BIO: Is a History teacher who would rather teach Philosophy. Is very calm and quiet, but can be harsh and caustic when he wants to be.

Bella sat down in the front of her History class. She looked up at the board as she waited for class to start.

Nero was sitting behind his desk, sifting through some papers. It was the first day of school, and it was his first day at this particular school. He had moved here from Italy.

He sat up more in his desk and looked around at his class, blue eyes flickering from student to student. He sincerely hoped that none of them were disruptive and rowdy.

Bella looked down at her book and began to read. She was shy and did not want to be in the center of attention

As soon as most of the class was filed in, the bell--it was very nasal and annoying--rang. The very moment it did, Nero stood up.

"Hello, class," he greeted, adjusting his glasses. He only needed them to read, but preferred to keep them on all the time, especially while he was teaching. He had a slightly heavy Italian accent. "Welcome back. My name is Mr. Vittorio. But, enough with being formal. I'd actually prefer it if you all called me by my first name, Nero. I would like the class to stand up and introduce themselves, providing a name, something you like to do, and an interesting fact about yourself."

He shifted a bit. "I will go first. As I said, my name is Nero. I enjoy reading, and I just moved here from Venice."

As soon as he finished, he went around the room, having all the students introduce themselves. He reached Bella about halfway through the session.

Bella blushed a bit from her shyness. " Umm hello I am Bella I play the Violin and the paino."
Bella finished glad to be done talking and everyone was finished having there eyes on her.

Nero hummed a bit, surprised. "Ah, the first musician in the class. I am pleased to meet you, Bella."

As soon as everyone had introduced themselves and re-settled everyone into their seats, Nero rose from his chair. He was tall--slightly taller than the average male. "I hope you all like Italian History. I thought I would give you a little overview, seeing as I am from Italy."

And so, he proceeded to give his class a little overview of Italian History, starting with the Roman Empire.

Italian History bored Bella so she mostly day dreamed rather then pay attention.

Halfway into his lesson, the bell rang. He was surprised by how quickly time flew.

"No homework. You will get your books tomorrow," he informed them idly as they filed out, seeming bored by Italian History, as well.

Bella left the class quietly and went to lunch where she sat alone.

Nero didn't have a class this period, so he also made it his lunch period. He wandered off to the cafeteria to see what sort of food they had--he had forgotten to pack something.

She sat at the table alone taking her sandwich out of her lunchbox. She noticed that everyone was sitting with someone.

Nero wasn't all that hungry. So, he just purchased an apple and some iced tea. There was a table for teachers in the back of the cafeteria, and it was usually empty, so he sat there to eat.

Bella finished her food and went outside and walked to a tree and sat down. She looked at the grass and smiled it was so peaceful and beautiful outside

Nero ate his food slowly, calmly. He watched as some students went to the outside eating area to play around and eat out in the sunlight. He thought he might go for a walk out there, to relax and watch for misbehaving students.

Bella saw a couple of boys come over to her. One of them grabbed her arm and began to squeeze it. "Bella screamed in pain " let go" The boy smirked " or what?" ( make them interact more.....like if she is some where alone make him be there to)

((I will--I just don't like rushing the storyline or always keeping them at the same place at the same time. I like to build 'em up, starting with some sort of confrontation.))

After finishing his...well, it wasn't really a lunch, but...lunch, he recycled the plastic bottle and headed outside. While walking over near the trees, he noticed a couple of boys taunting and grabbing at one of their female classmates. Irritated, he separated them.

"Young men. I suggest you leave. Unless you would like me to escort you to the principal's office?"

Bella frowned why were they bothering her it was her first day......"Thank you " she said to her teacher as he defended her.

"It is no trouble. There is no excuse for bullying of any kind," Nero replied, nodding. As far as he had seen, there had been no provocation...which meant the boys' bullying had not been justified.

Bella nodded and then said good bye and walked away. She went into the girls bathroom and sat in the stall and began to cry she hated when she was bullied it hurt her badly inside all the time.

Nero sighed, running a hand through his hair. She had seemed upset...he hoped she would be all right.

Bella wiped her tears and left the bathroom. She went to her locker and got her books for her next class

Nero, once the bell rang, headed back inside to his classroom for his next class.
