Thought I would come in here and say hi....umm...Hi!
Im normally a very quiet person, but will randomly spout nonsense that usually makes someone laugh.
Umm...I figure I could say a few things about myself, so here goes the top 3 important things about me: 1. Im training to become a Chef. If you have a food related question, dont hesitate, I may be able to help.
2. I play alot of video games. Some of the most recent ones(all on XBox) are: Dragon Age: Origins, Modern Warfare II, Army of Two, Lost Odyssey, and many many more(PM me if interested in gaming sometime)
3. A PENGUIN ATE MY BABY! - see? Randomness. Guess I really only had 2 things to put, but couldnt help myself.
Oh, and as to how I came to this site, a random banner advertisement while surfing the net.

Hi Draciolus, nice to meet you and welcome to Menewsha! What made you decide to train to be a chef? I love cheezy shows like Top Chef!

I think it was all the food that I prepared while working in different kitchens, it was all pre-cooked, frozen, thawed, and then cooked again before being served to the customers. I hated that idea, and wanted to cook everything fresh, and only use frozen stuff for deserts, or something that requires something you can only get frozen. And Top Chef isnt cheesy, its a good show, great ideas(I never thought of putting Bacon ontop of a sort of desert flan, Kevin sure rocked, I just wish he won it).

Maybe your better off now that the baby is gone...Hey Penguin's have to eat!
I like cooking, but I learned to cook in grad school really. My "study partners" were all Asian except for one person and he was a "Fabulous" gay guy. I cook oodles of Asian food as a result!
Sounds like you throw "joke grenades". My guy does that too. He'll be completely silent and then outta no where a HILARIOUS joke will occur. It's fun!

Hey hey! I'm new here, too, so we can be like... newb buddies or something XD
That's really cool that you're training to become a chef. When I'm in the mood to watch TV (which is hardly ever), I watch Food Network often XD As cool as I think it would be to be able to make amazing dishes and whatnot, I'm definitely not cut out for that kind of work, and I have a lot of respect for those who really work hard towards it. I wish you a lot of luck!!!
And randomness is totally cool :D

w00t! Beware the purple cheese monkeys!
I have a friend who's in school to become a chef. :D I can follow a recipe if I have enough time to make food like that, but I'm not so great at improvising or coming up with my own ideas. Strange things happen when I try to invent food...
Have I said welcome? HI! Welcome!! :D Waffles! <- I tried to nickname a co-worker this once...

Thank you for the welcome.
Did you know the purple cheese monkeys go prefectly with chips and salsa?
The food netword is one of the only stations I watch(the other being the Space Channel, and occasionaly whatever channel NCIS is on). Though, not all shows on the food network are good, almost anything with Ramsey I turn away from.
As for the nickname Waffles, we have someone in our graduating class we nicknamed Waffle. Im not sure how it happened, but I think it was in breakfast class where he splashed waffle batter all over himself right before buffet service.
The randomly coming up with a dish to be served is just something to take like painting, think of something that compliments whatever you are going to be cooking(or painting if you want to think of it that way)

Except when they're trying to take over your soul with peanut butter that is.
Hmm...food like a painting. Never really thought of it that way. Except I'm not all that great at painting. Unless it's supposed to be something big and somewhat blobby.
NCIS is CBS. :P Our local NBC news doesn't answer their e-mailz.... <_< grrr...meh...guess it wasn't all that important...if only the other DVD guy would get back to me...hey....is there a sports section here? I don't think I've seen one....*wanders off to search with unicorns*
