Convince Yourself: that it's not real When the wolf’s eyes glow before you, while the vampires teeth graze your neck, and creatures lurk beyond.
For your own reasons, you’ve applied for a position in a new company called Homun co. Though you’re not sure what the company itself is your position is a simple one, and man does it pay, so what does it matter? The town is a nice looking place, aside from the Central Inn which seems to stick out like a sore thumb as the most high tech looking building there. The people are nice though some of them do give you a weird vibe, dress strangely, or give you weird looks.
What you don’t know though, Homun co. is owned by a homunculus, an immortal fake human. The purpose of the company is the safety and wellbeing of non-humans. To keep some of it’s customers happy they’ve brought in a new product, you. So you will now be working in the homes of these non-humans, hopefully you’re not for dinner.
The conditions for non-humans are these: The non-human’s can not give away what they are (Unless the human is ordered for the purpose of companion or mate). They can not eat the humans (unless the human was specifically ordered for that purpose). They can not turn the human (unless the human is going to be their mate).
Of course, rules do sometimes get broken… don’t they?
Congratulations! You’re hired. Now all that’s left is for you to move into the area you’re new job is. Room and board is provided by the company, but you will have to move your belongings in for yourself as the rooms are mostly unfurnished. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Foxton Woods is a quaint little place, rather secluded, but that just adds to the small town feel. You’re accommodations will be in the newly built Central Inn. It’s aptly named for being in the center of town, you can’t miss it. The locals are all friendly and will gladly help you if need assistance.
You’ll find your tickets for the plane enclosed. I will be there to meet you and the company’s other new employees at the airport.
Yours Truly,
Miss. Avada Zeveran

Avada checked her watch, there was still time. The first shipment was due to arrive soon in the form of two young ladies. Looking over the list of orders and compairing the profiles she had dug up on the two, she picked the best matches. Mia Renalde would be sent to Lord Tamashi, she frowned slightly. Perhaps that match-up would be best as a trial basis. Though she had been deemed best as food, preferably for a vampire due to her blood type, Avada wasn't particularly fond Lord Tamashi. She doubted that he wouldn't tramatize the girl. Then there was Tiffany Fe'Lance who she dubbed a suitable mate for Riker Ackerman, the vamp from Europe. It would of course come down to how well the two got along. After all, she could bring in the humans, she couldn't ethically make them love someone. Straitening her dress suit Avada entered the bagage claim of the airport to await their arrival, she nodded at the employees as they passed. Most of the staff at the airport were sirens, a fact that she found amusing. As she waited she wondered how alert the freash meat would be.

Tiffany arrived and was nervous about her surroundings. She entered the airport and looked around trying to spot her employer. Without fail, she wandered to get her things and realized someone waiting. Tiffany bowed in respect figuring that she was whom she was looking for. "Ms. Zeveran? - I am Tiffany Fe'Lance. It's nice to meet you." She held out her hand to shake, but felt an awkwardness and retrieved her hand back.
"There's something.. Strange about this place, Sorry I don't mean to be rude." She bowed her head lightly and then looked around "I heard there was another new employee you were waiting on, so I'll wait along side you" She said with a gentle smile. Tiffany couldn't shake off the feeling that everyone around had been eying her since she'd arrived.. Still she perked her shoulders and looked over to Ms. Zeveran.
"Is it your estate that I'll be serving within?" Tiffany asked curiously, she applied for house keeping- because she was well with cleaning; and what not. And being hired, she believed she would be working straight with Avada..

