Personality: Grumpy, Feisty, hates being bossed around. Can be quiet and calm and kind but that can easily be replaced with anger. Possessive.

Looks: Long gray hair, tall and slim. Ice blue eyes. He likes to dress in furs and opened shirts, he hates dressing casual.

Background: Klaus is the king of werewolves. He was an only child. His father died years ago, leaving Klaus in charge of their territory. He used to being alone and getting everything he wants with a snap of his fingers. He has never told anyone outside of his pack that he's a werewolf.


Extra: He refuses to change in front of anyone.

Personality: Calm and kind she hates being mistreated and can be very sensitive at times. She does not wish to get married she is actually considering being a nun.

Looks: long brown hair beautiful blue eyes and an innocent face

Background : mother died when she was young along with her father. Is all alone in the world.

The day had been awful so far. It had been raining off and on and Klaus was worn out from his travels. He had been away for a year and was missing his bed about now. There were more important things to worry about through. Like the fact that another pack was trying to take over his tertiary and if he didn't find a bride soon his home could be taken away in a blink of an eye. That was his worst fear.

He would marry some girl but never truly give her his heart, or so he promised himself. He rode on a pure white horse with his two cousins behind him. Today their search began. Not once in his life had Klaus ever fallen in love nor been interested in a woman. " You've gone quiet again Klaus." His older cousin, Mauve said. She kicked into the horse, moving besides Klaus. He ignored her and kept his eyes on the town as they entered the borderline.

"He's nervous." Squeaked his younger cousins, Miles. The two laughed at Klaus. "I bet he doesn't even know about any of his citizens anymore." Klaus cleared his throat as a warning. The two went quiet, falling behind his horse again. Klaus turned his horse away from the others, darting into town. He quickly lost the two and slowed the horse before he scared any citizens.

Layola was walking next to her friend and laughing happily. Layola's long hair was down and she had a bow in it.
Layola and her friend Mary had been friends since they were young children. They happily smiled and laughed together.
" Mary I can not believe you are getting married next week.......Edward is a very very lucky man" Layola said smiling and then hugged her. Mary smiled " You are going into the convent next month.... I always thought you were going to get married" Mary stated. Layola made a funny face " No I want to help the poor and play with the babies in the orphanage ........plus I am very religious so it all ties together." She said smiling

Klaus jumped off the horse, grabbing it's reins and walking besides it. He hadn't been in the town for a while and it felt good to be around people who didn't know about him. He fixed his top hat and stopped by a store. He glanced into the window and smiled. His eyes traveled to a pair of young ladies. Their laughter filling his ears and sending shivers down his back. His eyes went wide.

He had never seen such a lovely girl before. Never once in his life. She seemed so different from everyone else. He quickly made up his mind about her. He had to have her as his bride. Now to find out her name and who her parents were. There was no way she would not want to be his wife. He was royal after all.

"Hey!" He walked over to the girls. "May I ask your name?" He asked.

Layola's face was red from laughing so hard. " I am glad our lives are all planned out " She noticed a young man walking towards them and so did Mary " HE's cute" she whispered and giggled. Layola looked at her and laughed as she elbowed her in the ribs " you are to be married and I will be in the convent soon silly" She said. When she herd him ask for her name before she could respond Mary did " I am Mary and this is my friend Layola " Layola smiled shyly she was shy around people she did not know

Klaus nodded, glad to know at least her first name. "May I ask where you live Layola? I have not seen you around here before. Are you new to this town?" He asked, covering up the fact he wanted to know where she lived. Once he knew it would be all too easy to ask her parents for permission and if they did not give their blessing he would simple take her anyway. She was to be his no matter what.

Klaus bowed to the girls. Layola, he could diffidently get used to having her by his side. She was lovely. He reached up and stroked his horse's mane. It snorted and shook it's head at the girls. Klaus smiled at the horse. This was the only horse that wasn't afraid of him and much like himself it loved to show off.

