Hi there! Call me Adella <3 I love Art. I'm an art major.But I also love music and writing.
I'm gonna go the extra mile and answer all your questions. Care about lengthy posts much?

* What is you favorite genre/brand/style?

-For Music: Rock! For literature: Fiction Fiction Fiction! For Art: Surrealism and conceptual design!

* What is your favorite medium to work in?

I love to work in Watercolors and Oils, but lately I've been dabbling in digital art.

* Why did you take up _____ in the first place?

I took up writing and art when I was really young. I can thank my mama and daddy for always letting me make a mess! I decided to major in it because I feel like I can speak through images much easier than I can through words

* What are you working on?

Currently I'm working on writing a book. Been trying for years and I'm only 19. As far as art goes, I'm working on learning digital art and I've been wanting to do a series of paintings for a while.

* Who is your favorite artist/author/singer/designer?

I think my favorite modern artist still alive is Camille Rose Garcia. Her work is so adorably demented. Other than that I think Salvador Dali is wonderful and MC Escher is amazing. Author: I'd have to say Libba Bray. Singer, I'm more leaning towards a band called 10 years and one named Fireflight.

* Do you consider something art that others might not?

I believe if it means something to you, if you get some kind of significance from it or if you find it aesthetically appealing then it's art.

* Where do you get your ideas?

It's totally random for my art and writing. I can get an idea from something I read or from a lecture in one class or another class. I get ideas riding to and from the dorm while looking at the shapes of clouds. Sometimes I get ideas from music and I get ideas while talking to my parents or my fiance. I get ideas while being intimate and I get ideas while I'm alone and being pensive.

* What's the most fun about what you do?

I get to make a mess. I get to create. I get to use my hands and my brain. I get to use a bunch of colors and make something look interesting. I get to make someone go "wow that looks so neat, I love it!" And I get to make people think.

* How has art changed your life?

Wow...how has it not? I didn't really fall in love with art until I was in like 10th grade when I took my first art class. Art is very underappreciated where i live. But I found out that I can do so much more than my scribblings in sketch books. I found out my love for watercolor and I havent stopped being creative since. It's helped me break down walls and open up. Its an outlet for me. So if I'm feeling wonderful and blissful and in love or if I'm feeling sad, depressed, or angry I can pour all those emotions out onto canvas and make my audience wonder "now what was she thinking?"

I can write normal stuff too but i always end up dragging it into the 18+ range for some reason.

i dont have near enough imagination for that kind of writing...or experience...I don't really watch porn or anything like that XD i think it's kinda weird...so I dunno how to get graphic with the words. I might have several bedroom tales with me and my fiance, but hehe....those are my little secrets ^_~ i'll stick with making everything ambiguous and have questionmarks over everyones noggins.

Porn kills imagination. Most writers of erotica and the likes don't even watch porn.

*nods* I always saw porn as fake. My ex-roommate loved her porn...most of it was Yaoi...live action yaoi. Aye...it was slightly perturbing...She always said it was because it was funny and she liked to laugh at it...but i sometimes wonder.

Porn is fun to make fun of, it's rare that I ever actually use porn for it's intention. Though I guess people could say erotica is hilarious as well if you really think about it.

I am so jealous of you, Hope! (It's okay to call you that? I could use Love instead) I want to go to Ireland someday. There's a study abroad program for it at my school. I just need the money for it... It's such a beautiful place, and your photographs definitely show it!

Adellademona, you have a really interesting style. I've never done collages, myself, but I like yours.

Mostly I write, poetry and stories that usually end up getting discarded after the first five pages. I also tend to doodle in class. I also like to sing, putting different spins on songs.

I just thought of something! If it's okay with you guys, I'd like to put links to your work on the first page. You have to give me permission though, because I wouldn't want to do it without it.
