The alarm clock began to drone on noisily and in an effort to shut the evil device up, Midnight reached over to press Awake. She, with great effort, got up from beneath the sunflower yellow bed cover and trudged over to the big wooden wardrobe. Pulling out a red pair of 'skank-pants', more commonly known as hotpants and a white t-shirt. Putting them on she slid into her favourite white converse and began to comb her messy brown hair until it sat in it's natural straight state, she clipped her fringe to the side of her head out of the way and put on make-up.
" Por la mañana mamá. Por la mañana papá. Estoy de vacaciones." She said bounding through the door that led to her mothers cafe. She grabbed a doughnut from the display case and stealing a cup of coffee, kissed her mother and waved to her father before running out the door to get to the bus stop on time. The sun hit her with it's very bright rays and she was blinded...which led her to crash into her garbage can. She did stick the landing though...

As she was walking down to the bus stop, Piper noticed the annoying boys. They always laughed at her and made fun of her, apart from Ty, of course, he just looked away. She got out her ipod, plugged her ears in, and cranked the volume up to maximum. Now with Tokio Hotel blasting in her ears, she walked past the guys confidently, unaware of their shouting and laughing. Settling herself in her usual bus stop corner she waited for the bus, Ke$ha now blasting in her ears.

"Hola Chica!" Midnight called to Isla, a budding singer although she did choir and Midnight was in the 'Glee' club they were still cool with each other. She jumped down from the Matteson's garden wall she walked along every morning and landed beside her scaring her into a possible coma. "Bus here yet?"

Piper saw the usual happenings of the morning late bus wait. All girls gossiped, all guys rated who was hot or not etc.. all except Piper herself, she was a complete outsider. In all schools she went to in the past she never fitted in... she had hoped this time would be different. But know one understands what she has been through.
All she held onto was the hope that Ty would notice her a little more and maybe be her friend...
Through the bashing music in her ears she still heard the roaring of the ancient yellow school bus driving up the road. Everyone jumped up ready to push through everyone to get the good seats, exept Piper. She always waited last and usually had to sit next to some stinky ucky freak.

The bus pulled up infront of Midnight and Isla and they finished their contraversy over Choir songs being boring and in worship of God. They boarded and Isla sat with her cousin Molly leaving Midnight to step over the few bags of the few people on the bus at the moment and find a seat near the back. She waved to people she recognised and avoided contact with the cheerleader's posse. It eas coinsidered death penalty to stare at them, like Medausa. Sitting down at the very back near the jocks, who were discussing the weekend game on SPN.
"Morning Ty, Brock, Sam. Hey Jake." She smiled.
"Alright?" They all chorused.
"All good. Good game, eh? Lakers 12 points above! Woop." She grinned. They grinned back goofily, "You watch football?"

Today Piper was lucky enough to find a seat by herself, it was right in front of the jocks but she didn't care. She unplugged her ears, turned off her ipod and listened to MFR. Gino and Nikki were talking about Teddy Bear week at MFR and all kids should upload pics of their teddy. She snorted and watched out the window as the scenery changed from the calm quite countryside-ish to the busy academy town -ish...

Midnight watched as the new-ish kid sat down a seat or so infront of her. She heard the Jocks picking at her, "Look at her she's so weird! She's such a loner!"
Midnight turned round to them and raised her eye brows and frowned. "Shut up, you guys! You're so mean."
"So, what are you going to do about it?" Jake grinned.
"You do realise that I have been taking Kick Boxing and Taekwando since I was four. I could kick your ass." She smiled.

Piper was about to turn round and thank the girl... how strange? No-one has stuck up for her before. Though she was a little sad the jocks were picking on her, Ty included. She smiled when the girl said she could kick their asses.
Piper hoped that she could get the chance to thank the girl once they got off the bus.

"Yo! Yo! Yo! Whassup my homies??" Ethan grinned striding up to the back of the bus. He was the biggest, blackest boy on the football team. He was huge, muscle clad and ffiinnee. Or that's what his Facebook was like.
"Hola chico." She smiled and went about scribbing her Chemistry homework done.

Five more minutes and the bus would arrive precisely 12 minutes late at school. Late for registration again. Piper sighed and checked her homework diary in case she had forgotten anything. Her homework was all done as usual, but she forgot her script for drama...

Ethan carried Midnight's jacket and soccer boots bag off the bus for her while she hastily stuffed her chemistry books away in her bag. Once all evidence of late homework was hidden she retreived her jacket and soccer boots from Ethan and ran to the office witht he rest of the late pupils to get a late slip before Mr.Moron, it was so amusing that it mde Midnight giggle everytime she heard the support announce his name at assembleys, incinerated them for being late.

