So who here listens to British music x3?
My favourite bands from over there are
Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs, Hard-Fi, and Franz Ferdinand
:'D
I really want this one hoodie with an AM logo on it, but it costs about $63 D:
and my mom is like "I'm not spending $70 on a hoodie D< do you know how much I spent on your party?"
TT___TT
I told her that it was one of the two things that I wanted most though xD
Cuz I really wanted that and the new Kaiser Chiefs CD "Yours Truly Angry Mob"
Anyways, I really like British bands, not only because of their accent (I hardly even notice that anymore xD) I like it mostly because of the different sound!
I love how they play their guitars and keyboards

Arctic Monkeys and Franz Ferdinand are quite impressive. Franz Ferdinand actually did this interview with Simon Amstell (it was the first time I'd heard of them), and the entire ordeal was pretty hilarious. It's on YouTube, I believe.
Queen is incredible! Can't forget about The Beatles either...
Has anyone ever heard of McFly? They're sort of a boyband, but they have four members rather than the magical five, and they write their own music and play instruments live on stage. At the moment they're my favorite British band. X3 Danny Jones' voice is fantastic. They're a funny bunch of boys as well, and so young (age nineteen to early twenties). Even when drunk, I wouldn't say their lyrics are exactly ground-breaking, focusing mostly on falling in love with this girl or that, but their music is great fun to listen to.
Do The Fratellis count as British?

I'm not sure if the Fratellis Count as british. I've listened to their music, but I'm not sure. x)
I used to love the punk metal music here x) The older english bands and music. <3
I'm not a fan of any boy band boy band. (XP) So it's unfortuante quite a few get churned out. (or used to) ick. xP
I Sortof like the Arctic Monkeys, and Franz Ferdinand :3
Anyone ever heard of The Darkness? Or The Feeling?(The Feeling is a British Band isn't it? XP) The Darkness broke up :( I used to like them xP And I Like the Feeling, Even if it isn't really a metal band or anything. x) Or has anyone heard of the Babyshambles? Or Towers of london? i'm not sure if they're brit bands, but I think they are. x)

The Feeling! Dan's great; love to him, always. I'm really glad they've gotten out into the US as well. They were interviewed on VH1 once, weren't they? Apparently the station really likes "Sewn," the music video of which my parents found sort of disturbing. ^^;; Their CD's actually not bad, and I rather enjoy listening to it while working.

My friend looks like Joss Stone. So much to the point that turists have come up to her and asked her. And honestly, she really does, plus she has money, so her outfits are always fantastic (as in she definitly looks like a celeb)
The Clash! Woooo! London Calling... gotta love that song.
And I know they aren't a band but I still love you Spice Girls. :P

Le gasp! :O
Everyone knows Queen is British. Freddie Mercury was born in Zanzibar and grew up in India but the band is totally British. To be more precise, they were from London, just like Iron Maiden [they come from Leyton which is in East London], so yes they are both British bands :)

Yes, there is, or was one band, that I am fond of. I would even say I'm their crazy fangirl xD
The Beetles. Even though this band was popular in 60-s, they are still number one on my playlist, because they are cool <33

- I've heard some of the things by the Arctic Monkeys seeing as every so often they chart on the JAPANESE charts. Seriously. xD
As it is, I do tend to like British bands more. Been listening to Radiohead a bit lately. Before that, I was listening to the Oysterband (kinda folk-rock) whose CDs are nearly non-existant here in the US, but at least visible in the UK. Then we get to one of my favorite bands of all time who are also not too well known. The Levellers = seriously freaking awesome. ~ <3

I'm British so I guess I end up listening to British stuff on the radio. The BBC 1 Introducing radio show is what I tend to listen to so I can get my 'fix' of British music XP Arctic Monkeys are nice. I love Radiohead <3