Layola smiled " My parents passed away.....I live over at that church.....I am studying to be a nun I will graduate on Monday and then I shall start my works as a nun" She stated happily. Mary smiled " Yes I am proud of her its been her dream" She stated happily.....Mary began to notice something *oh my goodness this man likes Layola ....to bad she wants to be a nun......*
Mary then spoke " pardon me but we do not know your name........?" Layola nodded that was true they didn't know his name.
Layola stared at the church almost the whole time barely paying attention to the conversation. She finally found a home in this community.

Klaus stared at the girl. It might be harder than he thought. But it was worth a try. "I am Klaus Devan." He said. He moved in front of Layola. "Please...Become my wife. I can give you everything and anything you desire." He said quickly. He grabbed her hand. If being kind did not work he would use other measures.

The distant sound of horses flooded his ears. His cousins were nearby and getting closer, he could smell their scents well. He had to do this quickly before they ruined it for him.

Layola looked at him confused " Excuse me I am sorry.....did you just propose marriage to me?" She said not believe the words coming out her mouth " I am a nun for heaven's sake" Mary nodded "yeah he just asked you to marry him...." Layola felt less crazy not. " I am sorry but I must decline ........I am a nun and I do not know you ..." She stated as she felt him hold her hand.

"Ah! I'm Klaus the king.' He said pointing towards the castle that was just a hazy blur. The horse came into sight. "Your highness!" Klaus's smile faded. "Then I suppose I will just have to force you to marry me." He said. The kindness drained from his face, leaving behind a gruesome frown and eye full of anger. "I will not have it any other way. You are to become my bride."

" You are out of you mind....for heaven's sake !!!!!!........Let me go right now " She stated almost yelling. She turned to Mary " Get the police now!" She told her Mary ran off to get them. Layola got sick and tired " let me go ........forgive me God for what I am about to do" She stated she then pouched him in the eye and kneed him in his man era. Once he let go she took off running * king or not that man is out of his mind.* She ran fast as fast as possible she ran too the church which was empty and she closed the door she then hid behind a statue of Jesus " God help me"

"Go get her." Klaus mumbled, kneeling on the ground. This made him even more upset. There was no way a little girl was going to get away after acting like this. He wasn't worried about the police, after all he owned the police. As his older cousins went after the girl his younger one knelled next to him. "Geez...That was a first." Klaus glared at him. "She won't get away with this. She will be my bride."

Mauve slowed her horse, moving off it and walking over to the girl. If she had it her way she would have turned into a wolf right there and then and killed the girl. But her cousin's word was law. She hated seeing him upset. "Girl, I am not in the mood for hide and seek. If it was up to me I would kill you. come now or we can play my way." She was tall and lean with long blond hair and angry blue eyes. Her gown fluttered around her.

Layola dumped into Mary " Thank God you found the police ......" Mary looked at Layola and frowned " Calm down remember about your heart ....you could die." LAyola tried to but when she saw the blond girl getting close she grabbed a baseball bat " Leave me alone I have done nothing!!!!!!!" She said in an angry manner. Layola suffered from a sever heart condition she could easily die if she had one of her chest pains again which caused her to pass out each time. She backed up all the way to the farthest part of the church with Mary she stayed as quite as could be hopping she would not be seen.

Mauve chuckled. "Girl, like I said. I am not in the mood to play hide and seek. It's much too easy for me." She pulled out two long bladed daggers and grinned. A slap on her back caused her to drop the weapons. "Klaus said catch, not kill. Come on sister." Jim mumbled. He was only thirteen and nothing like his sister or cousin. Mostly because had yet to have his first change and acted more kindly towards humans.

Mauve growled a low cuss and stormed from the building into the doorway. "Please just come with us. Klaus needs a wife or he could lose this land to cruel murderers! If they do take over this will be the first place to be burned. So for the safety of everyone, please just come. It won't so bad. Klaus is good...You just have to see past his act." Jim said. He picked up his sister's daggers and threw them back to her.

