As the title says these are poems with the ocean in them. I hope that you all enjoy.

Ocean Melodies

Ocean melodies, a loving moment
Spray surf, seashores crescenting
Walking in the gray mist dawning
Hand in hand, searching

Collecting shells and sand dollars
For fun and future memories
Listening to the vibrant drumming
Surf pounding the sand

Delighting in the warm water
Washing our feet, caressing
Kissing to the sound of the sea
Ocean melodies, a loving moment


Ocean Comets


Ocean comets and cherry blossoms
Streaming purple light,
Garden webs and chocolate gems,
Glowing in the night.

Winter wine and rivers wide
Flowing fire bright,
Magic moons and desert dunes
Glowing in the night.

Crystal globes and castle moats
Rippling blizzard white,
Crickets' songs and rivers long
Glowing in the night.

Dances slow, dreams I know
Meant to last the night,
Visions graced by your face
Glowing in my mind.


Night On The Beach

Once upon a moonlit night
we walked a lonely beach.
Stars twinklled high above
they seemed close enough to reach.

Arm in arm the mood was set,
gulls rested here and there.
We chatted for a little while
our talk light as air.

This moment would be priceless,
it would last throughout the years.
A quick exchange of, "I love you's"
washed away our hidden fears.

Water rippled in the moonlight,
soft sand beneath our feet.
What a time to hear, and so sincere,
an, " I love you," so sweet.

Two lovers in the night
hand in hand we stroll the beach.
Gazing up to see the stars
almost close enough to reach.



An Ocean Dream

Days go by
and nights fade away,
just thinking of you,
I dream of the day-

When we'll be together,
walking along the ocean shores,
the breeze blowing through my hair,
my hand held tightly in yours.

Our feet in the sand,
the stars shining bright,
the moon leading our way,
to the perfect night.

I had you for a week,
but that wasn't enough,
I miss being in your arms,
I miss the feel of you touch.

Dreams have held me over
for just a little while,
but I need to see your face again,
I miss that beautiful smile.



On The Beach

Sitting on the beach
Staring out at sea
The memories of you
Come flooding back to me

We used to go on midnight strolls
Underneath the stars so bright
I always thought that you and me
Together were just right

But now I'm strolling on my own
And you are far away
But I'm still thinking of you my love
Through each and every day



The Sent Of The Ocean


She closes her eyes on
A warm summer's eve
And lifting her face feels
The coolness of a cleansing breeze

As the sweet melody of the ocean
Plays softly in her ears
She hums to its tune
But tastes the loneliness of her tears

While the sun kisses her face
She smiles to her dreams
Reaching out she touches
Where her heart yearns to be

The face of an angel,
The song of a bird,
The delicacy of life,
The feel of the breeze,
The sent of the ocean...

When I close my eyes
And think of you
All of these things
You bring to me

These all paint a beautiful picture in my mind! They are very pleasant to read. I think my favorite would have to be Ocean Comets. Its a very mystical poem. :D

Thank you for you comments. Ocean Comets is one of my favorites too. Of course it is really hard for me to pick a favorite, especially since at last count I had written over 150 poems.

My favorites are Ocean Comets and the Scent of the Ocean. They're all really lovely though. I love the ocean!
