Hey guys! I'm really wanting to do a circus role play! I've been craving it for sometime now lol.

Anyone interested? If I get enough people I'll make a thread in the OOC with the plot and stuff:)



The current players are Cloaked Hatter and diamondt. Plus myself:)

I wouldn't mid joining, but what kind of circus are we talking here? Freak show type, regular circus show, supernaturals in hiding, etc. I'm fine with any, but I'd like to know so that I could start working on a character.

Supernaturals in hiding. There's going to be hunter type characters also.

I claim the ring master and contortionist for now. I may add another character later:)

Oh no it def won't be like that lol. It's going to be like a safe haven for supes. There's going to be hunters that are after them.

So, what kind of supernaturals are we talking about, here. Your regular, run-of-the-mill vamps, werewolves, shapeshifters, that kind of thing, or anything and everything? Cause the character that I have in mind is a demon.

To be honest, I had a nine tailed fox in mind. You know, the one that shapeshifts and has a power for each tail =o No worries, Ill give her a few useless powers to compensate ;)
Which brings me to the following: My dear fox woman loves children, for if anyone wants a character to be adopted =D

When talking of vamps, I do mean the non-sparkly kind. Those kind are not real vampires, and I will retain that point of view until I die. (No offence to Twilight fans, but I have researched supernatural beings for the last 12 years for curiosity's sake - I know what I'm talking about.)

As for the addoption thing, it might work for my character. She'd probably be 16-18 years old, though she's been at the circus for a long time.

It can be any type of supernatural creature you want. Sky's the limit lol. There can only be a few of each race though. I don't want 10 vamps running around. The more creative the better:)

The character I have in mind is a fire-demon, though she doesn't know it. She just thinks she's a pyrokinetic. There could be something that happens with a hunter and that's how she finds out.

I said kid... o.o; Teenagers don't really need parents, only advisors... though that might work, of course. I can make my fox teach your character fighting/magic/healing if you want for them to get a mother daughter relationship though ^^ Ah, I love having a teaching character lol :p Would that work?

Yes, she is quite awesome in my opinion. The woman loves innocent things, and loves ripping apart pedophiles/racists/sexists/murders etcetera. Oh, and she's slightly insane.

Probably the whole history option. She would have come to the circus at a young age; probably around 7 or 8 years old. I have a HUGE backstory for this character. I just modify her for each RP I use her in, and seeing as she's my favorite, that's a lot. If your character has been at the circus that long, then they would have deffinately developed a mother/daughter relationship in that time.

I dont know how long Crimson wants the circus to exist, but it would work depending on the circus and my character her role in said circus :P three times circus in one sentence, I feel like a 7 year old wishing to go to one again =w= Would it be possible for them to have met while a hunter was chasing your character? =o Mine could have saved your's... Would be fun to have happened.

Ok, spamming it is, then. How long has the circus been around for? It actually might influence the relationship my character has with diamondt's, so we'd like to know.

And mine with your's crimson xD :P They might know each other very well, or they don't at all. Haha xD

I haven't really figured out my characters yet. I have to do some research first. But the circus has been around for thousands of years. Always there for supe's that want to hide away together from the Hunters. It's been passed down through my ring leaders family since it began. She has been in charge of it for about 1,000 years now but she's been with it much longer. As the years go on the circus adapts with the times. But it still has a lot of the past in it. Think of it as like a museum kind of.

Mine and your character know each other since she's been in charge for so long. Anyone new she wouldn't know.

Does that sound ok to you guys? And does it make sense?

Perfect!! I think for my contortionist character she is going to have a twin that is also a contortionist. The two of them have also been at the circus for a long time.
