flapping her wings to slow down, accidently getting glitter in Nariko's eyes xD.

Kaelin goes wide eyed, definetly seeing the collision before it happens. Moves, burrying his face against your neck and clings, letting you grab ahold of him afterwards, knowing you would never let anything happen to him. And holding on, he's definetly more likely to lose his grip and fall.

Nariko falls quickly towards the ground, not having time to do anything to avoid hitting the ground. He moves, grabbing you the same way jahzara grabbed Kaelin, before he crashes, making sure he takes the blow and not you.

Magis squeaks and gets up, looking at you. "Nariko! Are you okay?" He checks you over, looking for any bumps, bruises, any bones sticking out of you and bites his lip.

Jahzara takes the blow as well, with a small "oof" sound, watching you and moves, nudging you with her muzzle, looking you over as well. "Kaelin, you're not hurt are you?" She checks you over carefully before moving her gaze to Nariko, blinks and blushes a lil. "Sorry, I.. wasn't watching where I was going."

Kaelin flinches when they hit the ground, even though he wasn't hurt at all. He moves, sitting up and blinks a little, watching you. He looks himself over, checking just to be sure and then shakes his head. "No..no I'm not hurt, I'm okay." Kaelin bites his lip and moves, checking you over aswell. "Are you alright though?"

Nariko lets out a grunt, letting you go and moves himself, getting up and looks back at the damage to his wings, thanks to the landing. I'm fine. Would have been nice to have a decent warning though. Are you? He looks you over once quickly, before entirely dismissing it.

Nariko turns his head, looking over at Jahzara, then at Kaelin, and back again. Of course. Maybe you should try paying attention next time. You could have gotten hurt.

Magis looks over and watches Kaelin, feeling himself blush gently. Looking from the female dragon to Kaelin. " I'm..uh, I'm great." He nods once, entirely focused on Kaelin.

Jahzara moves in front of Kaelin, a little protectively and smiles somewhat. "I'm terribly sorry, really I am." She nods at Kaelin. "I'm fine, didn't even break a claw." She smiles and nods, looking up at Nariko.

Kaelin nods, watching you. He pulls himself to his feet and brushes the dirt from his clothes. "Okay, good.." He bites his lip, looking up and frowns. "You should be more careful. Teach your dragon some navigational skills for goodness sake."

Nariko nods slightly and watches Kaelin. He lets out a warning growl at the boy, moving slightly infront of you aswell. Spoiled brat.

Kaelin rolls his eyes and stares at the dragon, clearly not detered at all. "I'm not scared of you." He turns his gaze to Magis. "Or here's a thought, keep your pet on his leash." He practically spits the words out, definetly meant to be venemous.

Magi blinks and watches you. "Excuse me?" He frowns. "Why don't you keep that ugly piece of crap on a leash." *folds his arms, deffinitely upset about you calling Nariko his "pet". "He's not a pet for your information. So watch your tongue you idiotic, moronic, stupid ass."

Jahzara snort and frowns. "I am not a piece of crap you twit." She glares at Nariko. "Keep your human under control. I'd hate for him to get barbequed." She smirks, all up on her high horse, looking at Kaelin. "You need to watch it too."

Kaelin blinks and scowls, inching forward, but stopping, looking up at Jahzara and squeaks. "Who's side are you on?" He frowns, looking aback at Magis and Nariko, and turns on his heel, stalking off. "I'll remember to call you ugly the next time I want your support." He mutters to himself.

Nariko growls again and watches Kaelin. Looks to Jahzara and growls again. I could say the same to you. He smirks, watching Kaelin leave, and looks back to you. Well, you'd better run along now.

Jahzara blinks and looks at you. "Well I'm sorry, I don't want fights to happen. Hey! Wait!!" She turns to Nariko. "Ya, ya, working on it." She hurries off past the trees, past a few bushes and into the forest. "You can't just walk away from me, I'm your protecter! I have to make sure you're okay you know." She follows you and when she realizes you're not going to talk to her, she moves, flapping her wings and flies in front of you. "Will you STOP ALREADY?! Good riddance."

Magis blinks a lil and watches them and looks at you and bites his lip. "You.. need to chill out.. as well as them. Sheesh, I thought you two were about to clobber each other there for a sec." He sighs softly. "Too bad I'll probably never see him again." He kicks dirt onto your scales by accident and whines a little. "Oops.. sorry.." He dusts you off a bit and looks around. "Uh.. do.. you know where we are Nariko?" He looks to you for an answer.

Kaelin continues walking, clearly very upset. He continues past the trees and the bushes, getting more worked up about everything. He blinks and looks up at you when you move infront of him and frowns. "No. I will not stop, you aren't the boss of me! If you don't want me around, leave! You wouldn't be the first person in my life to leave me."

Kaelin makes a turn, darting into the forest and running as far as he can get, until he trips on a tree root. He falls, landing in a heap. Swallowing hard, he pulls himself up after a moment and sits against the tree, hugging his knees. Kaelin reaches into his shirt, pulling out the picture of his parents from his inside pocket. He blinks back tears, looking it over and sighs, looking up just as you reach him.

"I miss them.." He looks back at the picture. "Maybe I shouldn't have chosen to pick a fight, like I did." Kaelin looks up at you past tears. "What if something had happened to you? I can't handle someone I care about leaving me again." Kalin drops the picture and gets up, hugging you around your neck tightly and burries his face into your scales, letting the tears fall now. "I need you, Jahzara. You know I do, but it's so much more than you understand. I'm afraid. Please..please don't leave me."

Kaelin looks up at you, blinking away tears as fast as they can fall. "I'll stop being so irrational. I'll do anything you want, just please. I'm trying my very hardest to keep you happy."

Nariko smirks, watching them stalk off. He turns his gaze back to you after a short while, looking directly down at you. I do not need to..to chill out. What does that even mean? I think your parents send you to school so you can sit there and look bored. He lets out a snort of disgust. I would have. But that would a serious waste of my time.

Nariko lets out a low growl, watching you as you cover him in dirt, although by accident. Thank you. Seriously, why do you care if you see him anyways? He's a spoiled brat, and his dragon appears to be a royal pain in the behind. Clumsy too.

He looks around, staring up at the sky, and then looking around the field they landed in. After a moment, Nariko pulls you onto his back. I don't know. I'm sure if we fly up though, we'll be able to see where we landed, and head back. I think there's just enough room for take-off. He puts you up on his back. Hold on tight. He spreads his wings and makes at a run, almost hitting a tree, but managing to get up.

Nariko flys straight into the clouds, only stopping once he's more than safely out of trees range. He looks arond, watching the sunset. Alright, it's that way. We should probably head home, it's getting dark.

She squeaks and follows you. "Ugh no, you can't go and I'm not leaving you." She follows you until you trip and sighs softly and wraps her wings around you in a sort of hug, biting her lip. "I never will, you know that, I couldn't live without you anyways.. remember if either of us leave the other, we'll die. You don't remember do you? This is also a curse, comes along with being connected. I miss them too hun.." She all of a sudden gets very sympathetic and holds on to you close, by her wings and watches you. "I have a duty to protect you though, so I refuse to leave."

Magis blinks and just about has a cow. "Yes you do, you need to chill the crap out, and it means calm the f*ck down." He frowns, now agitated because of that lil part about talking about his parents. "Now, seriously..." He gets cut off by Nariko taking off from the ground, he blinks. "But.. wait stop.." He squeals and grips tightly onto you when you fly up. "Would you stop? I want to make sure that guy is okay.. it was stupid and irrational and you need to appologize as well as I. I mean it." He moves and tries to get you to fly back down. "Either you fly, or I jump, take your pick."
