Roxas sighed lightly as he stood outside the school building. People rushed past him without really giving him a second glance. He had always hated moving and he heard from one of his cousins that this wasn't the best school to be going to. There was supposedly gang activity going on here and he really hoped he wasn't going to get caught up in it in any way. He ran a hand through his hair before making his way to the office, where he was to check in and get his schedual for the school year.

Axel stood outside of the high school with his back leaning casually against the brick wall of the building, a cigarette in his mouth. He was a junior and part of the Even Number Gang. He stood there, piercing green eyes examining the students going in the building. It was the middle of the school year and this was his spot, where he observed everything. And boy was there something to observe today. Axel watched as a new face arrived before walking into the building. A smirk appeared on his face. "Fresh meat." He said to himself. "Xiggy'll love this." Xigbar was the Even Gang's leader, being the oldest and a senior.
As Roxas entered the main office, another student was sitting there, fidgeting nervously in his seat. He had gotten into trouble for fighting. But it wasn't really his fault. He was just the scape goat for the Odd Numbers Gang, as he usually was. There were other students there as well. Roxas would have to take a number. "Hey. I haven't seen you here before." The blond mullet-head said. "Are you new?"
(( I wasn't sure about gang names, so yeah... If you want to change it that's fine. I'll add in the other characters later too. Gotta go for a bit. ))

Xigbar enjoyed spending the time before school to torment the younger students. It was always amusing to see their shocked faces when he seemed to appear out of nowhere. He caught sight of Axel and a smirk slowly grew on his face. It was time to see what was new this morning. He made his way over to him and slung an arm around the other mans' shoulders. "Hey buddy. How's it going today?"
Roxas glanced at the blonde who spoke to him. Obviously he was the one being spoken too, so he took a seat next to this nervous-looking guy. "Yeah. I just moved here a few days ago." he said, scanning the office briefly. He didn't want to wait in here too long, but it looked like it was going to be that way. It looked like there was nothing he could do, so he turned his attention back to the person sitting next to him. "My name is Roxas." he added, figuring he might as well introduce himself.
((These names are fine. ^^ I can't really think of anything for the names either.))

(( Wooow. Sorry if my last post had a ton of typos in it (fix'd them, btw). Been partying all day, coming off and on the comp. Happy New Years! XD ))
Feeling another's arms around his own shoulders, Axel looked over to see Xigbar beside him with that smirk of his on his face, asking how it was going today. Damn, how'd he do that? Always appear out of nowhere without anyone noticing him beforehand? Axel was usually so observant too. He pulled the cigarette out of his mouth and blew a puff of thick smoke out. "Almost too good to be true." He replied with his own smirk. "Looks like we got ourselves a transfer student." He dropped his almost dudded cigarette to the ground and stepped on it, squashing it out. "Heh. Pretty sheepish-lookin' too. A freshman, I'd say." Of course, only two thoughts crossed Axel's mind in regards to the new student: recruit him through brutal threats and persuasion or torment him into complete submission.
Demyx nodded to Roxas as he explained how he'd just moved to the city. A part of him felt sorry for the younger boy. This city wasn't exactly the best place, after all. It was notorious for gang activity, even in the school systems. "I'm Demyx!" The other greeted with a huge grin, holding out a hand for a handshake, honestly just happy to have finally found someone nice. Everyone else was either mean to him, used him for something gang related, or just flat out ignored him. "I'm a Junior here at Brooklyn High." He added, though he seemed more sophomore or even freshman-like in mentality. He tilted his head in question, as if trying to figure out Roxas. "Are you a freshman?"
Meanwhile, Xemnas was busy waiting at the school-ground's 'meeting spot' for the Odd Number Gang, under the home team side's bleachers of the football field. He folded his arms across his chest and tapped his foot, looking to his pocket watch every so often. He was waiting for Saix, his assumed second-in-command, having something he saw as important to discuss with the other. "Class is about to start soon. Where could he be...?" He wondered to himself, half annoyed that the other hadn't showed right on time and half worried that something had actually happened to him.

