Its the third term and Hiroyuki arrived at school with his chuffeur drove him to school. As a first year student, he is quite a popular one at school. With his strike good looking, intelligence and good family backrgound, he had everything that all teen boys ever wanted. Even though he apparently studies at boys, quite often girls from other school come to swarm around him.

He walked to his shoe locker and was about to placed his shoes to the locker when a group of guys stopped behind him and patted his shoulder from the back. "dude!! You finally come eh?" said one of them while placing his hand on Hiroyuki's shoulder. Hiroyuki giggled and joked around with them. There were four guys with him. The first one is the school's student president, Ryu Kyoyama. He was the one who greeted Hiroyuki. The second one is the soccer's captain, Hao Oyamada. The third one was the baseball's captain, Ren Asakura. And the fourth one was Jun Kaiten, a badminton's captain . Hiroyuki himself is basketball's captain. The five of them are close friends ever since primary school and until now they are at the same class. They both were selected recently for their position and very famous for their good look and their ability.

Hiroyuki closed his locker and the five of them walked heading to the classroom. Many people gazed at them when they were walking.

Arrive at their class, Hiroyuki sat in his sit, fourth row from the fourth column. Ryu sat in front of him while Hao sat at his back meanwhile Ren and Jun sat the first and second row in first column. Since the bell had not yet rang, all of them gathered at Hiroyuki's sit with others came surround them. Hiro looked to his right side, the same row at fifth column, near the window. "Hmm... He has not yet come" he thought to himself before turn his look around to chat with his friends and classmates.

Tamaki could've had passed up as one of those good-looking fellows if it weren't for his unapproachable aura. Whenever people would go into his personal space, which is ten to twenty feet radius, he'd give them a glare. People who'd usually talk to him would keep their distance. If one wanted a decent conversation with him, they keep their distance and don't bother him after everything else. People don't come for him for help, they don't talk to him often, and usually didn't want him as a partner for projects at school. He didn't mind this. He liked his solo time.

If he could, he'd just stay at home and not bother with school. Though he could sense his mother's worry about him making friends, it's just too bad that he couldn't change for her. Even for himself.

Taking off his shoes and putting them into the shoe locker, he took out his school shoes from the said locker and slipped them on while he locked up his locker. As usual, he didn't care about the people around him. He didn't even bother irritating himself when people stepped into his radius just to pass by him. As long as their target isn't him, he's mighty fine with that. His hands were in his pockets as he walked to the classroom and the headphones around his ears help prevent him from hearing whatever it is that people are talking about behind his back. They could talk all they want, he still wouldn't care.

Tamaki got into the classroom and he'd pushed back the hood he was wearing underneath the school uniform. He never wore his school uniform properly. It isn't like he needed to, anyway, when the teachers don't give a damn except for their grades. Blowing out a bubble, he seated himself onto his usual seat, which was at the back and peered out a moment into the soccer field. Before he'd decided to go against the world, he was one of those popular guys, the ones like Hiroyuki, with the good looks, the perfect grades and the perfect girlfriend. But, after he'd lost one of his favorite charms, one he'd received from a very good friend before he'd gone abroad, to some woman who wanted solely his attention, he'd given up. He didn't have to want to deal with emotions, with people, and even with the feelings he felt inside. They were useless, he'd thought that day, Useless to the point that it's useless to even think about them.

Tamaki leaned back against his chair and silently chewed on his bubble gum while he let his eyes slide shut. Nothing like a morning with really loud music that blocked out any types of sounds and a bubble gum to keep his mouth occupied.

Hiroyuki looked at Tamaki when that guy sat down. He smiled a bit then happily chatted with his friends again. Not long after that, the school bell rang. It's a sign for homeroom. The homeroom teacher came inside the class welcoming students back to school for the third semester and some students booed him for that. Hiroyuki, Ryu and Hao laughed at that.

Homeroom class finished soon after that with English class as the first class his class had. Hiroyuki purposely left his textbook inside the locker. He moved his table close to Tamaki and adjusted to his sit. Of course Hiroyuki knew that Tamaki would not notice it's first class already, the teacher could arrive anytime soon and Hiroyuki moved his table closed to Tamaki. He slided down the left side of Tamaki's earphone and said, " Tamaki! "

Tamaki didn't bother taking off his headphone when homeroom started. It wasn't like he already knew what the teacher was going to say. After having studied in this school for a a year and a half, one already knew what they say whenever students return to class. He'd seen Hiroyuki, Ryu and Hao laugh at the boo-ing, or so he'd guess, by their classmates and he'd yawned out rudely. The teacher didn't pay him any mind.

When homeroom had finished, he knew English was coming up. He didn't have to be told what was next. He missed how Hiroyuki had gotten into his personal space and his eyes had widened at the outcry of his name and his headphone missing a left side. Scowling, he slapped Hiroyuki's hand away. "What do you want?" he asked before he'd motioned for him to go further away, "You're too close." Not that he could blame him. He was, well, seated beside him.

