D E V I L F E R N and K O K O N I M O

SETTING

It is twilight in early fall in Vienna. The air is still holding the summer's warmth, but with a tinge of the coolness and scent of autumn. The sun has just vanished behind the mountains, and the blanket of night is just beginning to settle on the buildings. The narrow streets are full of shadows, and it is one particular street that we will focus on...

A street of artificers and tradesmen. The shops have all closed for the evening, and the street is empty. Well, not completely empty...

CHARACTERS

DEVILFERN
Name: Siegfried Bonne
Race: Vampire
Age: 123, although he looks like he's in his early twenties
Occupation: Librarian/"gentleman adventurer"
Description: Tall, lean and lanky, with a thin face with prominent cheekbones. He has ash blond hair, cut rather short with longer bangs. His eyes are a deep blue gray, and his skin is a very pale color. He generally wears well cut clothes in dark blues, browns, or grays, and sturdy but elegant black boots. He also carries a rapier with him, although he rarely uses it to fight against humans or hunters, preferring to use his teeth and fists. (Picture coming, I have to finish it and upload it, heehee)
Personality: Siegfried is something of a loner. He is generally rude and taciturn, but can occasionally be very noble and kind. He loves to hear himself talk, and thinks he's a lot smarter than he actually is. He likes to chase after women and flirt, but he's not very good about commitment and can be very shy around anyone he actually admires. Siegfried loves to read and study language, and he has a special love for ancient mythology. He carries old books around with him everywhere, and often prefers to read rather than socialize.
Likes: Books, good wine, good clothes, women, fencing.
Dislikes: Dirt, anyone touching his books, people.
Special Talents: Siegfried is a gifted swordsman. He also speaks English, German (his native tongue), Czech, French, and some Russian.
Powers/Fighting Styles: Siegfried has the power to influence minds. He can't control anyone with a very strong will, but he can implant suggestions into people's heads that can sometimes be very convincing.
Story: Siegfried was born in Austria to poor parents. As a child he was sent to grammar school, where his teacher found that he was an incredibly talented linguist. After he left school, he was incredibly lucky to find a job as a translator for a printing shop. One night, walking home from work, he was attacked and turned by a vampire. When he arose, Siegfried was delighted with his newfound powers, but swore to find the vampire that turned him to give him what for. Eventually he found him, stabbed him, and set him on fire. Siegfried left Austria after that, and now travels from place to place, acquiring rare books - mostly illegally - and investigating local legends.

It has a slight wave and if he tries to brush it, his hair becomes a bush. So thus, he usually wears his hair in a low ponytail that ends between his shoulder blades. First post. :)

"Aaah!" Ceslav lunged forward, just in the knick of time. Within his hands was a small glass figurine, an asian elephant, that had almost certainly been so close to death.

Letting out a hesitant sigh, Ceslav righted himself and set the elephant, "Fanny" he called her, back on the low shelf. Ceslav was in a hurry. It had already passed closing time and he was still putting things away in the shop. Oh, how better his master was at this. Too bad he was out of town at the moment.

Ceslav grinned at the thought. He liked the taste of power he had acquired. Why, he could clean the windows when he very well pleased! He could dust the shelves as soon as the shopkeeper was coming back into town!

But he could, never, never touch his master's equipment.

Well, there goes that power trip.

Walking over to the bay window, Ceslav parted the curtains slightly to let in the last rays of light. He was afraid to cause any more destruction. He scratched his head as he yawned and flopped down in the chair by the window. Inspecting his yellowing nails and callused hands, Ceslav took a small break. He couldn't so much as sit when the master was in town. Every now and then, Ceslav would peer out the window, smiling slightly as the small children went scampering off to their homes. They would probably pay dearly for staying out so late. Thinking of their innocent play, Ceslav thought of home. Wow, how much he missed his family. They had been all he had ever known when growing up. He had only a few friends, the handful of brave kids who weren't afraid to catch what new illness Ceslav had. Grinning scornfully, Ceslav bounced up and reached to shut the window. However, something caught his eye before he did so. This wasn't a child he saw; whoever it might have been was much too tall for that. That's strange, customers don't usually come around this late.

Oh well. He had better make haste and shut down the place before the gentleman noticed that his shop was everything but closed.

Two children were scampering down the street, the last of the late stragglers rushing home. They giggled as they ran, delighting in their rebellion of staying out so late. One of them, a small boy, shoved his companion and challenged him to a race down the street. They sped up, and the little boy was about to win when he suddenly collided with something. He was immediately yanked back by a gloved hand at his shirt collar.