((Really? I didn't notice any typos. *not really observant ^^"* And a Happy New Year's to you too~ ^^))
Xigbar raised an eyebrow lightly, the smirk growing on his face. "A new student eh... Interesting..." He retracted his arm from around Axel's shoulders and leaned back against the brick wall behind them. He was silent for a good minute, watching as students went past them, all being sure to keep a good distance from the two. "Well... What do you think? Would he make a good recruit for our gang?" he asked, glancing curiously at Axel.
Roxas glanced at Demyx's outstretched hand for a second before hesitantly taking it. "It's nice to meet you." he said, returning the other's handshake. He pulled his hand back after a second and ran it lightly through his hair before nodding. "Yeah. I'm a freshman... Is it that obvious?" he asked. At his last school, being a freshman meant he was picked on and often a target for bullies. He kinda figured this school might be worse about it because of all the gang stuff he's been hearing.
Saix walked briskly through the schoolyard, literally pushing people out of the way when necessary. It was only early morning and he already wasn't in a good mood, having woken up late. He had hurried to get ready, but got to the school building at his own pace, not wanting to look flustered when he arrived. He ran a hand through his hair quickly as he approached their meeting spot, wanting to look presentable to his superior. "Sorry I'm late sir. Please forgive me." he said, coming to a stop to stand in front of Xemnas.

Xigbar was probably one of the only people Axel didn't mind physically touching him. Otherwise, he'd probably break someone's arm right off. Or stab them in the gut. Whichever was easier. But Axel respected Xigbar and had grown almost close to him over the three years they'd been together in the gang, since Axel was but a freshman. "Pah. Like I said, he looks like a sheep." He replied almost bitterly before giving a somewhat sly grin. "But... I think I might be able to whip him into shape, being the sheep-herding shepard that I am." Wolf was more like it, but eh, what did he care. He gave a lofty shrug. "You're the boss, so I'll leave it up to you. Take him or leave him, I could really care less."
Demyx happily shook Roxas' hand before retracting it and listening to him. "Hah. Yeah, you look a little lost is all. It's no biggie." He said with a smile, knowing how odd it was being the 'new kid'. Demyx had been a 'new kid' once too, having transferred last year. That's why he wasn't taken so seriously and was picked on so much by others, even by those in his own gang. He then heard his name being called by the front desk. "Oh, that's me!" He said before turning to the shorter boy. "Hey, listen. If you ever need anything, just say so!" He then said, almost feeling attached to Roxas somewhat with the whole new kid thing. "I'm with the Odd Number Gang. I'm sure they'd help you out if you ever got in a bind. Well, see ya!" He waved before hopping up and skipping over to an office where he'd once again be lectured by one of the school's counselors on violence and fighting.
"Saix." Xemnas said, half surprised half relieved and half annoyed; it almost being indistinguishable with him, if not improbable with three halves equaling more than a whole. "What took you so long?" But, he was in a hurry, so he moved right in, coming closer to Saix. "No matter. We don't have time... We have a new development." He lead right in. "A new student has come into the school system. A freshman boy. His name is still unknown." He turned his back to his second, a stern look on his face. "...I want him." Xemnas was notorious for knowing more than he should, and obtaining information faster that even some teachers. He had Saix to thank for a lot of that, being a great information-gatherer. Marluxia wasn't too bad either, being the sneaky bastard that he was.

Xigbar thought for a short while, gazing out over the many people heading into the school building. "Well... We could use another member... And if we don't get him, the Odd Number Gang might go after him.... So... yeah." he said, turning his attention to Axel. "You can go whip him into shape and join us... Just don't break him to bad and make him useless." He pushed himself off from the wall so he could head into the building soon. "But if you do manage to make him useless, you can just give him to the others. Either way, it would end up helping us."
Roxas ran a hand through his hair again before nodding. "Yeah. I'll say something if I need help." But he felt a sinking feeling in his stomach as he watched Demyx walk away. What was the possibility that the first person he had talked to happened to be a member of a gang he was trying to avoid. He sighed lightly as people moved past him as their names were called and he was glad when it was his turn to go. He moved to an office and the lady there was nice enough to him. He was just glad to finally get out of the office and heading to his first class.
Saix was relieved when Xemnas didn't seem to mad about him being late. He didn't like seeing his superior angry. It wasn't exactly pretty, especially if you were the one he was angry at. He resisted the urge to take a step back, not liking people being to close to him. But he would deal for the time being. There was always time to be annoyed by it later. Saix nodded once. "Yes. Of course sir. Would you like me to start plans for getting him to join our group?" he asked. He was very good at persuasion. Mostly because those who didn't do as he said normally ended up being severely injured.