Hiroyuki snorted when he heard Tamaki's response. "So cute!!!" he thought to himself.

"Well.... I forgot my textbook so" he said with a huge smile on his face.

Tamaki didn't know why Hiroyuki even bothered with him. He was used to people not paying him any attention. Grunting in reply as the teacher came in, he took out his book from under his desk and handed it to the male beside him. "Couldn't you borrow from Oyamada-san and just leave me alone?" he asked, making a face at the other and reached up to pull down the headphones so it'd rest around his neck.

"Oro oro" he muttered.

"It'd be such a hassle. His seat is behing me. " he answered while giggling and failed to notice that the teacher was in class already and stared at him.

"HIROYUKI!!!!" he screamed.

Hearing his name being called, Hiroyuki's body went stiff.

" What page did I tell everyone to open?" the teacher asked.

Of course Hiroyuki did not know as he did not hear what the teacher said before hand.

"fourty five" Hao whispered behind Hiroyuki's back.

"Fourty five, sensei" Hiroyuki answered to the teacher.

The teacher shunned his eyes as he was surprised that Jiroyuki got the answer right. He was furious to the point that he decided to pick on the student who sat beside Hiroyuki.

"Tamaki! Who told you that you can sleep during MY Class?" he yelled at Tamaki.

Tamaki felt himself freeze. What was his fault? Looking up at the teacher, he'd felt his eyes widen just a little. Sleeping? He wasn't even sleeping. All he did was rub his eye. Grunting a bit, he glared at Hiroyuki and pursed his lips a little.

Since it was only English, Tamaki really didn't have to stay. He, after all, grew up in a family who valued English-speaking members. "Don't start putting the blame on other people, sir," he'd told the teacher. Getting up to his feet, he'd put on his headphones again and shoved his hands into the pockets of his pants. The male ignored the surprised looks of his classmates and headed out the door - not even bothering to look back at the teacher.

The teacher was so red when he was told off like that. He never knew that Tamaki could speak English in fluent. After all, he never picked on Tamaki before.

" COME BACK HERE!!!" the teacher screamed and flustered.

Hiroyuki chuckled.

"Oro oro" he said and stood up.

"Sensei! you are too much. Why are you picking on Tamaki like that? Perhaps you were right for scolding a student who kindly ask his fellow classmate to share the textbook. Perhaps... for you. But I never know that a teacher could scold the student who was teaching a few words that one does not know how to say it properly... Are you sure you have done the right thing?" he said while looking at the teacher. He lied a bit with what he said and of course his best friends knew and they were all smiling.

"SILENT HIROYUKI!!" yelled the teacher as he did not know what to say.

All four friends of Hiroyuki stood up.

"Is that what a teacher, someone who supposedly guide us in education and someone who teach us to become a proper adult, supposedly do, sense? " said Ryu.

"I sit behind them and as a witness, I dare to say what Hiroyuki stated about what happened is correct. You owe these two an apology." added Hao.

Asakura looked at the English sensei casually and said, " You do realise this can be considered as inappropriate conduct and known as BULLY, right sensei?"

"And sensei, I thought our school prohibit bully in any circumstances. And why are you doing this?" Added Jun

"As a student president, I will bring this matter to the school meeting." added Hao.

The teacher was flustered and feeling cornered. He did not know what to do and left the class.

" STUDY BY YOURSELF!" he yelled before left the class.

All students inside the class were chattering around talking about the incident that just happened.

Hiroyuki, on the other hand, left the class and trying to find Tamaki.

Tamaki had only beared with the English teacher's weird attitude just 'cause he never picked on him. Not until Hiroyuki had decided to transfer the attention to him. He hated the attention and it irritated him to no extent. Why couldn't Hiroyuki just leave him alone? Grunting at the thought, he'd flopped down onto the bench outside near the back doors and stretched out his legs before him. Everyone was in class - all students were in class - so no one was out.

The male looked out into the school garden and at the gardeners tending to the plants. The flowers were in full bloom, he'd noticed and he couldn't help but find his gaze turning soft and his boiling rage now becoming calmer. Just as long as no one annoying would come to join him, he was going to be fine.

Hiroyuki ran around the second floor looking for Tamaki but Tamaki was nowhere to be found. He went to the first floor and tried his best to spot him be it in the library or even male toilet.

"I shall apologise to him." he thought regretting what happened and could not stop blaming himself.

Sighing, he decided to go to the school's garden trying to calm his mind. He was surprised to find Tamaki was there looking at the flower's bud and what's more, Tamaki was softly gazing at it!

Could not help himself to gaze at Tamaki, he dared himself to sit beside Tamaki

Tamaki's gaze snapped to the one who had joined him. When he'd realized who it was, his annoyed look came over his face and his lips parted just a bit to let out a sigh.