"You watch where you're going, brat." The menacing voice issued from the object of collision - a tall, pale young man with a very sour expression on his face. The child recoiled in horror and shock, and shook himself away from the cold grip. He and his friend sped away down the street, terrified by the thin, angry face.

Siegfried Bonne adjusted the fit of his elegant coat, snarling to himself. "Widerliche kleine Ratten...disgusting little rats." He looked down the darkening street, his gray-blue eyes catching the dying light. His stomach growled.

Siegfried couldn't exactly be called handsome - his face was very thin, with high cheekbones and an aquiline nose. His lips were pale and generally pulled into a disdainful frown, and when he talked the glints of his oddly sharp teeth could be seen. His ash blond hair was cut short, but it had overgrown somewhat, so that his bangs fell into his eyes. He pulled his gray gloves more tightly onto his fingers, as if to try to keep in more warmth, although he had no need to worry about the cold.

Whistling, Siegfried began to stroll down the street once more, glancing in the shop windows to see if there were anything interesting - or tasty - inside. His eye caught movement; the twitch of a curtain in a shop further down the street. Siegfried smiled. He proceeded down the street casually, and when he reached the shop, pretended to examine his reflection in the window. He could just make out a figure seated inside in the low light. Siegfried's eyes narrowed as his face split into a grin. He would have to hunt no farther.

Now, imagine this.

On the one day that Ceslav happened to be manning the shop, the strangest of people decided to stop at his window. When he had just closed. Oh, what luck he had today.

Ceslav hesitantly returned the strangers look, offering a small smile in return. He tried to motion that he was closed for the evening but wasn't sure if the other could figure this or not.

Dropping his gestuculating hands in frustration, Ceslav pointed over to the door. He'd have to tell the gentleman face to face, then. Perhaps if he was friendly about it and told the man nicely, he might return the next day. Honestly, glass art isn't exactly an everday necessity to most people. The gentleman looked like a refined sort with his tailored coat and all. It took an acquired taste to appreciate such art anyway.

Growing increasingly excited about the possible transaction, Ceslav went over the words he'd say in his sales pitch. Muttering to himself, "Sorry, sir, the books are closed..." and "Discount for the inconvenience," he made made his way to the door. Straightening his extremely uncomfortable frock, Ceslav pulled on the door's handle, putting on one of his "faker" faces.

"Hello, sir! I am not sure if you understood, but we are closed for the evening. I am sorry for the confusion, I should have closed down much sooner. Perhaps if you return tomorrow, I can offer a discount on your purchase?"

(Ceslav made sure to emphasize the word, "purchase".)

Siegfried smiled at the young man burbling at him through the door. It wasn't a nice smile. It was like the smile of an alligator. The kid looked like just what he needed - a nice square meal. A little thin, but there wasn't much to be done for it. But it was obvious that the boy had been given very specific instructions and had learned his part well. It was going to take some convincing to get into that shop.

Siegfried dropped his smile and assumed an expression of disappointment and worry. "Oh dear," He said, "I was so hoping I hadn't come too late! You see, I made an order with Herr..." Siegfried took a moment to glance at the name painted on the window "...Eberharter a few days ago, for my sister's engagement present. It was just announced last week...but you see, I fell ill, and I couldn't pick it up on time...Could you be ever so kind and find it for me? I really do need it now, for the party is happening later tonight. I can pay you extra, if you would fetch it for me? Herr Eberharter told me it would be finished by Friday, I just haven't been able to come out to the shop." Siegfried contrived to look desperate and nervous. He hadn't been much of an actor before he had...turned, but now it seemed quite easy to adopt another persona. Siegfried Bonne? Who was he? No no, I'm mild mannered Herr So-and-So, here to pick up a present for my dear sister, would you like to see a picture, et cetera.

Ceslav's smile dropped slightly. He wasn't exactly expecting to do any work. With a slight roll of his eyes, which he quickly checked himeslf on, he bowed to the gentleman. He felt a little sorry for him.

"Ah, I see your predicament. However, Master Eberharter left me no such mention. But I suppose I could bend the rules a bit. I'll be right back," Ceslav flashed a fake grin before shutting the door in the man's face. "Seriously? And I never get any compensation for this..." he muttered to himself. He had begun to walk away but stopped in mid step.

