The Quest For Light (LOZ RP) -open-

Hundreds of years have passed in the land of Hyrule since the Hero of Time drew the Master Sword from the sacred pedestle and banished evil into the relm of darkness. Stories of the time skipping boy in forest green passed from mother to child over the years until the stories became myths, and the myths became forgotten memories.

Fifty years before our present time, the king of Hyrule called apon a the strongest worriors from the seven devisions of the country. This elite group was named The Light Knights. Each blessed with a pendent of holy light, they were to defend their home lands from the evil the slowly spread. All fell in time.

Present time...

The lands have become rural and distant, towns people are now farm folk who live in tight knit villages. Travelers constantly rome the land selling and trading goods, or just trying to live on to the next day. Gannon's demons patrol the fields but are slow and dumb and thus not much of a threat to the trained amoung the travelers.

On a mid summer day, word is sent to Ordon that a man of the village should report to the castle for training to be Princess Zelda's body guard. Being the only member of the village without family, Link volinteers himself to go. His journey to the castle last less then a full day but he arrives on heavy terms, the king has died.

Zelda was found later that night by Link, she had been missing since four o'clock or so. Sitting and sobbing in her secret spot in a maze garden, she told Link about a story her father had told her, about the Knights of Light. She claimed her father had been murdered and vowed that she'd have her revenge with or without the help of Link.

With a smile, Link swore to fallow Zelda in her pursuit to find the five other worriors of light and the two other princesses who would help them unlock their true strength. After all he was now Zelda's bodyguard and he was under oath to never let harm befall her.

Time is short however, for every day Gannon grows stronger as evil further destroys the land. It's a slow but deadly process and if not stopped in time, Gannon will be unstoppable. Will Zelda and Link find all the missing peaces of an anchient puzzle before it's to late?

Note: We'll be using the Twilight Princess Map.

FYI: Link's mother was a servant in the castle of Hyrule before the Gannon reached it. Pregnate with the child of a fallen archer man, she fled the castle in fear for her childs life. The woman fled to the domain of the Zora people where she arrived with a newly born son. The Zora took the woman in, feeling pitty for her, until a day of doom befell them. Servants of Gannon ravenged the Zora's domain, destroying everything but killing few. Sadly however, Link's mother was one of the few.
Link lived with the Zora for five years before he one day fell into the river, hitting his head and washing into the fields of Hyrule. It was there he was found by a traveling sales man who took the amnysiac boy in as his son. He taught Link almost everything he knows, though his past is a mystery to him.
