Welcome to the Dinner Party. We do hope your invitations got to you with no problem, and are so glad that you are here. There are many mysteries in this world, and not all of them can be solved. But maybe we can start here by solving some at the very least. Please, pull up a chair and enjoy your meal why we reveal the current mystery to be solved.

This thread is a roleplaying contest, where you as the players or dinner guests play out roles of characters involved in mysteries. Sometimes these will be murder mysteries, sometimes it will be hidden treasure in a mansion. We need your help to play it out to solve the mystery. We are very delighted to have you for dinner.

The Invitation Letter
Dear Menewshans,
You are invited to a murder mystery dinner party for the inquest of the death of Lord Wellsley, who was found brutally murdered on his own estate, Wellsley Manor, last week.
The dinner will take place on [date of round 1] and I trust all of our invited guests will be there.
Connor Smock - The dedicated gardener of the manor for 25 years.
Samuel Raider - Grandson of the deceased; a well-off city stock broker
Lady Wellsley - The dedicated elderly widow of Lord Wellsley
Heather Wellsley - Daughter of the Lord and Lady who has lived with them her whole life
Daphne Ingemells - The local lady priest.
Christa Wellsley - Spoilt granddaughter of the deceased
Kathy Mart - Chief cook of the Wellsley Manor. She knows all of the gossip.

The butler; Christopher Loxley, will be none other than I, your dashing host.


Dinner will take place in the dining room


where an assortment of hors d'oeuvres will be ready for you


On a side table will be a selection of fine wine that you may freely choose from.

How to Play
Applications
Fill out the Application forms and PM them to Mystery Dinner Host; under the title of the Round.
EX: Murder at Wellsley Manor Application
Talk in the thread regularly.

Before Round 1
Actors for the cast have been picked.
Those that are actors will now introduce their characters with the basic information that has been PMed to them.
Use the setting provided in the current round description as a starter.
The Mystery Dinner Host will be there to help guide things along where it is needed.
Please signify a difference between in game chat and regular chat from now on.
Example 1: "Hello guest, welcome to the dinner. Please come this way to the dining room" Said the Butler as he opened the door to the first guest.

Continue with the difference between in game and regular chat