How was he to look up an order that he didn't even have the name for? Sighing, Ceslav spun on his foot and cracked the door again. Oh how he wish he could go home already. "Excuse, sir, I forgot to ask... what name is this order under?"

"It's under Bohm." Siegfried said, and immediately regretted it. How stupid could he be to use a name so similar to his own? Remembering his "manners", he quickly added, "I really do appreciate this. I'm sorry to keep you." It was difficult to keep his tone pleasant - after all, the kid had slammed the door in his face without so much as a by-your-leave. He really was having to work hard on this one.

Before Ceslav could close the door once more, Siegfried quickly said "Would it be alright for me to come in? It is rather chilly out here." He pretended to shiver. It wasn't really cold at all - not that he would feel it anyway - but he hoped the apprentice would take the bait. Unless he could coax Ceslav outside, Siegfried would have to dine indoors. And getting inside required an invitation from the kid, who seemed very unlikely to give it unprovoked. Siegfried sighed internally. What happened to the days when he could just haul a girl off into an ally and have done with it right then and there? These days he had to be careful, as the citizens were getting suspicious. How did city vampires do it? Well, there wasn't anything for it, he was going to have to leave Vienna soon.

Ceslav dropped his eyes but kept his face upright. Raising them slowly after giving "Mr. Bohm" a once-over, Ceslav gave a slight nod and stepped away for him to enter. He couldn't be icy, he was trying to get the man's money after all.

"Mr. Bohm, you say..? Hm... still doesn't ring a bell," Ceslav tilted his head slightly. It was still dark in the shop, he could barely make out the other's features. He was good with remembering faces, but he lacked in talent when it came to remembering names. Realizing how akward it was to be standing in a dark enclosed place with a stranger, Ceslav went over to the front counter. Aside the register, he struck a piece of flint and lit a small candle there. There wasn't much of the candle left, Mr. Eberharter was much to cheap for that.

Figuring he'd better use another bit of wax in the back room, he left the candle for Mr. Bohm's courtesy. He gave him a slight nod again before stepping behind the closed doors of the work area. He made sure to lock it from the inside which made a terribly loud noise. He wasn't trying to be rude... he just wanted to emphasize on the fact that no customers were allowed in Mr. Eberharter's "special area." He had accidentally let a browsing couple behind-the-scenes once. Yeah.. Mr. Eberharter had had his hide for that one. But then again, he wasn't here was he?

Ceslav neglected to unlock the door and walked over to the book that he had just previously locked up. Reaching for a key hanging from a necklace under his shirt collar, Ceslav proceeded to unlock the trunk that held the books. He pulled out the large volumes and flipped to the nearest page. "Bohm... Bohm..." he scanned with a longish nail. His nails were girly-long... and yellowing. It was disgusting, but it allowed him to have greater control over his glasswork. After having scanned the last column, he failed to find a Bohm.

The gentleman couldn't have had the wrong shop. Mr. Eberharter was the only glassmith on this avenue. The old man must be a tad confused. Okay, he wasn't that old.. but the client base was majorly... well, old. Ceslav laughed to himself about that one. He was completely assured that he had screwed himself over financially by taking such an interest in his craft.

Ceslav dropped the books back into the case and shut the lid without locking it. He walked over to the door and unlocked it. Looking back once more for any sort of note Mr. Eberharter had left, he spoke offhandedly to Mr. Bohm.

"Ah... well... I do not have you on the register. Are you sure you left the right date?"

The sun had fully set by then, and the shop was almost completely dark except for the little candle sputtering in the front room. But there was no longer any trace of "Mr. Bohm" in its light.

Siegfried inhaled deeply, but quietly, breathing in the scent of the boy. He was standing tensed in the shadow beside the door of the back room. He could see nothing but a sliver of light coming from inside, but his vampire's senses gave him a clear contour of everything inside, especially the warm body so close to the door. Siegfried was slightly unnerved - he wasn't used to this kind of hunting, to ensnare the victim before the attack. He preferred a much quicker way...but that was becoming impractical.

He would have to wait until Ceslav left the back room to pounce. The boy's back would be to him then, he would be able to get a perfect angle on it...Being as quiet as only a vampire can, Siegfried waited.

Ceslav opened the door a little wider. He hadn't heard a response so he called again. "My Bohm? Are you certain you left the exact due date?" Ceslav raised his eyebrow when he realized he didn't see the man anymore.