Axel smiled that roguish smile of his when the order was given, or rather, given permission to carry out his 'specialty'. It was almost like giving a rabid wolf permission to devour an innocent sheep. "Aye aye, captain." He said with a grin, giving a lofty two-finger salute as Xigbar left. Oh yeah. He'd whip this new kid into shape alright, but the way Xigbar made it sound, he had permission to go all-out, which made him more than happy. With Xigbar going to his senior classes for the day and most of the students in the building now, Axel decided his watchful patrol of the outside was done for the day. He also came off the wall and began walking inside to his first period: junior math. He'd deal with this new kid during lunch; it was the best time.
"Yes. Immediately." Xemnas answered, his back still turned. He then turned back around to face Saix directly. "However, I want to take a diplomatic approach." It was somewhat of a new idea, but Xemnas rather liked it. "Those barbaric Even Numbers will probably want to recruit him as well, after all... So we'll make him come to us willingly. Of his own free will." He paused for a moment, starring deeply at Saix with his cold, piercing eyes. "Do you understand?"
Xaldin, another senior, was sitting in his first period senior English class. It was an odd class for him, really. The higher you went up in grade level, the less students in a classroom there were because of all of the dropouts over the course of four years of torment. He had Xigbar in this particular class. He'd always thought of Xigbar as his primary rival. They were around the same age and pretty even-matched in most areas. Or at least Xaldin liked to believe. He waited with folded arms, tapping his foot, awaiting his self-proclaimed sworn enemy's arrival.
(( Meh. Decided to throw Xaldin in. If you don't want that to be Xigbar's first period, that's fine, I'll change it. Also, I would throw someone in a freshman class for Roxas... but I don't think there are any freshman-like org. XIII members like him. XD We can time-skip if you want. ))

Xigbar strolled through the hallways confidentenally, other students moving out of his way. He could be an alright guy for the most part, but people don't normally like crossing his path. He didn't mind though. He had little tolerance for being around people he didn't like. And speaking of people he didn't like... He sighed lightly as he entered his first period and caught sight of Xaldin. Of course, he was used to seeing him here everyday, but that didn't mean he had to enjoy it. He sat in his seat without glancing at the enemy.
Saix nodded, but he surprised that Xemnas wanted to take a diplomatic approach. He was used to a violent approach to recruit possible new members. He wasn't one to use nonviolence.... But he knew someone who could. "Yes. Of course sir. I understand." he said. Demyx would be the perfect member to use for this mission, since he was the one most likely not to engage in violence. "I'll get started on that right away."
Zexion glanced up from the book he was reading when Axel walked past. He slid the book into his bag and followed after his fellow gang member. "What're you so happy about?" he asked, sliding a hand into his pocket. It was rare for him to see Axel in this state of happiness. Only when there was a potential new member around. He hoped it was worth it this time. He wasn't exactly too thrilled about the newest member to their gang. A girl, of all people. Even though she could hold her on in a fight... And was scary at times.. He just didn't think it was right.
[[It's fine. I'm going to use this time to bring in Zexion~]]

