(First post isn't so great but meh... its a start). ^^;;

Lost in thought, L couldn't help but analyze recent clues from the Kira case.

Those videos... I'm sure that both Kiras have made contact at this point but...

Despite that he was in public, he crouched on top of a nearby park bench still obsessing over the theories he had in mind. Even when posing as a freshman in college, L stuck out like a sore thumb. He waited for the groups of students to clear before taking the opportunity to speak to a certain person whom he had been waiting for the entire day.

Light stepped out of the dark auditorium and almost immediately brought an arm up to his eyes. Class was boring as usual. There was nothing taught that he hadn't already experienced first-hand.

"Ryuuzaki." he nodded briefly in the other man's direction. Ryuuzaki, or L, as he had introduced himself as, was as strange as strange could get in Light's book. 'What disgusting posture.' he mused lightly. Light wasn't sure how he would react to such casual greetings.

"Ah, Light-kun!" L said with fake enthusiasm before switching to his normal monotone voice,"Hi."

He got up from the park bench sticking his hands in his pockets shuffling towards Light. As much as he disliked small talk, there were too many students passing through that the possibility of someone eavesdropping on their conversation was quite high.

"So, how's class today?" he said bluntly. It was unusual for him to ask something so meaningless (to him that is) but he had no choice. "Wanna go grab a bite to eat at that bakery across campus?"

((Bear with me here, I know next to NOTHING about Death Note...Digital Kakashi's already been forewarned, but this is a message to anyone else who comes in.))

Misa Amane made her way out her door and into the city. She had nothing to do for the day and just "happened" to pass by the school that Light attended. She didn't know which class he would be in, so it was pointless for her to enter the place. Instead, hoping to catch a glimpse of him SOMEwhere, she walked slowly past the place, looking at each window that was already quite a distance away from her. She knew she was already treated coldly by him, but she was obsessed with Light either way.

"Class was as boring as usual." Light glanced down at his watch to give himself an air of importance (no, he wasn't really busy), "And sure, Ryuuzaki. I've heard the bakery there is spacious."

He was cautious with each word. Ryuuzaki could take anything he said against him.

(( Hehe, I don't think that'll be a problem. Misa is just the generic crazy-stalker fan girl. The ones with 100% authentic squeal! [Salesman mode.] ))

"Spacious, you say? That's good." L said casually. "And don't worry its on me."

L took note that Light was checking his watch, "I just hope I'm not taking too much of your time, Yagami-kun. I know how much school work you college students have..."

(Don't worry. Misa should be pretty easy to RP actually. She's the typical love-sick girl.). :3

"It's alright." Light smiled, even though he felt as though he would have more productive feeding ducks at the park then talking to Ryuuzaki.

"Never mind. I just HAVE to see him!" She rushed into the building. Fortunately there was no security in the way...'It's a university. Plus, everyone knows me! I'm Misa-Misa!' she thought to herself. Giddy as she was, she hoped she could remember Light's classroom. "Oh Light, I can't wait to see you!" Again, talking to herself, and smiling. Her blonde hair flowed behind her as she skipped along the halls. She passed a window that looked inside a classroom. No Light to be found...along with that darkness known as "L."

((No really, I dunno if she calls him L or Ryuuzaki...))

She finally headed into the courtyard of the school, seeing that weird monotonous guy there. "Oh man, of all people I end up finding HIM instead of the guy who's my future boyfriend?! Ugh!" She scowled a bit, and then noticed there was a figure standing with him.

"It couldn't be." But it was. Misa began to run towards him.

"Light! Liiiiiiiiiight! Heeeey it's me, Misa!" She waved and giggled as she headed toward the duo.

A shudder ran down his spine as the voice of none other than Misa reached his ears. "Oh, what a coincidence to see you, Misa." Light smiled, and stepped in front of her view, obscuring L completely, "Why are you here?"

L turned around after hearing a female voice calling for Light. Misa-Misa? As in the model? How very peculiar for her to be calling for Light though...

L glanced over Light's shoulder. It was really her. "Aren't you going to introduce me to your friend there?" L said slightly raising his brow.

"Silly. You know I'm here to see you!" She winked at Light before leaning over to see L behind him. "I see you're here too?" She thought it strange that Light would choose to block her view from L, especially considering Light knew that Misa had the shinigami eyes and could therefore find out his name, just as easily.

"That's very thoughtful of you, Misa. But you didn't have to," Light cringed internally and added, "This is Ryuuzaki. He's a student here, too."

Light put extra emphasis on the name, and hoped that God would strike him on the spot if Misa didn't understand.

"Misa-Misa? As in the model from the magazine Misa?" L limply stuck out his hand to shake trying to seem as normal as he possibly could (which usually came out in the most awkward way). "Its very nice to meet you. I've been a fan of your since your debut."

"Why yes, that's me! It's nice to know I have some fans," she giggled, as she always did. Inside, she was very wary...she knew this guy was weird. "So you attend this university too, I suppose?" At this point she folded her arms and used one hand to twirl her hair, mostly for Light, and rocked on her heels.

"Yes I do," L replied. "But only for part-time. I had a job that keeps me too busy to attend classes most of the time..." L glanced over at Light. "You're a very lucky guy, Light. How long have you two been together, may I ask...?"

"Ohhhhh we've been together forEVER!" Misa squealed, gripping onto Light's arm, sighing happily and laughing. "I don't attend school here, as a matter of fact, but you already know that I do a lot of modeling. It's really fun."

I'll bet Light will disagree.he mused, I wonder if he'll find a way to get rid of her. She's pretty annoying, after all. But there is Rem. And she can get rid of L.

Ryuk laughed at the idea of such a seemingly useless girl being Light's ultimate weapon, and bringing an end to the great and notorious L.
I guess it's good for Light to have someone expendable around. Hmm, now I really do wonder what he'll do with her.

If she heard Ryuk speaking, she had to ignore it or else her demeanor would've been given away to L. She had to keep up the facade of smiling...but what kind of facade would it be when she could be with the guy she loved and adored at all times?

((No other takers? I wonder where's everyone else.))

(Yeah, what gives? I was at the onset of a rich interior monologue.)
