The show is awful but the games can keep me entertained for hours. <3

People may not watch it simply because the voice actors and the content style have changed so much from "back in the day". But the card game is, in some circles, still alive and there and big prizes for playing the games including money and the chance to go to Tokyo. So they're definitely not cheap on rewards XD.

With the advent of wifi there's been a lot more that the games could do. *nods*

As far as how the thread goes, if anyone here is wifi capable, at the very end, one lucky person could walk away with a 100% legit event Pokemon! (and no not the XD pokes either)and chances are, it will be one of the hardest ones to get legitimately...*hint hint*

Pokemon is totally still alive! The series may now be voice acted by people who sounds like the hobo down the street who is almost certainly drunk every time you see him, and the games may begin to become less original, when you get to the twentieth evolution of Eevee, and yes, the games may have exhausted almost every standpoint for legendary pokemon, from time, space, all the elements, the moon, the sun, rainbows, numerous foreign mythologies, but the spirit of pokemon lives on inside those who remember!

Those who once stumbled their ways through the dreaded glitch city, those who wooed at every sight of pikachu, those who cried in agony, as missingno destroyed their game cartridge utterly! So know that the spirit of pokemon will live on as long as it is to be remembered, and perhaps stories of the mysteries of Unknown will be passed down from generation to gamer generation. *Salutes a flag of pikachu, a tear rolling down my cheek* Good on ya, you cute, electric mouse.

=3 Nice, I like collection Pokemon cards and I love the games, I'd watch the show if it wasn't so poorly dubbed as well. Seriously, once Ash said, "Woah! Shes holding a Pokeball!" That, and it drives me insane, his freaking Pikachu should be at lv. 100 by now, yet he still has trouble beating the first gym leader every time.

Iggy-I salute you who knew the ways it had been and always will be. Forever more will the electric sparkle mouse be the emblem of the 90's kids boom.

I do hope though that they don't overkill eevee. It's genes can only be split so many ways...><

Kasene- I thought that was just me who noticed that...so I'm not the only one. At least it made sense in the very first season-he did have an electric type.

Eva- Skitty is one of those cutsy Pokemon that I like and don't mind much. Wigglytuff, ever since Mystery Dungeon explorers of Time/Darkness has scared me like no tomorrow....

The games have always been fun for me and my favorite pokemon of all times is Gastly and his evolutions.

Gastly, Haunter andGengar was the only real ghost pokemon back in the day....Ahhhh the days when they reigned supreme as the only ones of their kind.

Yes they were i don't consider the new ones ghosts compared to gastly and his evolutions.

I don't know if you've ever seen the fourth gen, but Spiritomb looks like a Gastly on crack or steroids IMO. It's not...Pokemon-ish you know?

Yea i've seen it, played basically every pokemon game to date and your right it does look like gastly on crack and it doesn't seem like a pokemon to me.

I miss just the original 151 pokemon

I will give them this, Garchomp and Lucario look pretty awesome and for evo's sake, Weavile seemed to outshine most others. But there were some ideas that made me wonder...