How glad he was that he had locked the door. Wait... what if he was a burgler?! Ceslav's eyes widened a bit as he shut the door slowly. He eventually placed his back against it while he reached for a poker iron on the side of the door. Mr. Eberharter left utensils just like this for occasions just like the current. No wonder why the "Mr. Bohm" did not show up! He had made the name up in an effort to rob him! He'd teach him. Ceslav looked down at himself.

He sure hoped he could.

Placing the iron parallel to his back behind him, Ceslav opened the door once again. "Sorry, dropped something there," he fibbed, his eyes searching what little areas the candle light reached. Ever so carefully, Ceslav edged out of the back room but made sure to keep his back to it. Oh no.. had he not locked the trunk back up?

Siegfried moved fast. He had heard the heart begin to race when Ceslav had noticed that "Mr. Bohm" was no longer there. He had practically (but not really, because Siegfried was not the kind of vampire that could do this sort of thing) hear the thoughts racing in the boy's head. Well, that was all well and good. A body working with extra adrenaline would just make a quicker meal.

Vampires are known for their speed, and Siegfried was a quick one. He darted from his position in the shadows and seized Ceslav around the neck. With one swift and fluid movement he snarled and pulled the boy's head to one side.

"You gave me a lot of trouble, Junge. I hope you're worth it...my time is valuable, after all." All this was said in a rapid hoarse whisper into Ceslav's ear. Siegfried could feel the vampire impulse sending electric urges through his muscles, straining to plunge his fangs into the boy's neck and feast until there was no more. But Siegfried liked to fight it for a few moments...it made the whole experience more enjoyable in the end.

Ceslav stood frozen. For one, why was a grown man coddling him like this and why in the heck did he feel as if his life was in danger? Ah, steal his hard earned money, would he?!

Ceslav strained against the man's hold, jabbing the iron poker behind, in front, wherever it could reach, in an attempt to stab the man. If he could get him, maybe /he'd/ take what the man had. He had read tales of innocent victims surprised by a sneaky thief. Ceslav was not about to be one of them.

He was fighting now, wresting his away back and forth in order to free the hold on him. "If you-- think you--oj! I hate robbers, null toleranz!!!" Of course all this yelling was to disguise his lack of fighting skills. He had never really had a physical confrontation with anyone but his siblings. Reaching this way and that, Ceslav decided to add his nails to the mix. It surely couldn't hurt--not him, anyway.

Seigfried snarled and tightened his grip around Ceslav's neck. How stupid could this kid be? He seemed to think that Siegfried was trying to rob him! What would a vampire want out of a ridiculous little shop like this? The poker was getting on his nerves too. With one deft movement, Siegfried snatched it out of the air on one of its wild paths through the air. His knuckles tightened around the cold iron.

"Be quiet, for god's sake! I'm only trying to kill you!" Siegfried growled. "Now you listen - I need you to be nice and quiet and calm down. This is not as enjoyable when your heart is beating so damn fast."

(( Let me know when it's okay to bite! Or not :O shall Ceslav get bited? Ps. Sorry for the short post, I'm typing on an iPhone! ))

"Eh?"

And with that, Ceslav started to thrash again. He had no right to tell him how fast his heart could or could not beat. Indignant as always, Ceslav now tried to kick the man. After a few aim-less swings, he paused momentarily to catch his breath while all the while spitting out threats.

"Look Mr. Bohm, Mr. /Who-ever-you-are/, I don't have time for this! *gasp gasp* I am /entrusted/ *gasp* to shut down this establishment. I *choke* /demand/ that you to release me at once!" Ceslav squeaked out between gulps of air.

The choking got him to coughing again. And if one cough began, then an onslaught would continue. Soon his throat was irritated and he couldn't stop coughing. It was kind of embarrassing... but not like he cared to hold up appearances in the proximity of a burglar.

"Alright. I've had enough of this." Siegfried rolled his eyes and sank his teeth into Ceslav's neck. The blood rushed immediately into his mouth - Ceslav's heart was working under the influences of adrenaline, after all. Siegfried pulled deep, feeling the satisfaction of finally getting to subdue this bratty kid and feed. Suddenly, however, something went wrong - there was an AWFUL taste intermixed with the normal rich taste of human blood. Siegfried pulled away, flinging Ceslav from him as though he carried the plague. He spat.

"Guh! Disgusting! Just what was that, you little bastard?" He cried, furiously wiping his mouth in an attempt to rid it of the taste.

