Misa sighed getting off the bus. She was egaer if anything to start the first day of boarding school. Snakara's Academy was said to be a great place. Still Misa was nervous...she wasn't quite human...but not quite a legendary.

And that made her and outcast. She looked around lost.

Emmet hopped onto the stairs with a little chuckle, chipperly whistling as his mind wandered off in his own little world.
Ok, first day back at school. Big smiles! Lots of reunions and stuff for those who had gone home for summer. Oh happy day! Ok. Minus the school. God he hated school. Hate. Hate. Hate. But at least he would get to see everyone again. It was always lonely at the academy without his buddies. They didnt have to be locked up in this prison of books and evil cafeteria food all year. Ok, it wasn't that bad as far as schools go, actually very good. But still, it was a school requirement to complain about the food, and he was a pro, he ate all of it anyway though. But now was not the time for fun and games. Oh no. Now they would have to be in the midst of EVIL LEARNING! DUN DUN DUUUUN!! Algebra, math! Text books as far as the eyes could see! Homework and pop quizzes every day! Its anarchy i tell you! ANARCHY!!!
Did I mention he Hates school?
As Emmet was having a mental monster attack that was the evil beast learning, he completely forgot that he was not in fact the only one in the courtyard and rammed straight into another student. Falling back dramatically and spilling his books all around, he and the girl colided with almost comical force. Picking himself, and her books, up he stammered and apologized frantically.
"Oh my gosh! Im so sorry!" He blubbered.

Misa blushed dusting herself off as she looked down scambling to pick up the rest of her books. "Ah...no...it's fine...I should have been paying more attention...but I'm new...and got distracted and....yeah.." Misa ended lamely as she shuffled her feet.

She didn't like being the new kid. She felt shunned and cut off. Especially without her sister and best friend. Nope being new sucked...

Upon hearing her Emmet perked up extraordinarily quick. Quickly returning all her books to her, he straightened up and hopped in front of her cheerily. Leaning in to her a little, his big pinkish read eyes glittering with curiosity, he grinned at her with a huge smile.
"Ooooh so your new!?" He prodded and grabbed onto her arms with one pale white hand, "Well you've knocked over the right person! Because Iiiii am the EXPERT on this school!" he said proudly.

"Uh...oh th-thats....good!" Misa said shyly and a bit startled at the fact that he grabed her she looked up at him slowly careful not to look directly into his eyes. Until she saw their color. Red. Like blood...of dead... Misa thought and let a small gasp as she stared directly into his eyes and to his soul.

Luckily it was pure. She shook her head looking straight down at the ground. "Sorry didn't mean to stare..." She took a sideways glance at him, "You're albino right? That's really cool..." She said earnestly.

"Yup! Albino boy! Only one in the school and proud of it. Though 'Cool' isnt exactly the word I would use," He laughed, "I get as red as a lobster in the sun"
Emmet let out another chuckle and smiled goofily "But the eyes are pretty bad ass!"
He liked her. She was shy. He usually didn't like shy people, too much trouble to get rilled up. But something about this girl just screamed interesting. NO and not in the evil villain style "iiiinteresting." No. Like an enigma or something like that. Usually he didnt like headcases eather though. Too many puzzles to unravel in their unusual brains. But that didnt mean that he didnt have some out there friends. Why not one more.

Misa laughed shly and smiled at him. "Yeah they are...oh...and not to be rude but if you are such and expert could you maybe show me to my room?" She asked looking down with a blush. "You don't have to if you don't want to..." She smiled.

"Oh dont worry about it!" He chirped, "Id love to! Its my pleasure little lady!"
Emmet giggled happily and grabbed the girl by the arm. The two of them scurried up the stairs together, all the while Emmet was grinning like an idiot.

"okay room 314 then please!" She smiled as he pulled her along. She was happy she found a friend already. Misa laughed but it died in her throat when they came to the main hall. It was filled with people. She shivered letting out a small whimper. She dropped her eyes to her shoes staring at them. She felt them all. All of them staring at her. Their eyes. Probing begging. Their energy flowing to her. She whimpered again. Her mind eye spun. Taking in thoughts emotions the works. Too much. Too much. She thought weakly her pupils dialteing ten fold.

She took a shaky breath.

The main hall was an elegantly beautiful place. All around there were chairs and fine furniture of all shapes and sizes for all those who came to the school, for not all could fit in a simple lazy boy. Above them was a bridge-like balcony made of polished ivory marble, so smooth you could see yourself in it, and dangling just below the cieling was a gold and crystal chandelier. Beyond it was the lounge with a TV, that wasnt a real television rather a stage were the characters from the television appeared in some form of magical hologram. Not to mention the reception desk, which wasn't very exiting at all. And last but not least on the largest wall of the room held a golden plaque that took up the entire wall. It was huge and dazzlingly beautiful, sculptures of men and beasts alike seemed to materialize out of the embroidery that showed the name of the school as if it was the very name of a god. But the most stunning thing about it was the orbs of blue light that danced all around the golden surface, disappearing and reappearing out of seemingly no where.
The students and faculty didnt seem to notice that it was strangely a bit too elegant for a school and went on their ways. Witches, wizards, elves, fairies,pixies, centaurs, dragons, everything you could possibly dream was roaming the halls. Most of them where students, no one even paid attention to the rather dorky looking albino boy shoving a girl though the halls happily. Normal was not common here after all.
Emmet didnt notice Misa's obvious discomfort as they went though the halls. He was far too happy with his new buddy to notice, or you might just call her a rag doll by the way he was dragging her along.