(( Beat me to the punch xD One moment... ))

Mia looked away as someone stopped at her plane seat. She hated it when people just looked at her. "Excuse me miss, do you want anything to drink? You haven't taken anything on the entire way." Mia looked up to find an Airplane attendant staring down at her and smiling with her pretty pink glossy lips. Mia frowned and shook her head, then looked away, letting her leave. When the plane landed, she stood up, stretched, and grabbed her purse from above her, then was the first one out of the plane.
She was going to be a maid. Though it didn't bother her, the job title, she was a bit foggy on what she would be doing. Cleaning was a must, she was sure, maybe a few other things. There was also a nice little place for her to stay as well. Things were looking good for her.
She stopped by a small coffee shop to get a hot latte, then wondered around to baggage claim where she was told she would meet someone. As she slowly looked arund, her slim fingers played with the edges of her skirt. I hope they don't think I'm some silly teenager just because of the way I dress... She caught sight of her bag, sighed and picked it up, throwing it over her back, then with her purse in hand, she began to walk again, still searching for someone to recognize her.

Avada found herself quite pleased with Tiffany, and could only hope Riker would appreciate the girl's manners as much as she did. She felt a slight touch of concern at the girl's discomfort with the area. The sirens that worked here could pass as humans easily, it was probably just the curious stares that set her off. After all, it was rare to see new faces, let alone normal humans. Avada figured she'd have to talk to them about that. "I am Avada, it's a pleasure to meet you. You'll be working for a client of mine, Mr.Riker Ackerman. That is for another day though, today I'll just be getting you to you're rooms." She scanned the room for the other girl, between the usual hustle of creatures prepairing for a trip to the normal world or those who have just come back it was slightly buisy. It was a holliday though, at least for Foxton Woods, and so there were a few buisnesses that had taken off for the weekend.
"Miss.Avada, if you're looking for a little lost lamb I believe I saw one over that way." David, a werewolf and the man she had appointed as manager of the airport, said as he passed. As it wasn't a full moon though, David appeared as nothing more than a normal man who had rather course shaggy black hair.
Giving him a nod in thanks she led Tiffany in the direction David had gestured. Sure enough there was another human, this one looking a bit lost. " Miss.Mia Renalde?" She questioned.

Mia was in the middle of a large drink from her latte when heard her name being said. She swallowed quickly and coughed slightly, looking over to see a buisness-casually dressed woman with lovely facial features smiling at her. Mia couldn't help but make a small smile herself since the woman just oozed niceness. "Yes, that would be me." She nodded, walking over and bowing at the waist for a second. "I assume you are Ms. Avada, my employer?" She asked, seeing another girl next to her. She must be another worker for the company, than. She thought, since while the girl seemed very polite, she didn't seem like she was in charge, like Ms. Avada did.
Riker lounged on his couch, flipping through the channels to his brand new flat screen television. "Really?" He yawned. "Over seven thousand channels and I can't find one bloody thing interesting!?" He sighed and tossed the remote onto another chair in his living room, then turned on his back and stretched.
He had just placed an order for a human mate yesterday, and from what he heard about the place, orders came fast. So he had been prepared for a knock on the door at any moment. He knew the human wouldn't arrive for a good few days, if what he thought was correct, but he was sure whoever it would be, Foxton Woods would choose wisely so not to tick him off...
There was a small 'ding'' from his kitchen and he groaned. "Why do I even need a kitchen?" He asked, getting up anyways and walking over. He remembered putting a blood bag into his microwave and nodded. "Right... Right..." He opened the door and pulled out the warm red slushy bag. "Lovely, just lovely." He grinned, letting his fangs protrude and biting hungrily into the bag. It wasn't as good from the source, but blood was blood, and with the rules at Foxton Woods, he promised himself to stay out of trouble.

Tiffany nodded and followed, and turned her attention to mia, bowing her head with a polite smile but hadn't spoke out of terms. She wandered quietly thinking about this Riker- she didn't know what to expect. 'A client of hers, it seems more like..' She shook the thought out of her mind and continued.
Tiffany wanted to tap onto Avada shoulder to ask her something, she was curious to know 'When will I meet this Ackerman- Riker?' She held her hands together and close to her chest and instead spoke softly "I don't mean to be so curious- it's just part of my nature.." Tiffany tilted her head slightly "What is he like, are there certain things I need to know before hand?" Tiffany ask quietly.
Tiffany wasn't use to working for someones client- it was rare for her to even fill for such a job. In her case, she needed it, or she would have no where to be. Tiffany looked over to Mia the other young employee they'd been waiting for, she'd seen her before on the plane. The girl was only a few seats ahead from her, but it seemed that the miss was more kept to herself. Tiffany decided that it would be best to just keep her attention onto Miss Avada instead.
'Would it be wrong, to ask if she had any sort of photograph of Mr. Ackerman?' She asked herself.