(( It was okay for him to bite Ceslav, right? Just not turn him? ))

[[ Of course. ^^ It's going to be hilarious how this turns out. xDDD Ha... Hm... why could it taste bad... maybe... Lack of oxygen? Would that make blood taste differently? If its like not blood-rich? Ceslav has respiratory problems after all, so he has trouble breathing sometimes. Poor fellow.]]

Ceslav stumbled away in shock. He made his way over to the chair which had been perched by the window. His legs were shaking dangerously under him as he sank slowly down. He didn't even look to see where the chair lie, only using his hands to grope his proximity to it. He stared at the other man, one hand going to his throat. He felt something cold there and pulled his hand slowly away to look at it. His eyes grew wide as he recognized the hue but not before he was overtaken by another coughing fit.

When the irritation had calmed, he looked up shakily to the other across the room. What kind of a person would do such a thing? Was he a cannibal? Ceslav was too shaky to run. In a quick thought, he regretted how he had dropped the iron poker before stumbling away. What if the man came back for more?

((...I'm not quite sure  Why don't we go with the breathing problem, that should make Ceslav a little less tasty. Or maybe some harmless genetic thing? Like he could have type O blood which Siegfried is allergic to? lol I don't know. I probably should have consulted you about that, I just wasn't sure how to make it so Siegfried would have a reason not to snack him all up  ))

Siegfried spat and spluttered, ignoring Ceslav for the moment while he tried to rid himself of the taste. When he looked up again, his eyes were dull and he was panting, and there was a bit of pink-tinged saliva at the corners of his mouth. His stomach churned. What had just happened? The boy was gone, shit! Had he run?

Siegfried stomped after the fleeing Ceslav and yanked him back by his shirt collar. "What's wrong with you? Why do you taste so bad?" He demanded indignantly, shaking the boy. "What did you do?" This was just about as logical as interrogating a bowl of soup to ask why it didn't contain carrots. How should the soup know? But Siegfried was furious anyway, his pale face stormy with rage and indignation. He had just been cheated of his dinner - well, part of it - which he had taken such great pains to get. Some vampires liked to tease and taunt their victims, sometimes going months before actually killing them. Siegfried, however, preferred to be stylish in other ways, and always went for the quick kill. From the expression on his elegant face, it could well be said that he was angry from being denied that satisfaction.

(( Iono. Whichever seems more plausible. :) Go with whichever you'd like. Since, of course, you know your character far better than me. xD ))

Ceslav found his legs limp and unable to fight back when Siegfried pulled him back. It infuriated him, this random questioning. The man had just practically ate him and Ceslav was not too quick to forgive.

"Excuse me?" he sneered, spinning around once he got his footing. One hand reached out to snatch the other's arm that was holding him. He was ready to dig his hardened nails in. "Get out."

As most know, when an animal is cornered, it will come out fighting. Ceslav was no exception. He had just been violated and yet this thing in front of him had the audacity to question /him/? He had never met a cannibal before, but he wasn't about to let this be his last time.

Siegfried glanced down at the boy's hand, poised to dig its nails into his skin. He frowned. Something was definitely wrong there, but what? Siegfried flicked a finger across the wound on Ceslav's neck once more. A little blob of crimson came away on his finger. He sniffed at it for a moment and gave a cautious lick. Ugh! There is was again. Siegfried grimaced and let Ceslav go again.

"Oh. I knew I should have been more careful." Siegfried said, his face pulled into an expression of disgust. "Why didn't I notice that before..." He turned to Ceslav and said, with a very serious expression, "Do you wear scent? Perfume?"

(( I was about to make Siegfried say that Ceslav had a certain type of blood, but then I remembered that the blood types weren't discovered or named until like a century later or something. Heehee, dumb me :) ))

(( Oh my gosh, chi. Don't get all scientific on me. I'm sorry, but is there a shorter name I can call you by that you prefer? You can call me Koko or Tiarra, my actual name. :D ))

Ceslav's eyebrow raised as he shrugged his shoulders and pulled his shirt collar around his neck. That finger of his was cold and it made him shiver. He had failed to notice this fact before. Spinning on his foot, he walked away in a huff. "I do not have to answer to you."

He walked nonchalantly over to the back room's door and went inside. Locking the door once again, he settled against it and slid down to a squatting position. Ceslav was trying to make sense of what just happened.

