So this is the Scary Story Game. I am going to write two sentences to the beginning of a scary story that we all are going to help create.

Like so:

It was a dark and stormy night. The house creaked back and forth as the shutters shook against the windows.

Then you all are going to add to it.

Like so:

The sky brightened as lightening struck. The house was lit up for a brief second and the darkness disappeared only to return.

Rules:

• You must add only two sentences per post.
• You can play as many times as you want, but be sure you don't double post. (Mods don't like it.)
• You have to put your post in quotes.
• Please be polite.
• Try not to curse as well.
• Have fun.

The Scary Story:

It was a dark and stormy night. The house creaked back and forth as the shutters shook against the windows. The sky brightened as lightening struck. The house was lit up for a brief second and the darkness disappeared only to return. Somewhere in the corners of the creaking structure, a rat scurried about. Eerily, the floorboards creaked under even their weight. A figure peered through the dusty brown window,cupping their hands in the window trying to get a better look. She could see nothing but slight shadows of the lamps, and rats scurrying about. Taking a deep breath the figure slowly moved to the door. Her had started shaking as she slowly took a hold of the door knob. The doorknob creaked as it turned, pushing open the door the girl stood rooted in place peering into the darkness. A moan echoed in the darkness, sending shivers down her spine. Making her way inside, she took a deep breath and pushed away the feeling of fear beginning to seep into her bones. "It's now or never.", she whispered as the door closed behind her. "I love you! Don't go, please don't go! I love you!" The voice consistently moaned, sounding vaguely familiar. She stopped walking, listening to the moaning around her. She stuttered "H-Hello? Who is there?"

The doorknob creaked as it turned, pushing open the door the girl stood rooted in place peering into the darkness. A moan echoed in the darkness, sending shivers down her spine.

Making her way inside, she took a deep breath and pushed away the feeling of fear beginning to seep into her bones. "It's now or never.", she whispered as the door closed behind her.

The moaning grew louder for a second then died off. Shaken the girl took a few more steps forward.
