Alright, I'm going to make the question more simple than it's put as the title.
What was the best GOOD thing that has happened to you right after something bad happened.
Like, what was the best thing that happened to make up for what bad happened before.

With me...:
I'm crossed between two things, really.
1.) I was having a horrible day at GLMF rehearsals because people weren't being too friendly and I just felt like crap...and my boyfriend (now ex...) ended up giving me my first kiss (finally).
Well, he told me to kiss him...but still.
I remember always dreaming about my first kiss. *.*
It was fast, sweet, and simple, and just how I knew it should be.
It definitely slapped a permanent smile on my face for the rest of that evening.
2.) Today, actually.
A lot of crap happened this past week, and my old buddy who I've been friends with and had a crush on since 6th grade, started talking to me more.
Now, he's really sweet, but he can get whiney.
Today I said "I'm debating on going for a walk."
He said "We can go in a little bit, if you want."
So, we went for our first walk.
It was nice, actually.
We talked and walked and he gave me a hug in the end. ^.^

Ok, here it goes.

Two months ago, I was living in an apartment with my sister we worked pretty hard to move in to. She was jobless for 9 out of 12 months of the time, but had met this man (My sister is 21, the man is 39)

Now my sister can be with whomever she likes, but this man has 7 children, from 5 mothers, from all over the country. He works in fast food and had just gotten fired from Burger King for stealing food.

Well, he moved in, took over the apartment, and then moved his 21 year old son in, with HIS "baby momma" and their baby (into our two bedroom apartment, where we already had 4 people living).

Well, our rent in total would run 200 dollars each per month, and her and our other roommate weren't working. Time came for rent to be paid, I gave her 350 dollars. The next week, she demanded I give her 300 more so she could pay electric. Well, I told her I could give her 150, she kicked me and my other roommate out.

Immediately afterwards, my mother called me, told me she had just gotten done giving my sister 2000 dollars, and my brother 2000 dollars, so she sent me 2000 as well, even though I begged her not to.

Thats one story.

Right after all of that, my mother told me she was offered 3000 dollars for my sisters car, which she had two states away. If I could make it up there in two weeks, she would give me the car. Well, it fell through, because my sister refused to sign the title, and a huge mess came out of it.

In the end, my sister agreed to give me the car she already had if I brought her car back to her, so I did. Got my car, and in the process, my mother gave me this computer, two televisions, and various other enjoyable things she needed to clear out of her house so her bestie could move in with her.

My sister (since I do believe in Karma) once getting her car, which I drove from Michigan to Tennessee with absolutely no issues whatsoever, suddenly cannot make it two blocks before overheating, and shes had it in the shop since I got back, last month.

My car runs like a dream.

I had to quit my job for several reasons (mostly medical), and my last day, I missed because I had been dizzy since I had gotten up. My grandmother is the matriarch of the house, and would NEVER let me leave if I missed a day of work. Except my boyfriend (who she doesn't know is my boyfriend) is her favorite of my "friends", so she let me go with him to work. We also went to Toys R Us and got some more Littlest Pet Shop toys (Shush, we're not too old or manly to play with kid toys ; 3 ; I'm certainly not), bought dinner, had a nice day at his work, and he came to spend the night with me that night. <3 It was lovely.

Hey! I still collect Littlest Pet Shop! I have the little hospital collection thingy and I used to love the originals. :3 Now I'm just waiting to have enough money with me when I'm at Target. I usually get mine from Target. You rock dude, don't ever forget that. I'M 15 AND I STILL PLAY BARBIES! Proud of it too.

Glad to hear things worked out, btw. ;)

Last weekend I was incredibly stressed out. Then my dad came out of the basement holding up a case of Dr Pepper (my favorite soda) and ramen (one of my favorite foods). xD Not to mention that my favorite episode of Scrubs (where the go back over all the funny stuff that had happened on the show) was on. It's silly, but that combination perked me right up.

Another bad thing that's happened recently was that I had to give my two birds away. I loved those little balls of fluff, and still do, but because of my family moving I had to get rid of them. The good thing is that my best friend was the one to take them in. She already has a few other of the same birds, so mine will fit right in. It's great to know that my little parakeets will be in a safe and happy place (especially since my friend said she'll spoil them silly).

Mine's pretty short, but sweet.

On New Years Eve, I was with my Opa when he passed away.
It was very hard, but at least he wasn't hurting anymore.
The time after that, it felt like my parents actually got a long for once, and.....it was nice.
