So far, I like this place a little better. It's just being new is that hardest part 'cause you don't know anybody! lol. I mostly just play games or hang out in Role playing threads because I love to write. ^_^

I do hope that you enjoy yourself! Menewsha is a wonderful place to hangout and make friends. You can never have too many places to hang out I say. (Though I myself keep to Mene mostly)

Why don't you introduce yourself some to share your interests? It's a quick way to find someone to talk to!

Aww. Gee.

I've been hanging around here, trying to get to know people and so far it's pretty fun. I don't make friends easy in realy life, but hey. Whatever works right? ^_^

Well, I'm usually a pretty friendly person, as long as you show that you're human anyway. Hell, you could be a cat really, (I have one I saved! ^_^ I love her. ) but as long as you show me that you're willing to compromise with my headstrong personality, We're all good.

I'm a double Major at my University, both in ARt and PSYCHOLOGY. I am also taking a minor in CRIMINL JUSTICE. I haven't decided on my art concentration though, so I paln on broadening my horizon by taking what I can.

I also write. I have two (unpublished) books, only one of which is finished and in the process of being editied. I don't have enough money to get 'em published quite yet! ^_^

I'd like to do art and psychology too! I can't yet decide what I want for life though ;~;
I was reading about Jung recently, he is amazing, the spiritual psyche side of psychology interests me lots, and you probably think the same judging by some of your interests? ♥

I know what it's like not making friends easily in real life, I'm the same. All my friends are actually on Menewsha, as sad as that may seem but at least I get to speak with people anyhow. :XP It works and I'm rather happy with it so it's no problem for me.

I'm fairly certain I'm human, it would be a shocker to me if I were a robot especially with my bout with kidney stones.. I don't think robots get those. :XP Aw kitty.. I have three cats of my own, and three ferrets. They don't entirely get along (ferrets and Cats), ferrets think the cats are there to play with and chase... two of three cats are scared of them and the third tries to herd them back into their cage when they're out.

I'd taken Psychology in Highschool (one of which also was a university one course) and loved it, I was considering going into the Criminal Justice track myself but then did a u-turn and am going into Veterinary technology to become a Vet Technician since they work with animals more than the veterinarians.

Ooh, what do you write? Genre wise?

I can't decide either, so I just went ahead and decided to take both. ♥ I can use them for art therapy anyway, which is a good thing for me to try to get into. I also planed on doing Criminal profiling so I can have a backup. ^_^

I actually haven't gotten much into my courses yet, but I think I am definitely going to look up Jung's work now. I am definitely interested! ♥ and yes.

I think I have a total of like 2 or 3 friends in real life, and the others I have are all scattered around the cyber world. One of my best friends is actually someone that I met on Gaia. lol. He's been a major help for me.It's nice to have real friends though, when you get bored sometimes it's nice to have a live person to go somewhere with. ^_^ My favorite thing to do is go to the park, bookstore or just go people watching. Not many people like to do that kinds of stuff. XP

Ferrets are awesome. I would not personally want to have one, but I love playing with them. My thing is cats. I found mine lying in the middle of a busy highway and begged my parents to let me keep her. I stopped the car and ran into the road to pick her up. She was so tiny, and if she would have been out there for a few more days, she probably would have died. I think she saved me just as much as I did her sometimes.

I tend to write more in the fantasy type stuffs. One book is a Romance fantasy novella, the other one is a modern day combination of Romeo and Juliet and Dante's inferno. I plan on posting the chapters in my Blog/ journal whatever it's called (XD) and then getting a few tips on editing and stuff. I don't blend well with the modern world sometimes when it comes to books. They have to have some sort of Magic, devils or whatnot in them before I get interested. ^_^

I wouldn't mind having a few in real life.. it's just that I have mostly only acquaintances who won't invite me anywhere because I'm way too shy to keep up a conversation in life. I generally go walking around by myself, head to the book store I work at to look through books or just sit around on computer.

They're fun pets to have, and very adorable. I love them lots. My fave though is my albino, he has an awesome personality, the others I love just as much of course, but he's much more playful.

I hate hearing tales of where people just throw cats/dogs away like that.. It's so cruel.. but it's nice to hear there's other people like myself who'll save them. I live in an apartment and for the longest time there were strays around the area, I'd set food and that on my balcony (live on first floor) for them and would take them in nurse them to health and find homes for them.

I'll keep an eye on your blog then! You've caught my interest.

Same here. The friends that I do have don't seem to mind, though it is hard to meet new people when it it's hard to even say hello! XP That's probably one reason that I don't have a boyfriend, or I can't find one because I am so shy. Oh well. I'll live for now.

I agree. My best friend got a little baby girl one, and she was so cute, and very fun to play with. She wasn't very amiable at first, but I don't think that many are at first. IT takes animals and people a while to open up if they've been thrown into brand-new situations.

I do too. That's actually one reason that I wanted to take my Criminal justice classes so I can work for SPCA and catch people like that. If there were animals around where I lived that I knew weren't being taken care of, I would at least leave them a little food. If they were really sick, I would try to find them a way to get better. I just don't understand how people could throw a living, breathing thing that is totally dependent on you into the street. To me, it's like throwing a child away.

I also love to Role-play and that's actually where some of my ideas tend to stem from for my books. If I find something that I like, I usually run with it for a while to see if I can turn it into a larger story of my own.

