You should probably go to a card shop, or check prices on e-bay to see how much each card is worth.

I'm going to do this with my old Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. I'd recommend looking up a base price for regular cards, then pricing your rares and holos individually.

I don't know how much old cards go for anymore. All I know is, they can't be used to play the card game anymore, at least not officially. So they may not go for all that much. Then again, if someone is just buying them collection purposes, you never know. Sometimes people who collect things pay ridiculous amounts. XD

You're not going to get much for them. Like Vickicat mentioned, they're no longer playable, so they're really sort of useless now. There's also a TON of them out there since so many people used to collect and have since lost interest. Just to give you an idea, there's a Charizard on Ebay ending in an hour, with a bid of just over $2.
You may be able to get a decent amount for the tins... I don't know much about newer card prices.

No idea how much they'd go for, but seeing as how they're all rare and old school, my common sense powers are telling me that you could probably get a fair amount for them.
Aw, this reminds me of that holographic Blastoise card I lost when I was a kiddo. I'm bummed now.

I have no idea how the cards work. I used to collect them but as I was cleaning my room not long ago I threw my entire binder of them out only to be told later by one of my friends I forget who exactly that I could have sold them. >_<
Not that I go to those places often though it would probably STILL be cluttering my room.

I've no idea of the value of cards, and while i collected pokemon ones i was a fairly passive collector, so i don't have large amounts. I never learnt how to play them, but i still liked to have them.
As people suggested, i'd check ebay for prices.

Pokemon cards don't go for much at all anymore, sadly...you used to find Charizards for up to $100, depending on the card...but now, you'll be lucky to get a few dollars for it from super-collectors.
Locate prices on E-bay, regardless. It's worth a shot, especially with that many cards. ^^
