With every new star that has appeared, there have been linked to the appearance contractors: a new race of humans with super abilities.

However, along with those abilities comes a price...


Story and Setting

This roleplay takes place in Tokyo during the first season when any knowledge of contractors has been kept from reaching the public.

Rules

Pretty cut and dry, but just keep these in mind when you post:

Follow Menewsha's Rules: Please avoid going beyond PG-13 appropriateness (meaning sex and extreme graphic violence isn't allowed). If it's not allowed in the rules, it's not allowed here.

No Mary-Sues/Gary-Stus or God-Modding: If you are roleplaying an original character please refraining from making them 'the perfect character'. Also, do not make your character invincible or stronger than everyone else.

Multiple characters: You are more than welcome to roleplay up to four characters (this applies with both canon and non-canon characters). If you want to have more, please discuss this with me via PM.

PM your character's profile to me: I will message you back letting you know that you have been accepted in the RP. Also, your profile will be posted along with everyone's on the character post on the first page.

Stay active: If you will be gone for a while, please let me know. If you've become inactive and roleplaying a canon character that someone else wishes to play, I will remove you from the character list.

Literacy: Avoid using chat-speak during the RP. Posts do not have to be lengthy but please keep in mind that this is a lit/semi-lit roleplay.

Be Respectful: Please be respectful to other roleplayers in this thread. If you are caught causing unnecessary drama amongst other roleplayers you will be given a warning (any further drama will result in you being asked to leave).

Characters

Username: Pretty straight forward.

Character: Your character's name goes here. :D

Age: Self-explanatory.

Human, contractor, moratorium, doll, or regressor/forfeiter?: If you don't know/don't remember what contractor/moratorium/regressor means, don't hesitate to ask.

Power and remuneration: If your character is a contractor, what is their power and what is the price for using their abilities?

Affiliation: Is your character affiliated with any organization such as the Syndicate, MI6, The Evening Primrose, etc.

Description: Describe your character's personality as well as their physical qualities. You can link a picture instead of describing the character's looks.

Background/History: To help people understand your character better, give us a brief summary of your character.

Power and remuneration: Air Manipulation. His price is that he regresses to a child-like state after use. He's gotten good enough that he can often times hold off paying until he's somewhere safe, but by then, he'll do rather... embarrassing things. Often times, in his child like state, he starts singing songs and drawing interesting pictures with chalk.
Affiliation: He's worked with MI6 on several occasions (it works well when you're European) but was never really considered a member of the team.
Description: Rujiel is a slim boy standing at a measly 5'3". He has brown, mousy hair cut to his shoulders and steel blue eyes he hides behind his glasses that he is constantly pushing up. There are various scars across his body, but the most worrisome are the ones on his back and left shoulder that he rubs when he feels distressed. Normally, he wears shorts, suspenders, worn boots and a shirt covered by a jean jacket. There's always a cross around his neck.
Rujiel is a contractor and, by definition, Rujiel shouldn't be able to feel either. He displays a happy facade, always smiling and laughing to blend in with his surroundings. He plays the idiot card often to keep the suspicion off of himself. He's not that manipulative, no, but he is very charismatic and charming when he finds need to be so.
Child!Rujiel prefers to be called Ramunas (more than likely, this childhood persona has full access to the memories Rujiel has suppressed) and seems to know what his situation is like. He knows how much time has passed between him "showing up," knows what happened to the body he shares (while Rujiel has no recollection of what he did while under the power of his payment), and keeps a fairly accurate clock. If someone he had met several years ago are around, he'd remember them. Ramunas can also use Rujiel's contract, but without the payment issues. Ramunas was able to stay "out" for about a day at the longest, much to Rujiel's horror when he found himself in downtown San Antonio with no knowledge of how he got there.
Background/History: Rujiel hails from Lithuania in Eastern Europe. There isn't much to tell about him though - one day, he was still Ramunas and the next, he suddenly wasn't. During the incident involving Heaven's Gate, his whole community was overrun by the government (but not necessarily Lithuania's) and many people, Ramunas included, were taken captive for experimentation. Rujiel doesn't have much memories of that time but, really, he doesn't have much memories of anything. While in the facility, he gained a contract, presumably to help someone that, in the end, was killed anyways. There might have been an explosion, there might not have but soon after he gained his contract, Rujiel left his homeland to work for whoever would hire him.
