He checked his pocket watch: late. Again. He was always late, especially if it was important. Sighing, he blew his soft white hair out of his face. Glancing around him, he scanned the moist dirt tunnel that faded off into the distance.
Grabbing a glowing orb that served as a lantern, he began to walk down the tunnel. It was time to gather the berries for his afternoon pie.


((Okay, here's the deal: I need an "Alice" for the story. :D Someone I can guide through in my own time (AKA doesn't mind if the story is WAY different than the original. I can mix it up pretty darn good, y'know?). So... I don't care what "style" you go with, but I would love a girl who can really play it up. :heart:

The next scene will be "Alice" seeing the "Rabbit" and following him down the "Rabbit Hole".))

Alita heads out from the house and over to her favorite tree in the garden, she sits on the ground crossing her legs. She sighs as she reaches into her little black bag and pulls out her music player, placing the earplugs into her ears.

As she flips through the songs trying to find something to listen to she notices some white moves in the bushes. She stares for a bit and then decides to get up and follow. She stands up wipes the dirt off her clothes placing her bag over her shoulder and heads over to where she saw the white figure, following it as best as she can.

He had been gathering berries for about five minutes before he heard something coming closer. Freezing, he held his hand in mid-air above the bush. His large brown eyes flickered toward the figure approaching him, his pale hair blowing into his face. The soft locks tickled his nose, and he tried in vain to hold back a sneeze. The outburst was louder than ever, seeming to echo about the garden.
"Oh good gracious me," he muttered, sighing. He pushed his glasses back up the bridge of his nose and stood up to his full height. Brushing the leaves and twigs from his white suit, he tugged out his pocket watch and checked the time. "I'm late," he groaned, snapping the silver watch closed. He scooped up the basket that held his recent gathering and turned to head home. It was then that he saw her.
He stood stone still, his fluffy white hair blowing in the breeze as he watched her watch him back.

Alita stops as she spots the thing she saw. She slowly took another step closer trying hard to believe in what she saw. She reaches up slowly and pulls the earplugs out of her ears as she slowly wraps the cord around the player placing it back in her bag.

She clears her throat a bit before she speaks "You're late? But how can that matter when you are in my garden, Let alone why are you in my garden?" she stares at him.

((Just to clarify, he looks completely human (well, mostly). LOL, he's just odd.))

"How can you ask if it matters?" he seemed flabbergasted. "It matters a lot, if you life is involved, be it in your garden or elsewhere!"
The pale man stood tall, taking the basket in his arms and turning around. "I'm in your garden? What makes this your garden?" He shifted the berries in his arms before glancing back at her, shoving his glasses up his nose again as they slipped down. "I come into my garden often, if just to gather food. If it is your garden, how come you have never noticed me in it? I come out here every day around this time."
Slowly he began to walk back the way he had come, turning his large brown eyes to the path in front of him.

Umm.. hello I read your post and saw that it was about Alice in wonder land and thought that it was a great Idea and was wondering how to you RP along to go with the story is it going to cost any thing?

This is my fisr time replying is an RP forum and I'm not sure on how the rules go and what to follow in order to do things right so if I decide to stick with your forum can I trust you to help me when I need you most?

Alita continues to stare at the man "I consider it my garden since its my parents land" she huffs and steps closer "And maybe cause i'm not much of an outside person, and when i am i'm usually listening to my music" She moves closer as she follows him "Who are you anyways?"

"Your garden," he snorted, shaking his head. "You Surface Dwellers always get things mixed up!"
He continued through the garden, snagging the occassional flower or herb as they walked quickly. "I am Rabbit," he stated a few moments after she asked for his name. "And it's very rude to stare." He narrowed his large brown eyes and pursed his lips. His whispy pale hair flew about his pale face as he watched her plod along after him.
Rabbit sighed. "Are you going to ask where we're going? They always do."

Yin looked over to Yang "My, My, I wonder whats taking him so long today?"he said with a sigh.
"Why are you asking me?It's not like i'm with him to know"he replied getting up and walking around in a circle then sitting back in the exact same place as before.
Yin shook his head "You don't have to get all snippy about it I was just trying to start some conversation." he said putting an earinig in his left ear. Altough it was not one that matched the one in the right ear.

"But my dear twins, he is ALWAYS late." A female voice purred from seemingly nowhere. "If he wasn't, would he be our dear 'Rabbit'?" A figure, invisible not a moment before, slid from between the trees. Dusty brown hair fell down to her shoulders, marred with stripes of a darker, nearly black brown in small intervals. Her golden eyes sparkled in the low light of the forest.

Alita looks away from Rabbit, as she re-positions the bag she is carrying. "What do you mean where we are going?" She looks around noticing she is still in the garden "As far as I can tell we are still in the garden." She stops for a few looking around again, not seeing her house or anything else familiar around her "OK...maybe I am curious as to where you are going?" she smiles sweetly and she jogs a bit to catch back up to him.

Rabbit smiled a bit, twitching his nose. "Ah, that's better," he stepped over to an abnormally large hole in the side of a hill. "We are going to my home. Or, better yet, we are going to another world entirely." The tall man emphasized strange words whenever he spoke, his large brown eyes unblinking behind his thin glasses.
Stepping up to the round green door, he pushed it open with one foot. "Welcome, young Alita, to the Rabbit Hole." Random objects appeared to be stuck in the dirt walls: teacups, playing cards, umbrellas, glass roses, and - most of all - many different kinds of clocks. Looking farther down the tunnel, one could see nothing beyond the soft glow of a luminescent orb.
The white rabbit continued on into the strange darkness, motioning toward a glowing stone as he walked. "Grab that for me, would you?"

