It's a temp thing they are doing to see if it works out. It used to be 500g max but they lowered it to see if more people would post on the forums instead of playing games. If you post on the forums you can get quite a bit of gold. The longer your post, the more gold you get. You just can't spam because that's against the rules but a well thought out post can get you up to 30g.

There was an announcement made about it when it first happened. You should be able to find it in the announcements forum.

Also, if you post a lot (which is possible when you get to chatting with friends or RPing) then you earn more gold on top of the 250.

They know how to manipulate the market. :x

Yeah it was done a bit a go, though I think they are taking feedback about putting ADs in the games in which would make the cap higher? If I remember correctly.. but I personally still think it's faster to earn gold via gaming than posting, but that's just a personal opinion there :d

I'm not too social because I'm pretty to the point. I don't like that it's such little amount of gold a post. Does it decline, or stay the same?

It stays the same no matter how long you are online for, and it's not a small amount because it's governed entirely by how much you say :) You can earn FAR for from posting on our forums than you can from posting on Gaia for example.

Just post a lot in the forums and play games on both your main and mule. It really isn't hard to earn gold on here. =)

@ Deathknight - Aahmygawd. I haate that they dropped the gold cap to 250. It was a lot easier when it was at 500gold. You could get 1k a day if you maxed out on your mule and main. Now its a lot harder. D:

Luckily thanks to all the people doing giveaways right now, though, i've been getting a nice amount of gold to save for the events. :] Vixen has helped a lot, for sure.

I think that games are a plus. But not needed. I prefer posting, it's more entertaining than playing the same freaking game 20times to get 100gold. (that's if you suck at games, like me)
