here's a small list: Impressing people, periods, giving birth, and being more bullied by other girls publicly. Anything to add? haha, i got bored and started this.

I don't have anything else to add, but I'm sure there is sooo much more. But, guys do have their problems also. However, girls have it hard. This reminds me of a journal entry we had to do at school one time. The topic was: Who has it harder? Girls, or boys? Of course, 90% of the boys put boys. I don't know why.

I have to agree... Girls do have a harder life. My boyfriend actually once had the nerve to say girls had it easier... >_> I had to prove him wrong with that... Yes guys have their issues in life, I never said that they didn't... BUT girls have to deal with so much more then guys... and some guys can be incredibly insensitive about it sometimes. ((Sorry to you guys who are sensitive about it. That is not aimed at you. <3))

Uggh.. well.. I'm genderless, but I have a female bod
(for those who don't know about that stuff, gender is mental, but biological sex is what you have in your pants. if a boy honestly believes that he is a girl, then she can be a girl. using the pronouns for the gender they identify with is simply out of respect for them. personally, i will go by anything at all.)
But having that makes things kinda bad..
I have pressure put on me by girls at school, guys at school, heck even my own parents to wear "nice, girly clothes".
Not to mention my grandmother asking me, "How many children will you have?" "When are you going to have them?" "When are you going to get married?" "Have you met your future husband yet?" I'm SIXTEEN AND TOKOPHOBIC (afraid of childbirth/pregnancy) AND IM NOT EVEN FEMALE. BLEH.
Pressure to wear makeup, too. I don't wear much, usually just concealer and mascara.. And not very much mascara, at that! I know a lot about makeup, I just don't wear a lot.. and when I do, it's for a costume or something like that..
Having big boobs is something that society tells women they "need" to have.. I'm glad mine are small.
speaking of boobs.
THEY HUUUUURT.

I wouldn't be quick as to say anyone has it worse off. Boys can have their list of hardships as well. They have to meet expectations of what is perceived as "manly" or else they are shunned or called "gay". They're expected to have a good career and to be chivalrous towards women, and put up with them whining about how they got it so bad. Males put themselves on the line and usually are expected to ask women out if they like them. Lots of time it ends in dejection.
Girls, yes, have a hard time because we have to go through childbirth, have periods, etc. But no one is making you give birth. And if you genuinely want to have children, then it will be worth it. Many women find pregnancy to be the best time of their lives, because they get to experience the miracle of life. Men and women both have social problems, it's not like girls are the only ones bullied, or have expectations for people of their own gender.
Periods are annoying, yes. But there's not much you can do about it without intense hormonal therapy. Personally, after a few years, i got used to it and now see my period as a sign that I am healthy, not stressed, and balanced.
It's all how you look at things, and in my opinion, you can't say, "we have it harder" because in all, we face the same amount of problems, though they may be different.

Ok... I had to make a comment on this. ^^; What is it with people thinking that just because we're girls ((talking in reference to that you have a female body)) we have to have babies, marry guys, wear girly clothes, and make up? I am tokophobic too, I don't like wearing a lot of make up, just eye liner, and I like to mix up my clothes between girly and boyish. ((It's fun :D))
I think it's stupid that so many people expect girls to be a certain way... when so many aren't... =_= Not every girl likes the "girly" way of life... wasn't sure how else to put that. ^^; lol

I don't really think the two genders we currently accept are comparable when it comes to which has it easy/hard.

Really? I never thought either gender had it harder than the other. There are pros and cons to being either a girl or a boy, I think.

in my humble opinion, if the girls have life very difficult because even though there are women working as men and there is equality of gender, I think there are still many difficulties for working women because there are still thoughts of macho through, as that woman has to take care of the child or the woman must have children or noses of those things but the basics or sexist as dolls for girls and boys and Walloons consoles ..

I wouldn't say either gender truly has it 'harder' than the other. Life is what you make of it, if if you believe your gender is 'harder' to be, than it will be. Everything has pros and cons and not everyone will agree with everyone. It's just how it is, and you have to deal with it when it comes.
Although, I will admit, having boobs sucks. xD;

Okay both genders have it rough, but oh well. I'll make a list of the bad stuff for both genders.
Girls
The Illness (Period)
Cramps
Pregnancy
Moods swings
Boobs (some girls would say they suck)
Giving Birth
etc.
Boys
Getting kicked where it hurts
Dealing with girls when they aren't in the best of moods
(can't think of anything else)
But life sucks so get over it. But what Haguruma said "Life is what you make it" YOU should make every last second on this earth count no matter what gender you are.

Here are some other things.
Women get paid less than men just for being women.
Expected to have perfect bodies.
Supposed to be "thin"
Married by 35 and having at least one kid.
"sense of fashion"
Women's suits.

I concur.
Girls and guys both have a lot of the same pressure. Girls are pressured to have large breasts and a lot of guys are self-conscious about their...manhood... Both genders are pressured about sex--which I think is weird because if a guy has sex with a lot of girls he's a player, but if a girl has sex with a lot of guys she's slut? (duh fuh?)--anywho, the point is that we both have to go through a lot of changes and peer pressure.
So I don't think being either gender is easier. Of course, I'm happy with being female because I like female fashion better. ;]

Being female is awesome
I may get paid less for the same work I do in the future when I have an actual career and not be as eligible for high-level jobs, but men pay for everything for me. & I get to boss men around without gaining a negative reputation like "womanizer" or "misogynist"

Uhh, I totally disagree, girls might have it "harder" naturally, but as much as some women camplain about things that are natural I mine as well have it, some women complain so much I want to walk outside and drowned myself with our waterhose
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE women :D

By going out of your way to gain reaction from them you are merely showing them that you do care what they think. D:

You can add there things like: the pressure for being tough all the time, being called gay if u speak about how u feel, the thing that you always have prove something, and military service (at least where i live it's compulsory).
but yeah, maybe life's harder for girls, but really you dont have to give birth if you dont want to haha, i mean you can always adopt a baby.

I think we just need to remember that were all human, and even though gender does separate us in differences, we are mostly the same. People need to stop looking at the differences between men and women, and look at what we've got in common. :3