Piper got her usual late slip and got it signed and there done, she checked her timetable. She sighed in relief, she just had a spare first! So she didn't miss anything. She got out her library pass and went to the library to study what she'd missed last day in Biology.
She sat down at one of the far end tables near the childrens corner. Bianca the librarian nodded and smiled at her, "Hi!" she smiled back.

"Hmmmh, free period. Finish Chemistry homework in Library... Ty, dude! Did you finish Chemistry?" Midnight called to the football player with his boyish charms and cute baby face. He brought out his little Ipod Touch and searched through the app Midnight added to it in previous weeks and raised his head, "Well, I haven't and thank fuck I have a spare! Help me?"
Midnight half-smiled and raised and eyebrow, "Don't I always. Let's hit it."
"I gotta bounce, dawgs. If I'm more than twenty minutes late, Imma be grinding my balls on a sandbelt. Evan the G out!" Evan made a peace out sign and ran up the hallway with the rest of the football team.
Midnight grabbed Ty's arm and led him in the direction of the library to educate him on his Chemistry skills.

Piper looked up at the clock, stil aaages to go before class. She was so bored, she'd finished Biology and Chemistry and French. Nothing else to do. She was about to look away when she saw Ty and the nice girl from the bus. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw Ty but she looked away quickly and pretended to be writing lots of Chemistry notes.

"Yes, we have to sit here." Midnight stated and then commanded Ty to sit down at a table close to the librarian desk, she waved to Bianca.
He slumped down in the chair reluctantly, "The librrarian does NOT like me. I egged her car."
"Other people do that do they not?"
"Uh yeah....but not to her new convertable..."

Piper sighed, Ty was seated far away from her... at least he was facing her sort of...
She looked up and looked at him, he was listening to the other girl intensly and jotting down notes. She looked at his face, high cheekbones nice wide eyes a realy goreous smile.
Just then he looked up, that second of eye contact made Piper blush and look away quickly.

"Right, Ty Homework done, so stop making the girl have a panic attack." Midnight grinned, Ty turned around to her, "What do you mean?"
"Did you see her have an orgasm/blush from you looking at her?? Sheesh, boys are so unobservant..." Midnight muttered.

Piper was fed up waiting for the bell to ring, she packed away her books and decided to go for a walk outside. Fresh air would do her good. She still had 20 minutes before Biology.
She stood up, "Bye Bianca!" she waved and smiled at Biance who returned the wave and smile. Once out of the library she sighed in relief.

"I am sorry! I don't do these things on purpose!" Ty defended himself paking away his Chemistry jotter. "Who is she anyways?"
"The girl from the bus you crushed." Midnight stated while brushing her hair back into place. She watched the girl leave. "I think she's a little new, last week or so?"

Outside Piper walked to the big oak and sat down in its shade. It was such a hot day today. "Urgh..." Her throat was dry and she'd forgotten a drink, great.
She rested her head against its trunk and closed her eyes, she thought about everything that had happened. Moving to a new school was proving more difficult than her parents or her thought. She had been here for a week and still had no friends apart from the librarian... wonderful.

The bell rang out in the library and Bianca ushered the spares out to class, Ty had History, Midnight had Drama. They nodded to each other and smiled as they 'Brohugged' before seperating and going their seperate ways up the halls. Walking into the ampitheatre, Ms Deadulus grinned, "Good morning, children! Today we have new plays to plan, practice and perfect!"

Piper was already waiting outside her biology class when the bell rang. Once in class she sat at the far back corner, away from the other kids.
Mr.Hupker settled everyone down, "Now today we are going to do some teamwork and disect a frog." Many students grunted and groaned at this point, but Piper was looking forward to this.
The teacher announced all pairs and told them which table they should go to, Piper was paired with a girl called Steph.

"A modern day Romeo and Juliette? Drivebys and Ballroom Parties?" Midnight grinned at Ms Deadulus. "Cool, Ms."
"Naturally we will have auditions, Romeo will be next week on tuesday and Juliette on Friday. Remember that the other classes will try out too."

"Hi," Piper introduced herself to Steph as best as she could. Steph smiled and picked up the tools needed and they made their way to the side table.
"You chose the frog." Steph said. Piper chose the biggest frog, it would give them a bigger chance of seeing everything properly.

The end bell rung and Mr.Hupker quickly rushed everyone to tidy up. Piper was very pleased with this lesson, she'd found a friend and had learned the inside outs of frogs. she smiled to herself.
"You want to hang out with me at break?" steph asked, she wasn't shy but she wasn't very outgoing either... she kept herself to herself, but talked to everyone. Piper hadn't noticed her before today.