"If you're here to cause ruckus, do it back there with your friends," he said with a grunt before he'd sank down the bench. His eyes had moved back to the garden, but his frown still marred his once relaxed face, thanks to Hiroyuki.

"I am sorry for dragging you , Tamaki" he apologised with his head bowing towards Tamaki.

"I . . I did not mean to drag you " he added

With the other apologizing like that, surprise took over Tamaki's face. Hiroyuki never apologized to anyone. At least, Tamaki had never seen him do that to anyone. It made Tamaki feel a little embarrassed. "It's fine," he grumbled as he'd brought his own hand to rub it on his own pant leg. This kind of conversation didn't feel right. Hiroyuki should leave him alone like everybody else.

"Just... don't get too close to me or even acquainted with me."

Like hell I would! You are too stand out to be a loner!!

"but why? If you don't mind asking. Beside, you only become a teen once in a life time. My dad said to me once enjoy the life of teen for once you reach adulthood you would come to a regret for not having fun when you were young." he said while looking at Tamaki.

He then took a deep breath before saying, "You know, friendship is a good thing"

"That's exactly why," Tamaki said with a look of annoyance, "I don't like to get along with people or talk to them. This is the longest I've spoken." The male immediately zipped his mouth and pushed himself to seat up. He was about to get up and leave when he'd heard the other's words. Friendship?

Tamaki looked down and away. What was he supposed to do? "Don't talk to me," he grumbled, his cheeks slightly pink before he'd gotten up to his feet. He started to walk, walk to wherever his feet would lead him to. Anywhere where there is no Hiroyuki to make him feel this embarrassed and actually wanted for the first time in his life.

Hiroyuki stood up and chased him. He managed to grab Tamaki's hand. "Why? What did I do wrong?" he asked in a worry voice.

Did I offend him? Oh no

"Did you. . . by any chance ever experience a bad friendship? Cos I have a feeling you do." he added while his hand still holding to Tamaki's.

He let Tamaki's hand go then continued, " I know there must be a reason for that but why don't you give it a go ? I can be your friend? Or if its too much. . . talk to me everyday."

That way I have an excuse to gaze at you

Tamaki cringed at the contact. The more Hiroyuki held him like that, the more he craved for human contact. He looked at the hand that Hiroyuki had touched and looked at the other. "It's not like that," he said with a shake of his head, "I just... don't like people or any person for that matter." When he'd heard the other's request, he looked at the look Hiroyuki had on him.

Did he have to do this?

"Do what you want," was all an answer he could tell the other before he'd left. It wasn't exactly a 'yes' or a 'no'. Tamaki left the meaning to what he'd just said to Hiroyuki.

After Tamaki left, Hiroyuki made a victory sign to the air and jump happily in quiet.

Yes!!! so he let me be his friend Gosh gosh gosh Oh my gawd!!

After recess, Hiro's class was having PE. The boys went to males change room to change into the P.E. uniform.

"Ahh. . . " Hiro said yawning. He walked to the change room followed with his close four friends.

"Gosh Hiro. Stop yawning!" said Ryu with chuckle.

"Ahh I want to skip so badly. . . " answered Hiro in a lazy tune.

"You what?!! Hirroooo" Hao yelled at Hiro while shaking his fist.

"He he he he " Hiro replied.

"I was just kidding. Geez" he added pretending to pout.

Inside the change room, Hiro was searching for the presence of Tamaki

Tamaki had just taken off his shirt when the conversation between the three rather famous guys at school had stopped. Though he shouldn't really care, he'd found his gaze moving to their spot and saw Hiroyuki's eyes searching for someone. Quickly snapping his gaze back to his clothes, he'd slipped on his shirt and then his PE shorts after ridding of his pants. Now that he had his hood down, people could see how he normally look like: dyed hair cropped short just above the nape of his neck, two earrings on one ear, plain white PE shirt and shorts, long legs and a pair of white sneakers the school required them to wear.

He followed the crowd of girls who were talking amongst themselves and went off to the benches while everyone were caught up with each other. Some were playing volleyball, the others basketball, while the teacher was still out.

Hiro finally has found Tamaki. With Tamaki's casual look, Hiro was quite surprise.

Woww He looks so... adorable.Gosh what am I thinking?

He shook his head and followed his mates to the gym.

"Hey lets play basketball" Ryu challenged Hiro and the rest.

"Huh? One on one ? you? Pfffft you do know that you sucks!"Ken chuckled as if he mocked Ryu.

Hao, Jun and Hiroyuki were all laughing.

"Pffft bring it on! Me and Hiro gonna beat you all three" Ryu pointed his finger to Ken, Hao and Jun challenging them

"Me?" Hiro pointed his finger to himself .

"Don't drag me" Hiro sighed and was about to walk out.

"Beside... 2 vs 3? Pffft sportmanship pls. I will just sit on the bench watching you guys." he smiled and laughed.

"BOOO!!!" his mates booed him but they let him go nevertheless.
