The New Age of Hyrule
A Fantasy vs Futuristic RolePlay

The whole world has been at war ever since the Triforce, the power of the very gods who had created the world, had been discovered by all many centuries ago. But in the war of nations, there was also evil, lurking in the shadows, patiently waiting for their chance to get the Triforce. Days turned to months and months turned to years, still no one had the Triforce in their possession, the evil villains couldn't wait any longer, so they decided to take advantage of the armies weak state and fight through. It seemed like an easy victory for the villains, but they were stopped by a group of heros who devoted themselves to protecting the Triforce so it could never be used for evil purposes. Try as they might, they couldn't burst through the hero's defenses and were defeated, their evil leader managed to escape and flee Hyrule. The heros knew he'd come back someday, so they never dropped their guard from then on, always on call to protect the Triforce.

As the years went by, technology advanced and grew, peace reigned and man prospered to recover the damage of the World War, it seemed like it would last forever. The heros who had protected the Triforce so many years ago have passed on, but their children and their children's children still protect it, in honor of their ancestors.
A dark day soon came to Hyrule, the evil leader had returned, along with his own group of villains to once again fight for the Triforce's infinite power, but they never attacked instantly, so its as if they weren't even there. Once again hiding in secrecy, they waited for their chance to get the Triforce, and the new heros never left Hyrule Castle, the current resting place of the Triforce.

Race: A Half-elf demon of darkness.
Origins: He was born from the darkness of Link's heart that was taken from Link by his creator, Ganondorf, who lives in the kingdom of Hyrule.
Personality: Evil, pure evil, he often partners up with people to get what hes after and then betray them to take it for himself, but he shows no sign of such a thing, so no one suspects him.
Looks:[Link disguise] [True Form] (Ignore the shield and sword colors, they're dark grey and black the way I'm trying to envision them)
History: Ganondorf, the king of evil, stole the darkness that was extracted from Link's heart when he was turned into the Hero of Time. The darkness morphed and grew into the form of Link, only he was the physical manifestation of darkness itself. He was a leader of a group of villains many years ago, but since he was defeated in battle, he had fled Hyrule and began his search for a new group of evil people who would want the Triforce's power like him. It took him many years, he never aged a day, thanks to him being made of darkness, but he has now finally returned, ready to fight to the death for the Triforce.
Weapons/Armor: He has all of his counterparts weapons, even his own version of the Master Sword, the blade that slayed his master, Ganondorf, except it is made from darkness.
Special Abilities: He can morph into any form he wishes, but he usually stays in his Dark Link form.
Weaknesses: He will be caused great pain if he is exposed to light, so he morphs into his deceased counterpart, Link, to survive in the daylight.

Character Name: Mynnius

Race: Creature of the Shadows
Origins: From the Shadow Realm
Personality: Mynnius is only out for his own wants and needs, he will use people to get what he wants and often times is known to turn people against each other in the worst of times. He is a nice man when he gets what he wants, but outside of that, he can be a real pain.

History: Mynnius was born in an unknown origin, but is rumored to come through Midna's world at the last time the gate had closed. Ever since then he has been traveling from town to town attempting to find information on powerful items and weapons. He had heard legends of the triforce, and now he has one mission in life, gain the power of the gods within his own hands.
Weapons/Armor: His shadow cloak provides excellent armor, the defense increases as he turns into a pure shadow form. His weapon is a rather thin 8 inch blade along with his own two hands when they turn into claws.
Special Abilities:
Shadow form - His entire body is encased in black, giving him an extra form of defense and a new form of attack, claws extend from where his hands once were.
Shadow Orb - He is able to attack from great distances with a black orb that launches out from his hands.
Burning Fist - A technique that calls upon the elemental spirit of Efreet to superheat his hands.
Weaknesses: Elemental spells of light and water.

LooksHistory: Agitha pretends to be a princess of the insect kingdom living in her own little castle house. She see Link as Her castels "night" She has lived in Castle town her whole life.