"I am, it's a pleasure to meet you." Avada said to Mia then noting that the two had their bags she continued, "As you two seem to have you're belongings in order I'll be taking you to your rooms now." When Tiffany asked her question Avada smiled, "I don't have the information on me, but my assistant will be by after you two are settled in. He'll be giving you a full tour as well as answering any questions about the people who's houses you'll be working in. If you'll follow me." She led them swiftly out of the airport and to a sleek black car where a demon bus boy was waiting to load their luggage in the back. "The airport itself is seperated from the town a bit. It's so the residence don't have to listen to planes taking off day in and out."
Mikey kicked his bike stand up and left the motercycle by the side of the road. Today Avada had him running all over Foxton Woods. It really was a good thing he didn't pay for his own gas on work days. This was his first stop and it promised to be much better than the next. Lord Tamashi quite honestly gave him many kinds of heebe jeebies. This stop however was for Riker. Walking up to the door he knocked on it and waited patiently. After all the longer this took the shorter he could make his next stop.

Tiffany nodded and then fell silent as she had followed Avada and Mia. She had allowed the bus boy to take her things and had slid into the car, still being a young adult she didn't know whether or not being here was her best idea- but she had plenty time to debate the issue..
Within her mind the thought continued to tick 'Riker, it doesn't seem like a real name- well then again it could be foreign.. Or.. What if it was a nickname?' Tiffany couldn't shake the thoughts away, as much as she tried thinking of something else- Mr. Ackerman would pop back into her mind. 'What if he's rude.. Or what if..' She closed her eyes and sighed. 'What if he's a grumpy old rich man?'
She looked over, outside of the open door and waited for Mia and Avada to enter. She hadn't wanted to to mention what was going through her head, so she offered her hand out to Mia to help her into the back "What have you applied yourself for Miss Mia?" She asked quietly and curiously.
Tiffany patted the seat next to her and smiled "I've applied as house keeper, it's something I haven't done in ages but I have the experience, and I don't mind looking after people- just as long as they aren't rude.." She quivered lightly feeling slightly odd and tried shaking it off "I'm not use to moving away from where I was born, this is the first time I've traveled anywhere" She finished with a tense of shoulders.

"Just walking down the street.... doom dum dee.... I'm hers.... mine," Gretta, who had been singing rather loudly to herself, slowly grew silent as almost every piece of baggage that could be found in baggage claim was picked up. It wasn't long before more suitcases, duffle bags, and packages found their way onto the conveyer belt, but non of them were Gretta's. Standing there, chewing on cuffs of the dress suit she wore underneath her gray baggy sweater, she shifted her weight from stalking-clad leg to stalk-clad leg. Along with the deep blue pencil skirt and buckled leather shoes, she looked sharp, if not a little vacuous.
After several minutes, however, she grinned abruptly, slamming a fist into the opposite palm. "That's right!" she exclaimed, "I didn't bring any luggage save for a backpack. Now where is that?" Once again fidgety, she looked around, turning a complete three-hundred and sixty degrees before finding her luggage on the floor next to her.
Swinging it onto one shoulder, she grinned and looked around for the person who was supposed to be picking her up, all the while humming to herself.

