We all have those preferences for what we like to read and see in comic books. Some catch our attentions while others seem boring and we aren't interested in them at all.

What do you like to see in Comic books?

A hero that everyone loves that always saves the day?

Or how about a super villain that just will not go away?

Do like it to be all serious, or do you like some comedy thrown in?

Do you prefer colors over black and white? Or vice versa?

What kind of characters do you like to do in Comic books?

Do you prefer a strong male lead or a strong female lead character?

How about a little romance? Do you like seeing that in comic book stories?

I myself enjoy them to be colored, but black and white is okay. I also like a super villain that conquers the protagonists plans of destroying him/her. I think female villains are sexy. ;) Seriously though, I think a strong female villain is pretty great. I do also enjoy super heroes that keep their identity hidden, like Spiderman or Superman, though I don't particularly read those. And romance in comic books can be nice. It spices up the whole storyline for me and provides it with more of a purpose, in my opinion.

I love the series The Runaways by Marvel. I only read the first five or so before I stopped seeing them at the library. No money to buy them from comic book stores. Y_Y
The ones with comedy in them are great! It is always great to laugh.
Strong female characters are great! For males, they would have to be the sexy, loner types (Matt from Digimon! Yeah, I know it is not a comic, but that's what I think of) or the sexy, pretty boy types who are sensitive (Oran High School guys! ).

i love black and white graphic novels. i tend to lean to the undergroud indie type of stuff that tell of coming of age stories. something that just really hits home and shakes your very core. :3
Craig Thompson's Blankets is a great example of what i enjoy most.

I am indifferent to if it should be a male or female lead, as long as it is well written and deep.
