For the ones who don't know yet, I'm an Animation student.
Which means I make movies and clips with various animation styles etc etc.
At my school we have this kind of project that normally lasts for 7 weeks, 8 hours per week. Which you have to make with 3 other people. 5 of these projects a school year.

This school year we had one project of 13 weeks, 10 hours per week.
Our mission?
To make an animation with an actor.
We could use everything we wanted, from 3-d to stop motion.

I'll save you the details.
But when we just had one and a half week left my teachers decided it would be better for me to work alone.

So I ended up with an animation that needs lots and lots of improvement. But my teachers were surprised I could fix something like that.

Rotoscope is a technique that consist out of drawing over real life footage, frame by frame. (Snow White is an example and things like Roger the Rabbit are as well)

Here's the rotoscope part:

The clip(you don't have to turn on your sound, because there isn't any):

Are you at an animation/film college right now or in some other class? My boyfriend does film and has worked with some more experimental techniques, he doesn't have any examples up on his Deviantart right now but he does have some other animation, check out "The Light Crafter" Trailer in his gallery: Obfuscated-Noodle's Gallery
Nice job on the Rotoscoping. =)