Alright, a strange "Mr. Bohm" comes in to tell a lie about an order that was never made. Thinking the man was there to rob him, Ceslav had prepared to fight. However, the man didn't rob him, but he /bit/ him. Ceslav had never been bit by a human before. Must be a cannibal. A timid hand reached to feel the wound on his neck and he winced at the cool trickle of blood there. He didn't like the feel of wounds so he quickly set about to find a clean cloth to press to his neck. The back room, however, was a workshop so he was having a particularly hard time finding anything remotely resembling clean.

((Sure! You can call me Devil or Fern or whatever. Or Alice  I'll call you Koko, even though your real name is pretty too @w@ I just think Koko is so cute!))

"Hey!" Siegfried huffed and crossed his arms as the boy limped away. Whatever, the kid would most likely die...well, actually he probably wouldn't, if he could still walk and talk. Damn. He should just go ahead and finish the job, seeing as he couldn't have the kid tell anyone of what Siegfried had done to him. The vampire was in hot water already. He sighed. It was because he'd wanted to stay in the damn city so long! He really should have left months ago. Besides, the boy tasted so bad...well, that wasn't much of a problem. There were many other ways to kill someone.

Quietly, the rage of the previous moments forgotten, Siegfried ambled into the back room and watched Ceslav root around for a clean cloth to hold against his wound. He watched in silence for a few moments before speaking.

"I would lend you a kerchief, but I don't want your foul blood to ruin it."

(( -blush blush- Aw, thank you. ^^ Koko is fun, indeed. I like Alice, it's a pretty name! When I say it, I whistle. x3 Okay, that's kind of embarrassing. Forget I said that. I also wanted to thank you for your patience, Fern! I've been quite... not here the past couple of days and I appreciate that you haven't given up on me yet. :) -knocksonwood- ))

His hair stood on end. Hadn't he just latched that door? If his previous "creeped out-ness" was nothing before, it was surely something now. Ceslav whipped around--the action made him rather dizzy--and he slurred out a semi-threat.

"You... You had better... get out of here!" Ceslav shreaked, stumbling over things in his path after he walked away.

'Well, old boy, this is the end. And to think, what would Coralie ((his twin)) say? "Ceslav, the old fool. To be eaten by a cannibal... I wonder if I get his inheritance..."'

The thought broke Ceslav out of his mini reverie. Just in time to trip over something else. Hitting the floor with a thud, Ceslav dropped his head in defeat.

"Oh, be quick with it..." he mumbled.

((I totally understand! As a busy person, I can't always get on Mene myself. But I'm glad we've kept this roleplay still going too  ))

A strange expression flashed across the vampire's pale face. Was it pity or disgust? With long strides, Siegfried crossed the room and crouched down by the exhausted Ceslav. He reached out and pushed the boy's head up with a hand underneath his chin. "That's odd. You've given up so easily." He took his hand away again. "That's not really healthy. I wonder if you're even worth it."

Siegfried was silent for a moment, watching Ceslav's face but not really taking in any information about it. His mind was elsewhere, but there was no hint in his face to what he was thinking. This is never a good expression for a potential killer to have. Siegfried stayed silent for a long while; the two of them made an odd scene - the well-dressed pale young man crouching beside the slumped figure of another, not so much younger than the first.

Finally Siegfried spoke. "Do you want to die? Why?"

"No, whatever would make you think that? But if you are going to eat me, you might as well get on with it," Ceslav grumbled, yanking his head away from Mr. Bohm's stare. He had been easily overpowered too many times already. And the reason for his previous stuttering... well, the boy was short of breath. He knew that if he were to over exert himself, the attacks would begin again. And horrible it was to not guarantee one's next breath. Maybe if he called the man's bluff, he'd have some other chance of escape. But seeing his condition, running was not the option now. Plus, he felt strangely light headed and dizzy. Weak, even. That was a bad combination.

"What is it your care what I do, hm? Don't tell me you'll eat me alive," Ceslav leered, finding himself ending in a smirk. He gave a short-breathed laugh that allowed him to regain some of his composure. He welcomed the slight pause. Ah, laughing made him even the more dizzy. His head dipped up and down with amusement until finally he collapsed on the floor. He was still conscious... just a bit tipsy-turvy--and trying to find a way out of the situation.

(( I've never had a real opportunity to expound on Ceslav's character, so I'm rather enjoying this roleplay. It's not cliche at all. xD ))
