Thousands of years ago in the most ancient of lands, the first great black magics were written upon a scroll. This magic was so powerful and uncontrollable that the sealed scroll was placed upon a royal pedestal, never to be read by anyone, for if someone managed to harness those magics, the world itself could be torn to shreds. Nothing could prepare the creatures of mother earth for the magnitude of the catastrophic events that could occur.
Throughout the many thousands of years that the scroll has existed, it's been passed unopened from Kingdom to Queendom and so forth many times. However, as time has progressed, numerous Kingdoms and groups of extremely skilled dark magicians have begun to crave the power that this scroll would present to them.
Currently, the Queen of Amyron, a Queendom in the mountains of Evylan, an Elven province, is close to passing away. She has requested her two finest warriors to deliver the scroll unharmed to the Iserian province and bestow it upon the King Luro, one of the kind and generous rulers bound to protect the scroll. However, these warriors will be confronted with many harsh obstacles and battles in their journey. Hundreds of people; assassins, magicians, even the unbound Kings themselves are out to kill them and retrieve this scroll.
There's just one question left to be asked. Who will prevail?
At dawn, Victor Phyros yawned and sat up from his feather-cot, rubbing the sleep from his icy blue eyes. The warm morning glow filled the small room, spilling in from large open windows. Standing up, the tall, pale man stretched, his skin shining a soft blue in the light. He shook out his hair, almost shoulder length and so close to black; only in the light did the deep blue tones come out to play.
When he finished stretching, Victor pulled on his wrinkled leather trousers and a rumpled cotton shirt before stepping out of the room and onto a low porch. Inhaling deeply, he smiled. The scent of the forest around their community in the morning was brilliant. His skin almost sparkled under the early morning glow. Victor exuded a strong aura of confidence and strength, but today inside, he was so nervous; his eyes reflected that. Having a seat on his little porch, Victor waited for someone to retrieve him for the queen.

Corwyn Terra made his way quickly up the path and towards Victor's dwelling, the underlying green tone of his brown skin nearly glowing in the morning sun, the deep, deep green color of his short hair coming out thanks to the same sun and his dark brown eyes sparkling with both excitement and nervousness. The elf wore a green cotton tunic and leather pants, both looking relatively tidy.
Corwyn stopped just before Victor, pausing for a moment with his hands on his knees to catch his breath. "Victor," he said upon catching his breath, "We're to head to the queen's place immediately."
((Sorry it took so long, and I hope I didn't assume too much. o_o; ))

(No, that's fine :))
Victor stood as he saw one of his fellow High Guard warriors scrambling down the path to his small home. As the man drew closer, he noticed it to be a good friend of his, Corwyn. He'd always enjoyed this guy's presence. Stepping off the porch, Victor patted Corwyn's shoulder with one of his large hands, speaking with his low, deep voice. "You catch your wind, I just woke up, and need to figure out where my shoes went." He chuckled and turned away, jogging up the steps and into the small abode.
Upon entering the house, he wandered into the kitchen and grabbed a flask that he blieved to contain brandy, and drained the last third of it's contents, enjoying the warmth and alertness it provided him. Scanning the room, Victor found half a loaf of bread, which he also took and tore pieces off with his teeth, chewing quickly as he moved back to his bedroom. His leather boots were resting awkwardly on a table, and he threw them on. ' Was I really that drunk last night..?' he wondered as he laced up the boots that he'd retrieved from the table. He couldn't remember placing them there; not at all. after securing his footwear, Victor strolled out and down the steps again, munching on his now quarter-loaf.

In the few minutes it had taken Victor to find his shoes and return outside, Corwyn had fully caught his wind and was ready to go- He'd, of course, wait for his friend, but he was anxious.
((Short reply is short and lame, I'm sorry. D: On my way out the door now, I'll try to elaborate when I get back. ))

Biting another chunk out of the loaf of bread and began to walk down the path. Outside, his hair appeared a deep cobalt blue in the sunlight, his skin tinted a slight periwinkle by the bright glow of the morning. "You look excited, comrade. Think Eliraya has something interesting for us to do?" Victor chuckled, shaking his head. "I bet it's just another messenger job. I'm sick of being sent all over the world to deliver tea party invitations."

Corwyn pulled a face, following Victor down the path, "I guess I'm just hoping that it won't be another messenger job, is all. We've had just been having so many of those lately, it's getting more then a little annoying."

Victor laughed. He quite agreed with that. "I feel the same, brother. There's nothing really honorable or valliant about delivering pieces of paper." He chuckled again. 'Hey, at least I don't need to worry about getting chicks,' he thought with a smirk to himself as they neared the palace.

Corwyn laughed as well, keeping an eye for pebbles and holes in the path that could cause either Victor or himself to trip or stumble. "Only too true,"

Victor did a cartwheel as they crossed the bridge, spinning his long limbs through the air as a human star. he landed gracefully and continued to walk along, upto the castle. As they passed by the ornamentally-clad guards and into the palace, Victor quietly greeted each of them.

Corwyn couldn't help but grin as his friend cartwheeled across the bridge and landed gracefully at the end of the move, greeting each of the guards with a friendly salute and quiet hello as they passed into the palace it's self.
((I'm sorry that I'm not being more helpful in terms of area around them and such. D: I really don't like trying to describe areas in roleplays I don't know, which is silly but it bugs me. >_<))