Character Name: Samantha Elizabeth Baker (goes by 'Sammie')

Origins: Castle Town
Personality: Polite and chivalrous, but at the same time.... She has a pretty short fuse.
Looks: Short, dark brown hair and ice blue eyes. She's around 5'4''
History: ((I'm not quite sure how to change her backstory to match the Legend of Zelda story and the history that you wrote...)) Her father was one of the original heroes that defended the triforce. He trained all of his children from a young age very well in case the villians would return, or... For just in case they got in trouble. Anyhow, Sammie had gone off with her twin brother to explore the world. Once they had returned from their journey, they found that their younger brother had become horribly ill. They searched everywhere they could think of to find a cure, but wherever they looked... No one knew what was wrong with the poor child. No one could help. It was after one such dissapointment that what Sammie thought was an angel appeared before her and offered to help.
Little known to Sammie, she had ended up in a contract with a demon. This demon's name is Armand. He tatooed her with a very powerful spell: She has eternal youth... What's more, she can't be killed. The perfect soldier.
One day, the demon Armand hears about the 'all powerful' triforce and said to Sammie, "What's a triforce? It sounds pretty stupid. Probably doesn't even exist. Go get it for me!"
Weapons/Armor: Two longswords at her waist, a claymore on her back, and a number of knives and daggers hidden on her person. She carries a bomb for just in case. Sammie wears Studded leather armor.
Special Abilities: She cannont die and regenerates crazy fast. Anything that happens to her body has to be okay'd by Armand... So, basically, her body has not changed one little bit since the time she had become his servant. (Say her hand is cut off, from right to left. The right side would have re-attatched by the time the blade has completed the cut... Something like that.)
Weaknesses: She's perfectly human, without Armand, she'd be really nothing special.... Save she's gotten very good with swords and acrobatics....
She must obey Armand, but she tends to at least try to be disobedient. Also, since Armand has her soul, say her head it cut off or she is stabbed right through the heart, she is brought back in Armand's lovely summer home which is currently hiding under the goron mines, concealed behind a lava flow.... (Meaning she has to walk through lava to get out....... Very quickly. Needless to say, Armand loves this form of torture.) She has a small, hidden room off to the side. past the lava flow, where she can get to her things without them ending up destroyed by Armand's shenanigans.

Origins: Sir Denrick hails from a town of no importance far from Hyrule
Personality: Sir Denrick Is a holy man. He is just and fair, and he has the qualities of a natural born leader.
He is also kind to others in all his dealings, and rather reserved at times. Although he can play 'tough guy' whenever needed, he is calm and controlled.
Looks: Sir Denrick is getting old, and it shows. Although well kept, his hair is greying. He sports a thin beard, always trimmed. He usually dresses in grey and blue colors.
History: Sir Denrick is a knight. He has been in and led many battles for his country. There was a great war that lasts for 15 years, and Sir Denrick was part of it the whole time. It was said by his fellow soldiers that he was unequaled in swordplay. Denrick was married before the war. He has a son, only a few months old. After being in the front lines for 15 years, he was sent home. But he was sent back a year and a half later, because of a shortage of men. And so he went to war again, to protect his wife and the sons he barely knew. While at the front he got a message, telling him of his families death. The town he lived in had been destroyed, and none survived. After the Sir Denrick washed his hands of his country and left. He recently settled down in Hyrule, where he leads a solitary life away from all the war and strife.
Weapons/Armor: Sir Denrick sports full plate mail and an arsenal of weaponry, swords, axes, bows, you name it, he has it.
Special Abilities: Sir Denrick is nearly unmatched in battle, but he is still just human after all. He is also an accomplished blacksmith, while his work is good, its nothing awesome.
Weaknesses: He is only human.

Character Name: Alexander Shade

Origins: Unknown
Personality: He is somewhat timid, but when something is really important that he wants to fight for, he abandon the shyness and becomes one of the bravest of human.
Looks: Long, shoulderblade length Brown hair. Peircing Yellow eyes(weird genes). A sort of Feminine body.
History: His family is a line of hunters. They hunt anything, from their own kind to the incomprehensible. He has yet to find his father, who might be dead. He has found on thing in his journey that might help him learn the truth, his fathers blade.
Weapons/Armor: His fathers blade, The Cursed Thorn. It is a blade that is enscribed with and ancient curse. When used, inflicts hundreds of thorn-patterned cuts. The Curse envelopes the user in thorned scars all across his body over time.(They start at the heart and go outward. So far he has them down to his belly-button and up to his shoulders.)
Special Abilities: Slaying techniques passed on through every young Shade. These techniques are very numurous and deadly.
Weaknesses: He is human, so as it goes; diseases, dehydration... you get the human weaknesses gist.