Avery was back at Avada's Mansion. She was setting a few things up, plus making sure everything was ready for the incoming guests. Not only that, but a few deliveries needed a signature on them. So Avery was setting that up for the Miss. She was just walking threw the main room. A clipboard in her hand, and a pen in the other. Not that Avery was completely sure was in the boxes. She was only told to sign them in. She slid a hand threw her long brown hair.
Today Avery wore a pair of black pants, and a plain white dress shirt on top. She also had a black sweatshirt on though, since she was a bit chilly. The loading docks got that way at times. Although now she was to meet Avada as the airport. The new girls coming in would have already been there, or at least they should have been. While going outside, and getting into the car, Avery thought back to when she had first come to the town.
It was a few years ago after all. Maybe two or three. Although she did not know much of the townspeople since she was taking care of the human girls with most of the time. She stayed mostly inside of cars, or inside of buildings. Almost like she was being protected from something on the outside. Not that she paid much attention to that anymore. Avery arrived at the airport. Stepping out with a pair of heels. She was a short girl, so heels gave her a bit more height. Avery stood and waited by the car. Knowing where the Misses would be standing inside.

"Maybe they're waiting for me outside," Gretta pondered, shifting the weight of her backpack while continuing on about how it would be nice to have some fresh air anyway and how it stunk so much on the plane that she though she's have passed out. Did anyone else get that feeling to? Or was it just her? Probably not because so many other people were going on about it to. You'd think that someone would have done something about that by now. Maybe they were working on something right now....
Every once in awhile someone would push past her, disheveling her, offering an apology, and then quickly moving on their way. And sometimes not even that. Gretta didn't mind though, she herself was deep in intellectual thought about how to improve the air quality of an airplane; she just couldn't be bothered by other people, unless, of course, one of them wanted to talk.

Avada's cellphone let out a quiet little beep and she pulled it out of her pocket, scanning the device she raised an eyebrow at the message before her. One of the girls had arrived early? Just as well she supposed. She was about to turn around when she spotted Avery at the other company vehical. "Miss. Avery, it seems we have an early arrival. I'm going back inside to collect her, would you please get Miss. Fe'Lance and Miss. Renalde to the Inn and brief them on who they'll be working for once they're settled in."
"Hey, Mr. Riker! You in?" He called ringing the doorbell. Mikey shifted from foot to foot and ran a hand through his messy redish brown hair. If he had to wait too much longer he'd need to leave a note and move on to Lord Tamashi's. Looking back towards the town Mikey couldn't help but smile. This place had been his home for as long as he could remember. Despite being in the middle of nowhere it was rather active. Even at night, not that he ventured out often at that time, there was always something going on. In fact this evening there was going to be a festaval in celebration of the town's opening, as it was who knows how many years ago today that the town had opend to it's first inhabitants. He had seen the decorating crew on his way to Mr. Riker's. A particularly vibrant witch and her family had been stringing up lights on main street. Some vendors were also setting up stalls with what seemed to be some particularly interesting games. He wondered if Avada would be inviting the new girls to the festival or if Avery would be comming, this would be the first time she had the opertunity.

"Super sigh," Gretta yawned, stretched, and continued mumbling to herself as people pushed past her, never really coming from the same direction. "Geeze, everyone here is like an ant. Hmm, not really, actually. Ants are more organized, these people would be a whole swarm of mosquitoes or flies, something like that. Though I don't think anyone here would feed off of garbage or suck blood. But saying that means I'm taking my simile all too literal, but aren't similes supposed to be literal? Or am I thinking of idioms? No, wait, idioms are weird confusing sayings, so similes would be..."
Losing sight of her reasoning, Gretta became quiet. Soon, however, her silence was broken with a cry of dismay; while talking to herself she had also been moving with the current of the surrounding population. "How could I be so obtuse!" she cursed herself, quickly trying to peek over the crowd and get a general understanding of where she was. After a minute, she deduced that she was near security line for departing passengers. And after another minute, recognized a course to bring her back to the baggage claim.
"Hopefully I didn't leave whomever is picking me up waiting for long," thinking this, she made her way back to the revolving conveyor belt and luggage.

