I would like art of some of my Mene and Gaia avatars. <3 Awesome art is what makes the world go around, amirite?

Next post has the avatars (and a description of what I'm looking for), and the post after that has what I'm willing to pay.

Even if it doesn't look as though I'm online, I am! I lurk, and I do check in here. So feel free to post even if it doesn't look like I'm going to answer.

What I Would Like:

Obviously, I would like art of the above avatars. I prefer realistic art, impressionistic art, and art noveau (spelling is iffy; I've seen it spelled in different ways) over anything else. Sometimes I appreciate comic-style, sometimes not--but always a more realistic edge. Manga style, for the most part, does not interest me. I'd rather get a brilliantly done, hyperrealistic headshot than a chibi fullbody.

I love realistic / art noveau (also seen it spelled different ways). Alphonse Mucha is a definite favourite of mine, if you like his artwork I can style something inspired by his work.

I do enjoy his work, but I like what you did for Linapoo a lot. :O What would you want to be paid for a piece like that? I'm terrible at pricing things, and I'm always afraid that I'll offer too little.

Hahaha. Oh, please don't worry. I'm not sure what I would price my art at, either. I'm fairly new to Menewsha, and have only been entering art contests. You offer something, and don't worry about offending me. I'm entirely happy to get anything for my artwork at all! :3

XD I hear that. Uhh. Was there anything on the list that you particularly wanted, or no? If not, I'll offer... Horns of Nature?--but if there's something that you're looking for, or if you just really don't want those, then that'd be better.

Horns of Nature isn't something I would go for my avatar, but I don't think my art is worth a whole set and I don't think you want to break up a set...

...So Horns of Nature will do just fine. :3

Also, I do realistic face shots, just need some recent samples. I'll do the first piece, and if everything goes well, I'll send you some samples of my realism (I've never been on a website where people wanted realism!).

Most of the event item sets that I have are... About equivalent to the horns? I think. :sweat: I checked before I offered.

That would be great! I adore realism, but few people seem to enjoy doing it--or few people that I've found. Maybe I've just been looking in all of the wrong places?

I've not met too many, either. Not sure what that's about!

They are vampire teeth, but you don't have to include them as such if you don't want to. :yes: And I'm glad; I really like this one.

I think for the sake of keeping the lines of the mouth sort of simple (I like doing that to faces, simple+pure) I will negate the teeth (I'm not skilled at drawing them, anyhow). I"ve got the basic lineart done, will be inking today, colouring tomorrow.

I'll go check out the price guide and try to find out what everything's worth around here. >.>;

I'd rather have something that you're good at, anyway. :) And I can't wait to see it!

I just realized that the avatar had glasses. whoops. They now exist on the drawing as well. When I get home to a scanner, you can see it then, kaykay?
