Welcome to Menewsha. :) I believe there is actually a sticky in this area with a guide letting newcomers know some good ways for earning gold. In general, just being active is the best way to get gold. If there's no one around to chat with or you're tired of typing, try out some of the games. You earn gold based on how well you do, so I recommend Tetris. But I've honestly found that chatting and posting in the forums gets you gold much faster. Remember not to spam, that's not allowed here, but getting into a deep discussion or even just joining a hang out will net you plenty of gold and help you make some fast friends as well! By the way, I love your avi's hair colour. <3 Blue's my favourite.

EDIT: Oh yeah, almost forgot to mention about the game. I think you can only get gold from each five times a day (or something like that,) and you can get 50 gold maximum per play. You can also only get 250 gold a day total from playing games, so once again your best bet is the forums. Enjoy!

Hmm, I've never done a cosplay with my avatar, I mostly just pick out stuff that looks good and choose a colour theme, but good luck! Your success will probably depend on how unique or simple your OC's clothing is and how accurate you're trying to be with it. Regardless, I'm sure you'll find some outfits you really like here, as there is a huge selection in the shoppes, quirky monthly donation items, and awesome event items. If you can't find a particular item in the shoppes, it's best to check the Menewshan Exchange and see what other people are trying to get rid of. Actually, it's a good place to look in general because you can get some good discounts on items you would otherwise pay full-price for at the stores. Good luck!
