Glad I'm not the only new one opening up a quest thread for their first outfit! I'm not quite as far as you in decided what exactly I want, but I'll be drifting through the stores shortly to figure out what pair of pants and shoes I'd like to complete the ensemble.

Mnemosyne: It was really hard to decide what sort of outfit I wanted to start with, but I just limited myself to items under 500 to start with and that helped narrow things down a lot. :D I like your avvie's purple clothes. I was very tempted by the legwarmers myself, but in the end I decided to go for some of those later.

The only reason why I really went with the leg warmers was because I couldn't really decide on any pants and I thought she looked silly with nothing but a jacket on so I gave her legs something to keep warm too. :sweat:

You can actually try using the MAC (MEnewshan Avatar Creator) in the 'Avatar Discussion' but I have to warn you that one, it can be outdated and two, it might cause some problems on your PC and might not run. >.<"

I heard about that. I decided not to download it for the first reason, and because I thought my computer might not handle it (she's getting on in age, poor thing). It helps that you can preview how items look in the shops though. That's a nice feature, and it helped me decide what items I wanted, even if I didn't know what they looked like on my specific avvie.

I love the leg-warmers here. I plan to get three different colors once I have enough moolah to do so. *wants leg-warmers in real life now*

Yeap, I'm glad Mene has that preview thing but if you do download the MAC you could just open up the folder with the pictures of items then you could do the layering on Paint. Though it could take awhile but that's how I did it at first since the MAC took a long time to load on my comp. Now somehow, it runs fine XD

Actually, everyone here has been really nice. The atmosphere is much better than Gaia.

Leg warmers remind me of horse feathers. Like Clydesdale feet. Is that weird? XD

Hahaha. The leg warmers do somewhat resemble the fluffy parts on a Clydesdale's feet. xD; I didn't even think of that until you said it, but it does match pretty well. Lol.

And yeah, the atmosphere is a LOT nicer here than on Gaia. It was very refreshing. I know that even know when I get on I barely meet anyone new because most people just don't want to talk to you if they don't already know you there. :/

Yeah, though if you go to the hang-out forum (where people make their own hangouts) and the quest forum, most of the people seem pretty nice to me. But everywhere else, it's an adventure in trying to find decent people and decent topics and it's not usually worth even trying to find either of those. That's why I don't hang out there much anymore, even though I do go back on occasion to change my avvie around. ^^
