Well kinda like the uncle tries to warn his niece (can be anyone) and when they do its too late.

Something like this but I am up for anything really.

Quote:
“A Warning Too Late”

“He had warned her about the book-Now it was too late”

“Uncle” Kristina called out in the dark hallway of her Uncle’s big mansion that seemed empty. Kristina had a feeling that something wasn’t right about the mansion and was always snooping just to figure out what it was. Whenever she would get caught by anyone she would just say “Oh I am just exploring with my imaginary friend” and they would tell her to “Go on your way then” or “Another room now my dear” She loved to find new hidden secrets and always thought it was cool. Nonetheless there was one room she was forbidden to go in for any reason what so ever.
Peeking into the room that was forbidden she looked around her Uncle’s study “Uncle” she called out “Are you in here?” Kristina then jumped a little hearing something that sounded like books and papers falling. “Uncle?” she asked stepping in wondering what was going on. ‘Where could he be and what was that noise’ she thought to herself while quietly walking around his study which seemed to be the largest part of the whole house. Of course with a study that big, there would have been a window that let in a draft, because Kristina shivered feeling a cold breeze.
When Kristina got to the aisle she saw books on the ground with papers covered in red blood ink or something similar to it. When she looked up she saw a book on the bookcase by itself and went over to look at it. ‘Why would only one book stay while others had fallen’ Kristina wondered and pulling the book from the shelf but realized it seemed to be stuck there. She finally was able to pull it off the shelf after moments of tugging it. Then she saw a pair of wide eyes staring at her as a black, thin, dead looking hand let go of the book. Seeing those wide crazy eyes, and then noticing the creature grinning, as if something was going to happen to her.
The creature faded away and she looked down at the book ‘Death-Wish’ the book read in Latin. It was a good thing her Uncle knew Latin and taught her how to read it. She then realized the creature’s eyes that she saw fade away was now on the face of the book with its big sharp teeth smile. Kristina couldn’t keep quiet no longer and let out a high pitch, bloody scream. The book had then bit her arm for a few moments while she struggled and struggled to get loose. Finally the book had let go and fallen to the floor.
But for some reason it was going after her and she wasn’t about to let it get her. Even though the pain from seeing the teeth marks where the creature bit her and the blood running down, she didn’t scream again or cry very much. ‘Pain, pain, so much pain; I don’t feel so good’ Just as she was about to faint, her uncle came in and caught her “Kristina? Kristina, are you okay?” Her Uncle Vlad asked. “Uncle, what is that thing?” Kristina asked.
Her Uncle scanned the room seeing the book with its evil and terrifying face. “I don’t want you to go near that book again. Do you hear me, Kristina promise me you won’t go near that book ever again.” Her Uncle spoke and hearing her say “What a pretty white light, I can see mother and she is smiling.” Kristina smiled seeing her mother only through her eyes and then her eyes closed. “Kristina? Kristina! Stay with me Kristina, stay with me” was all Kristina could hear her Uncle say.
“Oh no” Her Uncle said seeing the blood and bite marks on her arm close to her wrist. Uncle Vlad finally realized even though he warned his niece to never go near that book again. That now it was too late and she was gone forever up in the heavens with her mother who died the same way almost 14 years ago. A burying ceremony was held for Kristina to be laid next to her mother and father and sisters.
The priest spoke “My follow friends and family. We are here to come together to wish this young girl a safe and happy trip to heaven for an unfortunate accident which accured last night. I am sorry to say this young girl lost her life while going through her Uncle’s study and being attacked by a demon of unknown sorts. Kristina Eloise Crescent was a lovely child who was always looking for secrets and adventure. She-” Before the priest could finish his sentence, storm clouds rolled in, the wind picking up, and a noise of clawing could be heard from underneath the ground.
Just as people started to panic, a book fell from the sky; the same book which killed young Kristina now made her claw her way out of her grave and ready to kill for vengeance. Her long blond hair was now dirty and messy. Her once lovely aqua eyes now a very dark sea blue with an emotionless look to them. Her light but not pale skin but now as white as a corpse and her skin was colder than ice to the touch as other dead bodies rose up from their graves following her command.
“Kill and Kill” was all she said as the rotting smell and image of the corpse killed off the humans one by one knowing they would become just like them. Kristina had watched and then saw her Uncle “Why didn’t you save me Uncle” Kristina said as she knew she would be torturing him since he didn’t know how to save her but now she was gone. Vlad knew his niece no longer existed and started chanting something that the book didn’t seem to enjoy at all since it was now running to him.
Kristina picked up the book and let her uncle finish his chant which made everyone who was dead to go back to resting, the book catching on fire, and his life was now taken by this powerful spell as the consequence. Laying there all around dead bodies and short of breath, ready to die. Vlad just stared at the sky and then saw a light. He saw his sister which was Kristina’s mother and Kristina herself grabbing one hand each and taking his soul to heaven with theirs.

That is the story of the Uncle who tried to save his niece but was too late and lost his own life to save all those souls. The End…or is it?
