Yui sat by the lake staring out towards the water she had already finished her summer reading and really was itching to get her hands on another book. Sadly, for her, she had only brought that one with her since she foolishly believed her mother when she said that her time would be full of “fun camp like activities”. What those were exactly everyone had failed to mention. Apparently they not only included swimming and going on hikes but also poison ivy and snakes. Neither of those two things fall under her list of fun activities. She knows it would be better if she could just get her hands on another book. She pushed aside the idea of walking into the nearest town, the last things she needs is for people to think she went missing. Letting her fall back against the rock she was sitting on she watches the sky and though she pushes it in the back of her mind she could swear she saw a flash of color, like purple which is a very un- sky like color.
The black haired teen, who on occasion would respond to the name Arata, was currently sitting on his bed having a staring contest with the ceiling. It was aggravating to him that he was losing to a bunch of boards nailed together but what else had he expected. He had been sent back to his cabin for being a little to competitive on the basketball court. It really wasn’t his fault; the kid should have been paying attention and moved out of his way. If the kid had used his head then he wouldn’t be bleeding. He couldn’t see the point in being punished for someone else’s mistake. Rolling out of the bed with a tired and slightly guilt ridden groan Arata headed outside to find the kid and apologize. When he started playing anything, even something as simple as thumb wars, his competitive nature just shown through and sometime in violent ways.
(sorry it’s short but I wanted to finally put something up. I’ve only been able to get on through my ipod and it sucks typing on that. We can just name our Digimon when we get there.))

Amelia was really enjoying her time at camp, particularly the long hikes they had to offer. Already she'd been on two and would always come back with a grazed knee or a bruised something or other. It wasn't that she was clumsy, she just got a little over excited once she saw something she liked the look of. For instance, that morning she'd spotted something peculiar in the forest surrounding the camp and had gone to explore. She returned empty handed, her clothing was covered in dirt and she'd gained a small cut on her cheek. But whatever she'd seen in the forest had vanished and shortly after stepping back into camp, something caught her attention in the sky. A flash of purple? Nah, maybe she'd just been imagining it? Had to have been. Sky wasn't purple, was it? Only in her drawings when none of her blues were sharpened.
Alexis was far too busy trying to beat the boys at football. Most were taller or more skilled than she was, but that wasn't stopping her and she was proving to be quite the pain in the behind to keep up with. Getting the ball from the other team was easy, but she refused to pass to anyone on her own team which meant they weren't able to score. Okay.. she was a little competetive but nobody had really explained the rules to her. But she was having fun and thats all that mattered. The camp leader keeping an eye on the match had long since given up trying to get her to pass.

Yui glared at the sky as if the random flash of unnatural color had some how personally offended her.She didn't like it when things happened outside of her knowledge, and she was certainly clueless about color changing skies. It was more something out of one of her fantasy novel.Pushing herself into ta leaning position she rested her weight on her arms. Her paperback book lay forgotten on the rock next to her.She gave the sky one move dissatisfied glare before she let her upper body fall backwards onto the rock as a cool breeze floated by the lake. It was an oddly cold wind for such a warm day, but nature had always been slightly confusing to the blue eyes teen so she simply pushed it aside as freak weather. When her legs began to goose-bump due to the wind the blond let out an annoyed sigh and sat up. She froze mid way one hand resting on the rock behind her while the other put pressure on her leg to help the rest of her up. Now she was sure that she wasn't imagining it- or if she was she had plans on checking her self into the nearest psyc ward-the sky was light up with multiple colors and they looked as if they were moving."no...not happening."Since her eye were glued to the odd phenomena above her she didn't miss the four beams of light that shot down toward the earth. Even though she watched it land she still jumped away when the small piece of, what she supposed was a, meteor punctured a hole in the rock she was just sitting at. Taking a deep breath and reminding herself that she had most likely lost her mind and this was all some whacked out fantasy she made her way over to the crater. When she pale hand grasp the small metal object it was confirmed that Yui Takioshi had lost her mind. "A Pager?...the sky is beaming down Pagers?"((it's what they always looked like to me))
The walk from his cabin was deserted of people, which was slightly depressing since Arata like being surrounded by tons of people, which was expected so close to the forest and the lake. Though right now he was kind of grateful for the lack of humanoids. He needed to go apologize to the nameless kid he had injured but that meant swallowing his pride. And as that was something he could easily do while he was laying alone on his bunk loosing a contest with an inanimate object , doing it in front of others or even just one person had him hesitating. Years of competing with his two older brothers had in graved an almost bipolar need to always come out on top.Kicking a stone he shoved his hands into the pockets of his pants.Glancing around he caught sight of a red haired girl coming out of the woods and raised his hand in greeting to her. He had seen her around, since she was in his age group, but didn't remember her name. Not that he remembered many of the kids he had met so far, only the older ones or the ones who played sports. Taking a deep breath of the fresh out door air he began walking again. If he wanted to play in any of the future games he was going to have to make nice with the one he hurt. "Some kids are big baby's." In his mind if you were going to play a sport then you should expect to lose some blood. He missed all of the signs, he didn't even register that the wind was colder then it should have been or that it had picked up, he didn't seen to pay any attention to the sky that had suddenly started to look the the ceiling of a rave but when the falling piece of metal crashed into the ground in front of him Arata noticed. He noticed so much that though he would deny it till the day he died he let out a little scream that came close to the pitch of a small girl. To regain some part of his dignity he didn't flinch away when the thing in the hole started to glow, instead he reached in and plucked it out. A very confused looked found it's way onto his face, he coudln't even fathom what it was. His mind was forced to forgo the mental search for what the item in his hand might be with the green eyed boy felt the earth under him shake as if there was about to be an earthquake.
