I've been in a very pokemon mood lately. Watching the anime and i just bought Soul Silver.
I also made my own trainer and have her main party picked out and everything.

Has anyone else done this? made their own trainer?

Lets discuss Pokemon!

I love Pokemon. Just the original 150, though. The Gold/Silver ones are okay, but not great. After that, I am totally lost. My favourite used to be Ditto, for sure. Now, I'm not so sure.

I'm definitely more of a fan of the original 150 and i know very little beyond 252 but i looked through the list on bulbapedia and found some really cool ones from the newer generations

My fave pokemon are Glaceon and Cyndaquil. The latest pokemon are okay, but really confusing. I can barely remember all 400+ of them

did you know, there is actually now 649 pokemon? XD i know the first 252 alright but pretty much all of the ones from after i have no idea about

Lol yeah, I dont usually use bulbapedia, its too confusing. I use psypoke :D Its got all the pokemon and walkthroughs and everything.

I'm still a huge fan of pokemon. My favourite pokemon are Ninetales, Rapidash, and Milotic. I'm pretty open-minded to the newer pokemon games. My favourites will still be the older games, but I'll gladly play and enjoy the newer games.

Ah Pokemon. I only really know about the first three hundred. I get lost with the ones past Sapphire, but that's more because I've only really played Yellow, Silver, Sapphire, and SoulSilver.

My favorite Pokemon are Rapidash, Typhlosion, and my most favorite of all, Lugia. I fell in love with Lugia in the Pokemon 2000 movie, and he's the reason I had to get SoulSilver when it came out.

And I've made a trainer character too. ^^ I've posted some fan art on DA.

Squee! I got SoulSilver too, and I even started drawing a silly comic about the trainer I created! :P I even used to roleplay as her and her pokemon before I started college. I like the first three generations of pokemon the best, and I don't really know any of the fourth generation because I can't stand most of them... :/

But anyways! My favorite pokemon of ALL TIME has got to be - and I'm not really sure why, exactly, but I've just always loved it - Beedrill. I'm usually the only one whose favorite is Beedrill, not many hardcore fans out there <3 but I love the little guy! My pokemon trainer's main poke'partner is a Beedrill named Dorito (again, don't ask lol). My other favorites though are Sneasel, Scyther, Kabutops, Ampharos, Houndoom, Sceptile, Seviper, and Sharpedo... although there are probably a lot more than that.. @_@

@Aeryth Hey Beedrill is cool :) I prefer him over Butterfree any day... You can't stand the 4th gen pokemon? How come? I like them all but I prefer the 2nd gen... they're like the 1st gen :D

Woot! Awesome~! :) Yeah, I was never a fan of Butterfree, but I did a contest on deviantART on the cutest pokemon couple, and I came in third with a female Beedrill and male Butterfree! XD Haha~ so I usually get a male Butterfree just for the lulz.

As for the 4th generation, I don't know. The art style itself changed, you can tell by comparing one to an original pokemon. They got more silly and cartoony, and I think most of them are just stupid looking :/ and most of them are either pre-evolutions or new evolutions of existing pokemon, but look completely absurd. The first few generations of pokemon were awesome because they were all original looking, but had a simple design. The newer ones have swirls and loops and funky colors and I just don't really like them at all... >.> *ahem* But there, there's my little speel. :P

I'm only up to the 252 Pokemon, the ones that come after that are mostly lost on me. :sweat:

I have some of the old Pokemon games on PC, and a GBC game cartridge for Pokemon Crystal, though I can never finish the Pokedex because I don't have a connection cable to trade with.

Favorite Pokemon are Dragonair, Houndoom, and Tyrannitar, I think. I like a lot of them. :XD
Articuno, Suicune, Raiku, Ninetails, Rapidash, Sneasel, and Nindoking are also among my favorites.

I'm watching someone on DA who is making SailorSenshi of a bunch of pokemon
she's done the eevee evolutions, the legendary birds and the legendary runners so far

My favorite is Ninetales, but I also really like Jirachi because it's so fkn adorable and can talk through telepathy. Plus, didn't he evolve from a crystal or something??