Alita's eyes open wide when she saw the hole and continued as she saw inside the hole "Another world?" she peeked her head in a bit glancing around "Is there a reason there are items sticking out of the dirt?" she moves her hand and pokes at a a few of the items. Alita looked down at the glowing stone "What does it do?" she poked at it lightly with one of her fingers "Will it doe something if i pick it up?"

Rabbit clicked his tongue lightly, amusement on his pale face. "The stone will continue to glow," he said stepping farther into the darkness. "Just as it always has." He shifted his basket in his arms, his large eyes flickering to one of the many clocks. "My, my, look at the time." Turning back to Alita, Rabbit blew his shaggy white hair out of his face. "I'm running a bit behind, so if you don't mind. . . ."

Alita looked up at him again then back at the stone, reaching and quickly grabs it "Sorry!" she rushes ahead trying not to trip to keep up with Rabbit. "What are you late for?" she continues to look around as she follows him, eying things as she passes.

"Oh, what I'm late for every day," he sighed, his eyes filling with futility. "But that, young Alita, is none of your concern." The two of them suddenly arrived in a small home-like dwelling. Still made of caked dirt and random objects, there was a stove and bed along one wall.
Placing the basket of berries down beside the bed, Rabbit pointed to the messy blankets. "If you don't mind, the stone sits there." With that, the tall man went about and grabbed a small scroll from the wall, as well as a second watch. Shoving it all into one of his pockets, Rabbit stepped quickly over to a random sink and splashed his pale face with water.
Wiping his thin hands off on a towel that hung from a stick protruding from the wall, he looked back over to the young woman. "I have to hurry," he said quickly, "you should stay here in my burrow until I return. You'll get lost if you try to get back to the surface."
Straightening his white suit, he nodded to Alita and dashed over to a small door that almost seemed too tiny for him to fit through. Miraculously, Rabbit made it through, and closed the door behind him.

((We all know that "Alice" will follow, eh? LOL, be ready Wonderland-dwellers! Here comes our only sane individual!))

She walks over to the blankets putting down the stone as watches him move around the room fascinated. "I suppose I don't have a choice in if i stay or not" She takes a seat on the floor watching him still. As soon as she see's him exit the door she gets up and wipes the dirt off her clothes again, as she sneaks over to the door quickly and quietly as she opens it a crack peeking out then smiles as she sneaks out the door when he is still in sight to follow and closes it behind her, still being quiet as she tries to follow him.

"Late," Rabbit mumbled, quickening his pace, "Always late."
He headed past strange forest of brightly colored mushrooms and into the trees that were so tall you couldn't see the tops. Speeding up again, the pale man began to trot along with seemingly no direction in mind. This way and that, making sharp turns and circling around certain trees, stopping to knock on a couple branches - Rabbit flitted about randomly.
"She'll have my head," he said, muttering under his breath. "Of which I intend to keep a while longer, thank you."
The busy creature failed to notice the girl slip out after him, trailing him quietly as he bounded along.

((Erm. Just to ask... what happens next in the story? :XD It doesn't have to happen in here, but I'd like to know. It's been a long while since I've seen the movie/read the story.))

Alita did her best to keep up, as she was running to keep up she tripped over something or someone and landed on her knees. She sat up and rubbed her knees softly looking ahead "Dang i lost him" she sighs as she sits there looking around the strange place. "Now what am i suppose to do" she took a deep breath as she continued to look around her.

((lol its been so long for me as well, i don't even remember either, and currently the only copy i have sitting near me at the moment is the Grimm Brothers version lol))

Yin looked up as the girl spoke."Ah yes, So true i'd have to worry if he was on time as well."he let out a exprasterd sigh.
"I don't see why we sit here and wait on him all day, any way ."yang said with a grumpy tone.

((I think if any of us KNEW what was going to happen, it wouldn't be a proper Alice in Wonderland))

"We sit here and wait, Yang," The woman started, "Because we follow Rabbit. It's how he is. He's a leader... whether he wants to be one or not." She nimbly leapt onto a nearby tree branch, settling down and examining her nails. "I don't know why you bother asking, we only do this every day." She glanced down. "Oh, and in case anyone is wondering, I've decided on my name for the moment. It's Cecilia."

While this name may not have made sense to most, it certainly worked in The Cat's logic:

Cecelia, often shortened to 'CiCi,' or "CC," which could, in turn, be lengthened again to her true nature and name.

"Yeah, Yeah, Whatever Cecilia"he replied then got up and walked off.
"My,My someone is in a bad mood today!"Yin taunted."Everyday it's the same grouchy, grouchy, grouchy. He must sleep on a bed of nails!"he said with a sight .then laughed "Oh yeah thats right he does."he said as he continued to laugh.
"Whatever."Yang muttered before walking off completely.Yang stoped as he saw a strange girl he didn't know looking around like she was lost.

The woman in the top hat listened quietly to the argument between two of her companions. She quietly sipped her tea as she watched Yang storm off, he was usually like that. She wondered when she could get home, this meeting was getting dull and she believed she would start falling asleep like Dooromouse does. But the tea was good today, hopefully it would last until Rabbit arrived.

A pair of bright yellow eyes gazed at Alita from the darkness, and a soft laugh broke the silence.
"Where you trying to follow Rabbit?" a child-like voice called. The small form shifted in the shadows, keeping hidden - all except for the glowing eyes.

((Well... best I can think of at the time! LOL, and welcome the Mad Hatter! Woot! ^_^ From this point on, I'm going to ask that no one else joins our thread (except April), otherwise it'll get too chaotic. So... ask me if you want to make alternate characters, but we're gonna lock out any newcomers from this point forward. :XD))
