I was looking around the threads, trying to find something I could join. The point is, I'm bored, and I want gold. A lot of gold.

Join in at any time, with anything. BUT, please read a few posts around so that you at least have a general idea what's going on here.

Aside from that, just a few simple rules:
1. No spamming
2. No flaming
3. If you have a problem with another user, please deal with it through messages
4. This place is supposed to be light hearted and fun. Let's do our best to keep it that way, shall we?

So! On to the fun stuff :) I'll be listing some discussion topics. Discuss as many of them as you want!

- Current roleplays. Any interesting ones?
- Life events. Anything funny happen?
- School. How's it going for you?
- Mother's day. Any plans?
- Anything else you can think of...anything at all.

I haven't got much to talk about, so...go right ahead!

Ah, are you doing anything for Mother's Day, or haven't decided yet? My mom's treating our grandparents (both her's and the inlaws) to a local tea shop for High tea.

I'll be doing something with my sisters and her, probably just going out to eat and some shopping (though I'm not a shopper). It's difficult, since my mom lives two hours south of us, but she always makes a point to come see us on mother's day.

That's sweet :P Hope you guys have fun! I'm still living at home (I'm a university student) so I don't have to think hard to plan anything.

We went out to a tea shop. It's a wonderful place :)

I don't know, Lavinia...but Americans have a later Thanksgiving than we in Canada do, and for some reason while we celebrate Remembrance Day at 11:00 on November 11th they put Veteran's Day a few months later...Holidays really don't make any sense, do they?

I ended up going to a popular pancake house with mum and my other sister, then we went shopping for almost three hours. I'm not much of a shopper, but for my mom...I put up with it.

Neither me or my mom are really shoppers, unless it comes to books. We could spend hours in a Chapters together. If either of us are considering getting a book, we give it to the other to read the jacket cover and the first page or so; our taste in books converges about 99% of the time, so if we yea/nay a book, we tend to get/not get it.

I guess Mother's Day at my house was alright. I made my mother breakfast, then my older sister who just because a mother came over and we all hung out for the day at home. Definitely not a fancy way to celebrate, but none of us wanted to go out because it was so freaking cold out.

I got to sort of celebrate the holiday because I'm six months pregnant, which was pretty cool. I'm definitely looking forward to when my little Buddha decides to join the rest of the world.

Congratulations on your upcoming baby ^^ We had an English style tea, and my English grandmother was happy because it had been a long time since she'd had one.