Ah yeah, I also have no boyfriend for that very reason. I just stare at boys who I find cute from a distance. XD Doesn't help my situation.. but at least I get to look. :lol:

Yeah, ferrets aren't apt to getting used to new situations great. One of mine still bites hard enough to bleed.. well everyone but myself... I trained her not to bite.. but she refuses to carry that training to others.. so I don't bring her anywhere.

Well it's a good reason to get into such a career. I'm going into veterinary technician because I want to help care for sick animals and get them better.

Roleplaying is a great way for getting ideas. I write myself.. but right now I'm restricted to fanfiction as I force myself out of writer's block. >.<

I definitely hear you on that one. I tend to stare and admire the men I take a liking to from afar. To me, they're eye-candy anyway. I would much rather have a guy with a wonderful personality because looks aren't always everything. It's the person that shell encompass that matters. I had a pretty boyfriend once, he was an ass. I had an ugly boyfriend, and he was the best (well, until he turned bad too, but you get the point.)

Your ferret sounds like my cat. :shock: She does NOT like anyone but me or my family half the time and if she does like you then I trust her judgment. Sounds almost strange, but it's true. I always trust my Familiar's instincts before I trust my own because I am a bleeding heart when it comes to people. (and animals, but people are sometimes deceiving!)

I thought about being a vet a few years ago, but I was horribly at science and math. I wouldn't have made it at all. At least this gives me a path to help in some way.

Ah, Fan-fiction. I remember the days. I think That is what started my role-playing actually. :insane: I think I was about 12 when I wrote my first fan-fiction to the cartoon "Hey Arnold!". lol. From there, I did a couple for Inuyasha, then I quit and went to writing down my own stuffs. I join RP's if I get writer's block because it helps me get through it, so I understand that much. XD

Oh yeah, I know the eye candy usually turn out to be not worth my time.. but at the same time.. it's still very fun to look. I just know.. though personality can be great on a guy.. I also need to have a form of attraction to a guy's looks to enjoy my time with them when I do have a boyfriend that is.

My ferret likes only me... she bites my mom all the time.. :( I think it's because my mom needs to train her not to bite as well. It's sad though.. My brother is scared of my favorite and her. >.<

I was around that age when I started as well. I've only ever written Harry Potter fanfiction, pairing him with Severus Snape. ... Yes I'm a yaoi addict.. have been since my friend linked me to an adultfanfic when I was eleven. xD

I roleplay a lot.. It's one of the things that isn't really affected by writer's block. it's a good thing I know .. but doing so doesn't entirely get me through my block at all.

I'm the same as you two about people I like D: Though I'd need somebody with a whole bunch of stuff in common with me so how cute they are amounts to nothing in the end really...already fell into that trap once. ;_;

And waw, your reason for wanting to do Criminal Justice is awesome...and now I sort of want to do it too T__T I really can't decide my life path at all...! And my bestfriend (an online friend of course) who also can't decide what to pursue in life said the other day that it's like being stuck on character creation undecided before you start at MMO D: /geeks

Also, Kale you seem awesome also :3!

OH AND CATS I love them! I have three, two I got from shelters and one was a stray who just decided that she lived here<3

Lol Thanks Somnloquy. :)

Mm.. I used to be stuck on what I wanted to do.. I still am sort of stuck.. I guess I chose Vet Tech for a bad reason but it was on the top of my list.. I just didn't know what I wanted to do.. and people were just pressuring me.. and I felt horrible not knowing where to take my life so I chose the closest one I thought I could spend my life doing.

Only now my dad is pressuring why don't you go for veterinarian when I'd already told him why twenty times.. bleh..

sorry about the rant.

I tend to know what a person is going to be like, but I like to give them a chance anyway because I believe that anyone can change. Some can't but hey, at least I gave them a chance. You know what? The people online in these kind of communities tend to think more alike than others... at least, I tend to draw similar people anyway. lol.

Yea, my familiar just has an attitude. She's just like me sometimes it's scary. XP

I'm not a complete Yaoi adict, but I do own between 6 and 10 June's. My favorites of the sets are Jazz, Kissing and the other that I can't think of the title right now of! XP lol.

My roleplay is what gets my creative juices flowing. lol. If I have something to work with, then I can normally pull off at least two worthy paragraphs. XI

I still don't know if my chosen majors are going to be my actual life path, but I do know that I want to involve them all in a certain way. IT would be awesome. Who knows, I could end up living as a hermit in the mountains of South America and not incorporate any training... lol.

No problem about the ranting, I always do myself. I don't shut up and I talk way to much in person anyway! XD

I think it's more, people with like minds tend to drift to certain communities, at least that's what I find. -nods- It's always good to give a person a chance of course.

Hm.. I'm afraid I've not heard of any of those. :XP

I may return to schooling even after finishing technician courses.. but at least I'll have something to go back on if that doesn't work out. -nods-

Any tips on art block? ;~;
I suddenly feel all inspired and stuff though, but for some reason can't get myself to pick up tablet or paper... Phobia of failure? D: D:
I need someone to tell me to shut up and do it... Be my strict teachers! D:

Oh and yes, I love the internet since we can choose what communties of people to talk to...just by searching the interest into google apparently :3!
