Since this is more appropriate for the Media forum, I went ahead and moved it over there for you. :)
But I checked and surprisingly, a thread on cartoons in general has not been made yet.

I personally loooove Pokemon.
There's lots of seasons for it, but my favorite has to be the original series involving the original 150 Pokemon.
Haha I'm a nerd. :P

Uhhh.
Avatar on Nick is total love, but Cartoon Network is still my favorite. Chowder, Flapjack, Grim Adventures. Classic stuff.

I still miss Angry Beavers, Hey Arnold, Doug, etc.

Hm... Darn, I have a lot of favorite cartoons!

One of my favorites used to be Nicktoons Network, but I don't watch it too much anymore so I guess my favorite channel is now officially Cartoon Network!

As for my favorite cartoon? It is a toss up between The Secret Saturdays and Xiaolin Showdown. I have each episode taped is they aren't out on DVD, which I have all, and watch them all the time!

Metalocalypse, King of the Hill, Squidbillies, Super Jail.
I'm an Adult Swim kind of person... can you tell?
The twisted, dark, and morbid humor gets me every time, and I just love Southern accents and hey King of the Hill reminds me of my family. but DETHKLOK RULES!!!

I guess I can say Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon, and my favorite cartoon is currently The Venture Brothers.

What was your favorite cartoon when you were little?

Mine was Strawberry Shortcake. Its so funny that it made a comeback, but none of the current cartoons/videos compare to the cartoons in the 80's when I was growing up!!

That and Rainbow Brite..

I really liked Invader Zim, but that wasn't too long ago I suppose.

I never really had one show I loved because I get bored easily. But I went through fazes with Pokemon, Yu-gi-oh, Sailor Moon, Outlaw Star...etc.

Ah yes! When I was really, really little... I'm talkin' Kindergarten to 1st grade... I liked Strawberry Shortcake and Rainbow Brite. My parents would rent vhs tapes from the local grocery store. I wouldn't at that age consider anything my 'favorite' but I had my preferences.

When I found something that I finally considered a definite 'favorite' and 'must watch every chance its on' it would be in 4th grade with Digimon. =D And I'm talking Adventure 01 with Myotismon and stuffs.

I don't remember watching that many cartoons growing up. My most vivid childhood television memories involve Sesame Street and Reading Rainbow. But of Saturday morning cartoons, my favorite was probably Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I still have a Michelangelo action figure somewhere....

I loved the cheesy action cartoons like Thundercats and stuff like that. I watch The Centurions briefly. Sailor moon was one of my first anime when I was kid. One cartoon I liked that no one else I know remembers was called The Pirates of Dark Water. Strange story but it was very entertaining. It had a monkeybird which was a combination of a monkey with bird wings and a beak that talked. All around a really cool show.

When I was younger I loved My little pony, Strawberry shortcake, Captian Planet, Thundercats, She-ra, The snorks, smurfs, and stuff like that.

Someone mentioned the Aladdin series and I had to throw that in too since I was pretty much obsessed with it. That and Free willy the series although I'm not too sure how many people actually remember that one.

Phineas and Ferb is my new favorite!
I do love Fosters Home For Imaginary Friends as well.
I loved Rugrats when I was younger though.
They just don't make animated toons like they used too =[

in terms of childhood cartoons, I'd say SWAT Kats was a good series. I found a few episodes on Youtube recently, and I found that I fell in love with the series all over again. There are definitely some things that could be done over in my opinion, and it would have been a very good quality show. I think it would be awesome if they could redo the series or something along those lines (if they could get the original voice actors that is).

Cartoon Network (at least the Cartoon Network I remember as a kid...it's not all that great now).
