i've never had a problem getting anything on paper, my imagination is quite sufficient xD

but my problem is anatomy, and i've tried to improve it...alot.
i have help-books, i took special courses for it when i was in art class and i regularly practise with live models.

Yet my anatomy remains off at certain aspects >>

especially hands and the face/neck area are my worries, so i usually try to make poses where the hands are not seen or the neck is hidden behind clothing etc.

but i don't want to do that forever! D:

does anyone here have the same problem or even better a solution?

i'll post one of my drawings here, any critique/advice is helpful ;3

i'm afraid it might stretch so i'll just post the link to it.

All I can saw is that you just need more practice.

You say you do mostly poses where the hands, feet and neck are covered; don't do that anymore! FORCE yourself to draw those more often, and, eventually, you will get better at drawing them.

Ah, anatomy is a very tricky thing indeed. I also have trouble with some details (fingers and feet especially). But this is how I help myself improve;
Well, practice makes perfect, that is probably one of the most biggest rules. Another thing I did was look at anatomy refrences so I can get a good look at how the female or male anatomy looks like. Another thing that helps me is a skeletal system. I use simple shapes and lines to help me get a "blue print" of what my character should look like (and it helped me out a lot with anatomy). The only thing you need to worry about is getting making the body proportioned (I always draw my heads bigger than the body, for some odd reason).
Hopefully some of these might help you or maybe get you a head's start. ^^;

i'll try to force myself then xD

thing is i already have books with female/male anatmoies but they don't help at all...

but i think it's best to keep practising and maybe instead of drawing full-bodies i should focus on drawing hands/head-neck areas to improve them.

thnx for replying all of you ;3

and thnx maka <3

I think that it is pretty good, but you really need to practise more.:)

draw draw draw draw a lot and draw a little bit more. that's my advice.
and try drawing mostly form life or using photo references. do A LOT of real life quick sketches and studies. doodling without reference will just settle bad habits you have.
the more you draw and observe, the better and more detailed anatomy in your drawings becomes.

oh and one more thing - detail studies (hands, feet, head) aren't really better than studying the whole figure. if you focus on them olnly you might notice that you can draw those things well but they don't seem attached properly to the body.
the point of such studies is just practicing details when you don't have enough time/energy for a full body study.

I'm quite a fan of using skeletons like these (link)

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u...n/Skeleton.jpg

Just drawn them with mouse, so don't blame me ^^'
You've probably seen them before in some 'how to draw' books...
I use them almost every time I have to draw a special pose or so. They make the whole thing a lot easier, so try it ^^
- The skeleton at the right is for the drawing you linked
