i'm an escapist. i love spending time online, listening to music and reading.

i don't have a favorite band or singer, but i adore carter burwell.
my favorite books are the harry potter series <3
i also like twilight (& making fun of it too), but HP > twatlight, always.
i enjoy watching television & films. the last movie i watched was precious.
i'm really looking forward to tim burton's alice in wonderland!
my favorite show is the office.
unfortunately, i forgot how i discovered menewsha.
perhaps it was while i was lurking on subeta or gaia online.

I agree completely, Harry Potter will always be greater than Twilight ;P I love Twilight and making fun of it as well. If you saw the first movie, did you watch the commentary on the DVD? It's actually quite funny, I love listening to Robert Pattinson make fun of himself and compare his eyebrows to Kristen Stewart's xD The guy may not be drop dead gorgeous, but he's pretty funny when he's not terrified of screaming fan girls attacking him.

Welcome to Menewsha! I'm sure you'll like it here :) If there's anything you hate about Gaia, that's probably /not/ a problem here, from what I've observed myself and from what I've heard others say xD Never heard of Subeta, before, though! May have to check that out ;P

I'm Jessica, by the way, but I don't expect anyone to remember that considering my username xD I'm contemplating changing it to something that seems more like a name, since I think we can change our username. Or maybe I'm thinking of a different site I wanted to do that on... ahh well. Welcome! xD

I agree, smaller communities are nicer because then you can actually get to know a few people, maybe, and not have a bazillion posts on everything to read.

GaiaOnline IS very crowded, and I do still like it because you can get your gold up more quickly and whatnot, buuut this does have a nicer feel, and I'm sure you'll like Menewsha if you like smaller communities :)

You definitely have to xD There are so many parts in there that made me laugh. It's not hysterical or anything, it's just so many commentaries are all BLAH, talking about how the film was made with no personality. Their personalities really shone through, they got caught saying minor cusses a few times, etc xD

Apparently they can be changed ;P I've been on a site that had a similar setup (in regards to profiles and account settings) that you could. I do like my username though, it's actually from a song by Atreyu. (I'm not huge on music where the artists scream, traditionally, but Her Portrait In Black /is/ a good one heh.)