Avada, trusting that Avery had heard her or would manage on her own at least, made her way back to the airport and the bagage claim. Looking around she spotted the unexpected arrival. The girl seemed to be in mid rant about something and barely aware of those that bumped into her. As the girl walked to the conveyor belt Avada walked over to her. What was her name? She had only brought the profiles for the two she had been planning to pick up. She vaguely remembered the face though and thought over what she remembered. No luck, she couldn't recall the name just that she was to be a secritary until they could find someone to match her with. After all it was nice to have a stock of merchandise rather than needing to wait for orders to come in.
"Excuse me, Miss." Avada spoke getting closer to the girl, "Are you by chance here for a job at Homun co.?"

(( Sorry its been awhile. Its hard to get to a computer on weekdays. ^^" I hope this is god enough to catch up. Shout at me if I did something wrong or need to tweak something ))
Mia sat down next to Tiffany after she patted the seat next to her. Her bags had already been taken care of- except her purse which sat neatly in her lap at the moment. "I'm doing practically the same." She shrugged, seeing how tense she was. "Maid." She coughed uncomfortably, seeing Tiffany's shoulders relax and slightly smiling. "I understand. I haven't really lived any where else either so this is my first time all on my own, for real. Like, its really hard." She sighed, feeling like a stupid angsty teenager... Which is what she really thought she was, but tried not to be. "Well, I look forward to working with you miss Tiffany. If you need anything just say." She shrugged, then leaned back in the seat, closing her eyes, but not sleeping. When Mrs. Avada left to go take care of some other buisness, Mia straightened up and yawned. Jet lag was catching on, but she knew she couldn't sleep. So she peeked over to Tiffany and smirked. "So... Where exactly are you from?" She asked curiously, unsuccessfully trying to figure out where she could get such strange clothes.
Riker heard the door. No way did he want to answer it though, since he halfway knew what to expect. So he tossed in another blood bag into the microwave, turned on the timer and went back to his couch, opening a book and waiting on his artificial meal. When the dinger went off again, Riker stood up and began walking over to the kitchen to retrieve it. There was another knock at the door, and this time a voice. A young man's voice. Riker groaned and rolled his eyes. "Fine..." He mumbled under his breath and went to the door. When he opened it, he frowned. "Yes. I am Mr. Ackerman. What can I help you with, son?" He asked impatiently.

"Oh," Gretta, swiveling around on her heel, faced the woman who had spoken to her. Most people would have been surprised or taken away if torn from such intense thought that Gretta was experiencing, but she was quick when it came to speaking and switching subjects, so she was able to answer the smartly dressed woman without hesitation. "Yes, I am. Are you the one who's picking me up? Or are you another new employee? It would be so cool because," she stopped herself, took in a deep breath and exhaled before continuing again. "Sorry, I become off-topic very easily. My name's Gretta, Gretta Dolmin." Swinging her arm forward, she held out her hand to the woman.

((It's okay I know how that goes *I just had to pace back and forth waiting for a computer to free up just a moment ago* >.< tiz a pain))
Mikey looked back at the door when it finnally opened. "Ah, Mr. Riker. I'm Mikey from Homun co. I'm here about you're delivery. She just came in today, her name is Tiffany Fe'Lance and this file has some extra statistics on her that you may find useful." He held out the file, "Just so you know she'll be settling in tonight but she should be by sometime tomorrow. Plus she'll be working as your maid. As for her schedual that is up to you. Any questions?"

Tiffany tilted her head curiously "I'm from Salem. I mean- everyone there is up to date, I prefer to be a bit more, different?" She felt a bit strange and sighed "Salem use to be a problem area- with all the burnings and hanging of 'Witches' but now it's one of the most populated area to study witchcraft. I'm one of them- what I wear, are my great grandmother's old clothes. She was the last woman in Salem to be burned; I kept her legacy going because my grandmother, and my mother have also studied in demonology and witchcraft." Tiffany stared out the window and frowned slightly.
"Since arrival, it just hasn't felt right.. I don't know; maybe it's just what I was use to, and now being in a different surrounding I feel that everyone around is simply strange. When in reality- I'm the one thats strange" Tiffany looked back at Mia and slightly smiled "I apologize if I weird you out, I just like to hear myself talk sometimes- due to the fact I'm always stuck in a home far off from society" She giggled lightly.
Tiffany had the thought of Ackerman run through her head again "So- what do you think Ms. Avada's clients will be like? I'm kind of nervous" She admitted quietly

