Anyone else play Guild Wars? If so, what campaign(s) do you have? I have prophesies and factions, but I'm thinking of picking up Nightfall and Eye of the North so I'm all caught up before Guild Wars 2 comes out.

I have the original game and Eye of the North. I've never hit 20 but I've been meaning to get more into it. I just sorta failed to ever meet anyone online to play with, less fun alone... :x

Guild Wars 2 looks AMAZING!

Yeah, I'm a little worried about the gameplay changes they're going to introduce (which seem to be fairly major), but I'm totally looking forward to getting to play as other races and such.

I think it'll be for the better, but I'm open to change. It's not like I have hundreds of fond hours on guild wars. I can't choose if I'd want the new guild wars of the new final fantasy game though. Well I cant afford to be getting myself addicted to either haha. *Resists reading updates*

I own all of the campaigns, but I've only ever gotten to level 18. :lol:
And that was on a fun little Paragon/Warrior. ;)

My disinterest in GW stems from the low level cap. I have my eyes set on a more jam-packed MMO with a level cap of 200, which... Secretly motivates me. :ninja: Plus, I find myself being more amused with tons more content in this particular MMO. :P

...Whereas, for me, Guild Wars is just a ton of questing and killing. :(
Doesn't help that I never found a guild I particularly loved, and I kept getting a bit OCD about the guild capes, on top of that. :lol: If the cape isn't good, and the guild name isn't good, I feel like it's not worth staying in. :gonk:

If anyone is interested, I've got an empty guild with a guild hall and everything that could become a sort of Mene-guild. I also run into a lot of problems with not having anyone to quest with. Would anyone here be interested in that?

My level twenty is Poison Arrow Frog, but I have other lower levels that need work. I only recently got to level twenty anyway.

Hey, wondering if any of you guys have heard about issues with NCSoft's new banning spree? My mom just lost a couple of her accounts (that she hadn't signed into in months) along with my brother's (because it was linked to her NCSoft account) and they never even told her why she was banned. The only reason she can think of is because it happened to be linked to an Aion account that she never used. And one of her friend's husbands that's currently deployed to Afghanistan is apparently having the same issue.

=/ Just wondering if this is something anyone else has encountered.

FINALLY! A GW thread! I was thinking of making one myself.

I've been playing since the first year it came out (when people were convinced girls didn't play it) and I just recently got back into it because I finally bought GW:EN in May. I have all the games.

I can't wait for the second one and I really hope I have money to get it later this year.

I'd be totally interested in a guild. I've had several people ask me in-game but I haven't really felt like joining one yet. I used to be a member of one, but I was absent for too long and they kicked me out. :(

HappyStarr: I haven't had that problem. Although, on the game they have a notice that they banned over 3000 accounts for botting stuff. Don't know why they would ban innocent ones though unless a hacker got ahold of them.

Everyone: I would be more than happy to start a new character to play alongside people. :3

Wow I've haven't heard about this at all.. I know I updated my client and checked I could sign in the other day and it seems my account is still alive. Hmmmm,

@R. Wiggly - That sounds fun! I think we should move on this guild thing! I've been debating weather to make a new character or not.

Ya, it's really odd. I didn't think they'd be going around banning people relentlessly like that. Especially not accounts that haven't had any suspicious activity for the 5 years they've been in existence. I was searching for other incidents, and I found someone else that had had a problem with NCSoft and been banned and accused of fraud when an online purchase told him it may be insecure. =/

So I guess just keep an eye out for this and be careful with any online purchases..=/

I'd be game with starting a new character as long as it's in factions or prophesies. I also have several characters in need of some serious leveling that I could use.

I can't really start any new characters, since I'm out of slots, but I'm terribly out of practice, so I could run around with you's guys and level or just generally help out. I have a couple Level 20's, some in their teens and some still fairly new characters. =/ I have a Factions mesmer that's hardly done anything because I was trying to get her that Title for getting to a certain level without dying...so she's been stuck at level 4 or something because I'm paranoid..DX

I can't find a build that appeals to me. :gonk:
They all sound too... Supportive. :shock: I guess I'm just so use to hack-n-slash and relying on a healing/supporting class. :rofl: I never play the warrior class, of course, but I do play other damage-dealing classes (typically assassin-like classes). :ninja: But yeah. D:

I'm interested in pursuing either a Me/Rt build, or... Um, I forget what else I was looking at. :sweat:

I could never really play a warrior. It seemed...too hack and slash to me? If I wanted to do that, I could pull out any number of other games. >.> I prefer to play the ones with magic and such. My initial character's a Necromancer (...I actually just thought Eve looked really cool...but now I love my nec. Especially when I use Spiteful Spirit :twisted: ), but I do have a character from each class, I believe. ...Actually, I think I'm down a Dervish. My mom got on and deleted her to make a warrior for me *sob*

Well..it turns out that I can only run the game on my brother's computer...but in the opportunities I have to get online, keep an eye out for Robyn Urgraves (my main character).

I've never been very good with melee characters. I prefer ranged and usually magical.

Also, I didn't realize everyone wanted to do something this weekend. :/ But if I missed anything, it doesn't matter. Lady Gaga is worth it. XD