"I-it's huge..." Misa sighed her eyes wide as she looked around. "Wow...." She said breathlessly as Emmet dragged her along. She smiled despite herself. It was truly amazing. And the Tv incredible she would have to ask how that worked. She looked at a group of students who were all huddled and talking like great friends. Their were Faries with wings. And so many centaurs. It was all to much.

But dispite her joy at all she was seeing she still felt uneasy. Too many people. She sighed coming to a conclusion.

"Yea its great isnt it!?" Emmet chirped, "I wonder where they get the money for all this eh?"
He chuckled heartily and kept on dragging her though the halls. Only this time he did notice that the girl was just a bit off. A little. Not much. Ok. Alot. But still. He wasnt stupid. I think.
"Are you ok?" He asked a little worried.

"Uh....yeah kinda....no..." Misa said with a sigh. "It's just all the people its....its not good for me..." She gave a weak smile, "I'll be okay though...just once we get past all these people..."

"What...You claustrophobic or something?" Emmet asked and picked up the pace so that they would get the heck out of the croud faster.

"Uh...sorta...I guess you could say that..." Misa chuckled. It wasn't completely true but close enough. After all it was close. Maybe she was after all. Either way she was grateful that they were now moving at a faster pace to get out of the hall.

"Oh ok that makes seance then!" He said and scrambled past a group of Minotaurs smoking in the halls. Damn it give me lung cancer why don't ya? Couldn't they just have done that outside? It really isnt all that hard fellas!, He thought bitterly.
Lucky for both of them it didnt take much time at all for them to get though the, now smokey, halls and reach the girls dormitory's. Thank goodness that the hall monitors where too busy helping people get settled in that the didnt notice a boy was in the girls wing. Detention on the first day. That would suck. But it wouldnt be the first time sooo...he didnt really care. So there they stood at Room 314 without getting detention. Hurray!

Misa sighed happily, "Thanks for getting me here....uh my name is Misa...." She smiled holding out her hand with a slight pause wondering if toughing him was really such a good idea. But she decided it was. "And you are?" She asked kindly.

Emmet took her hand happily and shook it with more force than necessary. But what can i say? He was exited.
"Name's Emmet! Just Emmet," He said with a big goofy grin.

Misa smiled shaking it firmly in turn, "It's nice to meet you Emmet!" She smiled her eyes could tell his aura was pure and just. She felt the flow of energy pass through his skin flowing into her. Misa let go of his hand. Not wanting to drain him of his energy.

"So what classes are you in?" Misa asked still smiling her eyes shyly meeting his. Now knowing he was pure she felt no fear in holding his gaze.

Likewise! Um im taking...Biology II, World and Magical Culture, Pshycology, Gym, and Algebra...you know the usual stuf..."he shrugged, "Im not really taking anything special this year since Im gonna be a junior next year i thought id take it easy. Wouldnt want to work too hard now would I?"

Misa laughed, "No I supose not...I guess were in the same grade....our classes sound about the same." She pulled out at piece of paper, "Let's see..." She read over the paper for a moment before saying with a sigh.

"I have Chemistry, Biology II, Psychology, Gym, Honors Geometry, AP Magical Cultures, Reincarnation Studies, Japanese....and also Alchemy" Misa blushed realizing how much work she was going to have.

"I-I didn't even know we had Reincarnation Studies..." Emmet sputtered, absolutely stunned by all the classes. I mean for Christ's sake he was nearly falling over, his brain not able to imagine THAT much homework. The alchemy sounded cool though. 'If its an elective Im SO taking it!' he thought and shook off the initial brain shock that was Misa's future homework load.
"Well we have most of the same classes,"he said.
'And one more when i sign up for that kick ass alchemy class WOHO!' he thought to himself with a smirk.

Misa smiled, "Yeah....I'm a bit of a genius but still with this much homework it is going to take me at least an hour...or maybe even two..." Misa shrugged blushing realizing that she must sound like a stuck up. She smiled as she tuned into his thoughts.

"Well I hope they let you take Alchemy! But it is good that we have classes together..." She grinned. She heard that class was good and the teacher was cute. And she was defiantly getting gay vibes from her new friend.

"A genius? Really? Modest arnt we," He laughed, "But yea...i hope so i can it seems pretty kick ass"
Emmet was about to ramble on about some other useless topic when he realised something and paused suddenly.
'Did i mention to her i wanted to take Alchemy?...' he thought for a moment but then shoved the thought aside figuring that it didnt really matter all that much.
"So...i know this is a little rude...but ive been so curious about it i might go crazy! So i apologize in advance but...uh...what are you anyway?" He blushed afraid she might suddenly decide to slap him.

"Uh...um....well I'm a medium..." Misa looked down shuffling her feet, "I see things and stupid stuff like that...but I'm human or at least I think so..." Misa frowned. Now here came the fireworks. Where he turned on her and laughs and runs off.