Mia decided that Tiffany wasn't all that bad of a girl. Of course she thought she was a little strange, but who wouldn't think that Mia wasn't strange? "Salem, eh? Interesting..." She nodded as she listened to Tiffany closely. She had always been told that she was a good listener, but never had she believed anyone until now. Mia remained silent until Tiffany asked what she thought their employers would be like. Mia sighed and closed her eyes. "Well... This is a nice company. They have the money to be doing all of this for employees like us, right?... So... The employers must be loaded with cash. Rich people. That's what I think." She shrugged. "What about you? Are you worried or something?" She asked.
Riker listened to the boy and nodded. "Oh, right... Uhm... Excellent news, thank you my boy." He said, blinking a few times. "I do have one question, however." He said, taking the file from the human boy's hands and nodding in thanks. "You know what, nevermind it. You may go about your buisness." He sighed, offering out his free hand to shake.

Tiffany sank into the seat and held herself lightly "I'm just worried that her client is some perverted old man" She chuckled though, it was her own little joke; but still that could be just it. Tiffany shrugged her shoulders and sat back up, then leaning against the window as she stared out "I have a problem with some people, well, it depends.."
Tiffany closed her eyes "There are people today in Salem, that still have beliefs that burning a witch would cleanse that place- so judgmental people don't do to well with me; then again- that makes me a hypocrite because I judge them for judging me.." She frowned and stared at her shoes
"Maybe that's why I lost my last job.. My employer didn't like me- even though I was his best; he just didn't like me because of what I studied, then him and I got into a fight- so he fired me because I told him he was wrong" She sniffled and twiddled her fingers "I just hope this Mr. Ackerman isn't the same, hopefully he's more understanding.." She said softly

((Yeah we are arguing in person in case you were wondering >.<))
Lord Tamashi paced back and forth in his bed chambers occasionally looking out the window in irritation. The birds were finally flying south for the winter. The cold air didn't bother him to much. He looked behind him as he heard something stir behind him he saw his beloved little cat demons Juga and Nobu snuggled together. A smile came to his usually sorrowful face at the site of them behaving (they usually fought in their sleep.) "Well i guess its not to bad i just wish they had someone to play with............i hope they get her here soon."

((The Salem thing made me laugh. Not in a bad way, but the witch burnings didn't happen in now a day Salem. It happened in a small town nearby. Tourists get so upset when they find that they are in the wrong town all the time! xD *Side note* I'm not saying this to be a bitch, I live less than 20 minutes from Salem MA, so I always get excited when others mention it. I'm pretty much like YAY! Oh! And Salem is STILL a problem area. The religious nuts come out every Halloween. Enough said there..))
Avery Had been leaning against the car. Watching the people pass. Most were in a hurry. Wanting to get where they wanted to go. And now was the issue. Many though Avery would speak to. They were well known clients to Avada. Normally they would go threw Avery to get to Avada after all. One man in particular stopped and spoke to Avery. He was a sweet old man. Much like everyone's grandfather in a way. He went on his way just as Avada came out. Asking a small favor.
"Yes, no problem in the least bit. I'll get them settled in." Avery told Avada. sliding a hand threw her hair as her boss left to hunt the other person down. Avery looked to the two girls. Still completely in conversation. Not that Avery would interrupt them. They had a lot to talk about, although it could wait. Gaining friends was important in this business.
Avery got into the car after words, knocking on the divided window to allow the driver to know to start driving. Which he did. Having to wait a few moments to pull away from the curb and peel out into traffic. He was listening to their conversation. Learning just a small bit about the girls before she would speak. Which she waited to do so.
"I hope you two had a grand flight." Avery finally said. She was supposed to be very good with people. Starting conversations was normally something she was good at also. "My name is Avery Whiten, I work for Avada as her Operations Manager, and assistant at times."
