Ummm.. Carmen sandeigo is from a kids video game, it was fundecational... na really it was pretty awesome, but yeah that's who she is.

Carmen Sandiago is a professional thief, basically. Carzee is right, there's a video game -- actually a series of them -- and she's the villain. (I used to play a lot of "Where in Time is Carmen Sandiago.") This song is from a game show that aired on public television for a while and is performed by an a cappella group called Rockapella. I used to watch that, too. Good memories.

I had one of the PC games when I was a kid. It was really fun : ) I still remember the TV show on KPBS too.

Come to think of it I'm pretty sure there's a Saturday morning cartoon based on this.

Heck I own 2 of the pc games but one of them won't work on my laptop. I think it is do to old windows data are age it ran on Windows 95 to Windows 98. yet heck I use to watch the game show version it was on PBS back in the early 90's.

I haven't seen that show in a long time and I will admit that the beginning tune is kind of catchy, I used to watch the main cartoon show where they had a different tune and lyrics of the song. It just depends on what you like more I guess. This was more of a rapped out well though musical song where as the cartoon series was more of a show tune style song. I liked both actually, both really cool. It all depended on what mode I was in as far as the show went, sometimes I liked to watch the kids compete on the show and other times I really just wanted to sit back, drink some Coke of Cola, eat some gummi bears and taffy with nerds, and just really really enjoy a nice episode of the cartoon series.

Where in time was awesome, I always loved the Japanese level with all the Kimonos.

Japanese level? Ohh, okay, I think we're talking about different versions. The one I used to play was the earlier one, a DOS game. From 1989, according to Wikipedia (Where in Time Is Carmen Sandiego? - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). Now I want to play the later one. XD