Mary Came out " Leave please before ......she gets another one of her illnesses please........." Mary spoke to the one seeming to be kind. " She will.......di......" Suddenly Layola screamed in pain she placed her hand over her chest gasping she looked at Mary " Mary......do you have the pills...." Mary ran over to her " No sorry you are all out ...please do not die.......hang in there......it will be over soon....." Layola nodded..." Do not get killed ....John your soon to be husband will never forgive me..." She stated as she soon passed out. Mary began to panic even more " No.....no!!! wake up Layola!!!!!!!" She turned to them " She has to get to the doctors now or she will die"

"Come then, we will take her." Jim said, pointing to his horse. "Please. We mean no harm." He said. Mauve watched, wondering if a simple bite would cure the illness. She got on her horse and ran back to Klaus to tell him of the events. It was now up to Jim to stay and watch them. He got on his horse and held out his hands to the girls. "Give her to me, please!" He said.

Klaus sat on a wooden box with Mauve standing in front of him. "Men are weak." She snickered. Klaus waved his hand at her. "Shut up would you. I can't listen if you are snapping away." She glared down at the king and rolled her eyes.

" No I am sorry but we have to take her to her doctor who's office is down the street he can give her the pills to keep her alive.....please if not she will die soon..........." She stated she began to help get Layola up. Layola began to come back a bit " its getting worse each time Mary......it hurt badly...." She said upset. " Tell them to leave us alone.......God......we should have never stepped outside today. " She stated angrily. Mary looked at her " Can you walk?" She asked her " Yes....but I still need those pills......" She stated " I need Dr. Markus " She stated as she began to make her way towards the doctors office. Once she got in there she went over to her doctor and passed out in his arms. Mary ran in soon after " Its worse ....." The doctor nodded " I can see I will have to keep her over night" He stated.

(( her illness will stay with her.....so not biting lol))

Jim followed after them, keeping an eye on the situation. Klaus stood up and grabbed onto his horse's reins. " Jim?" Jim shook his head, hearing his cousin call him. He sighed and turned around, going after his cousin. "What is going on?" Klaus asked. Mauve glared at her younger brother. "She's at a clinic. She has some illness." Klaus nodded. "has she left yet?" Jim shook his head. "She is staying overnight." Klaus nodded. "Mauve, how about you go under cover for me and keep a close eye on her? No weapons this time." Mauve sighed. "Fine."

(By biting I was talking about being bit by a werewolf which would not only change her but cure her of anything she had.)

LAyola woke up a couple of hours later in a hospital bed. She looked at Mary...who was sitting in a chair next to the bed.
" Hey Mary......please tell me that some crazy man did not ask me to marry him to day and that I did not hit him....." Mary frowned " I am sorry but that did happen " She said as she began to hold her best friends hand. LAyola got up off the bed " Then I am leaving town come on you have to help me get out of this place."

-I wasn't going to change her. Don't worry.-

Klaus hated it but headed back to his home. He was tried from his long day of traveling. He retired to his room, not saying a word to anyone. He passed out as soon as his head hit the pillow.

Mauve tied up her hair and changed into the nurse's uniform. She leaned against the door, listening to the two. She cleared her throat. "Visitor hours are over." She used her thick Russian accent that she rarely spoke. She moved aside, waiting for the second girl to leave before moving in on the wanted girl.

Layola frowned and hugged Mary. " Just in case I never seen you again...I want you to know that I love you like a sister....." Mary nodded " I love you as a sister as well." The young girls hugged each other. Then Mary kissed her cheek and left walking out of the hospital and back to her home. Layola kneeled by her bed and began to do what she did every night and wanted to do for the rest of her life.....pray.

Mauve opened the door. "Get in bed." She mumbled still using her accent. She crossed her arms and leaned against the now locked door. "My name is Mauve." She threw a bottle of pills toward the kneeling girl. "You will come with me. Klaus will never give up. Not until you marry him." She sighed trying to calm down. "This marriage will not only save the town but gives you the chance to do good."