As Xaldin patiently waited in his seat, the other seniors gave mere whispers and glances, them being somewhat scared of his rather harsh presence. Xaldin was a big student, and though silent for the most part, gave off that vibe that you just didn't want to mess with. But, before he knew it, Xigbar had indeed made his way into the classroom; another intimidating student. Unfortunately for the both of them though, the teacher of this class had 'assigned seats' and had placed them beside each other in their desks. He could see the annoyance on his enemy's face as he sat down, even though Xigbar didn't look at him, apparently choosing to ignore him for the day. Xaldin would have none of that, always loving a good challenge, which he knew Xigbar could provide. "I see you finally decided to show up." He said smugly, smiling to himself in his seat. "What's wrong? Something 'exiting' come up with you Evens?"
"Good." Xemnas said, pleased. "I trust you won't fail me. Dismissed." He knew he could rely on Saix to do the job and do it well. Being his second-in-command of the gang, Xemnas had given him authority over the other members of the Odd Numbers. He knew Saix would use his authority well in this situation as well, mostly because the wrath to be endured by him if one was to fail. Sure it seemed his words were harsher than his actual being at times, but that was far from the truth. Done with the short meeting, Xemnas then turned again and began heading to his next class. "Oh. And Saix." He started, stopping for a moment. "Inform the others that we are to have a group meeting after school at the warehouse." He ordered before walking again, leaving. The warehouse: another meeting spot Xemnas rather liked, which wasn't too far from the school so it was convenient for the other members as well.
Many ideas came by Axel's mind as he paced the school's hallway, that mischievous smile of his still planted on his face. Before he knew it, someone else had joined him, now walking beside him. He didn't need to look to see who it was. And he didn't. He only kept walking. "Happy?" He replied with a light laugh. "Please. I'm thrilled." He straightened up a bit as he continued to walk. "I guess you didn't hear. There's a new kid in town. And you know what that means." Zexion was a part of the Even Numbers, like him and Xigbar and the few other members they had. Axel enjoyed the shorter member's quiet demeanor, though often times worried about his loyalties. He'd watched him closely for a long time, and just recently did Axel really start to trust Zexion, his untrust now settling down on their newest member: Larxene.

Xigbar hated how his seat was next to Xaldin's. It was like the teacher was asking for something bad to happen in the classroom. The only thing he enjoyed about this class was how the other students seemed to fear him. That always made him feel good. But when he heard Xaldin's voice, it seemed to grate against his eardrums and his good mood turned around. He contemplated whether or not he should answer, but he figured he could get some type of enjoyment out of this, so he turned his head slightly to glance at him. He raised an eyebrow lightly as he crossed his arms. "Wouldn't you like to know. We have something exciting that would most definitely put us ahead of you Odds."
Saix nodded as Xemnas walked off. "Yes sir. Of course." he said, turning and heading into the building as well. He loved his authority over the other members and he was glad that he was trusted enough to even have the authority. He walked through the halls, keeping his eye out for Demyx. Once he was found, he grabbed the back of the other boy's shirt and pulled him off to the side. "I have a mission for you Demyx." he said, keeping his voice low so the people passing them wouldn't overhear them. "You need to find this new student and pursuade him to join our gang by nonviolent means... And spread the word to the other members we have a meeting after school at the warehouse." He probably could go hunt down the other members and tell them himself, but he didn't want to waste his time with it.
Zexion was silent for a few seconds. The happy look on Axel's face that was with that news only meant one thing... "Xigbar told you to recruit him." he said. It wasn't a guess or a question. His tone showed that he already knew that was what it was. Xigbar always asked Axel to do the recruitment and other dirty work. It was known that Axel normally served as the second-in-command anyway, so that must be the reason why. Zexion knew of the distrust that Axel had towards him, and he always made sure to prove that he was loyal. But if someone had an opinion of him, there wasn't really anything he could do about it.

Xaldin instantly frowned upon hearing Xigbar's words. What was this? Something exiting actually did happen? Xaldin had meant it as a tease, but the way Xigbar said it, it sounded like something important. Something that... could put the Evens ahead of them? He gave a huff, sitting back straight in his seat. "Hmph. I think you're bluffing." He said. "There's nothing that could put you ahead of us. We're top dog around here and everyone knows it." In actuality, mostly everyone saw the two quarreling gangs both as a threat, and decided to simply stay out of it. Who was ahead or behind was pretty much a mystery if it even existed, though Xaldin himself was certain his faction was always on top.
Demyx gave into a mild "Eep!" as Saix grabbed him from walking down the hallway, pulling him aside by the back of his shirt. When he turned to face the other, orders were almost instantly barked at him. "A mission?" He said, almost surprised by it. Oh no... was he going to be used as a scapegoat again? But when Saix explained the situation, Demyx only groaned, him used to Saix dumping his workload on him. "The warehouse again? And a new student?" Then, a light bulb seemed to go off in his head. "Oh, you mean Roxas?" He questioned, Roxas being the only new student he knew of. He smiled, remembering the cute blond kid. "Yeah, he's a real nice guy. I hope he'll be okay here..." And that was Demyx getting off-track again, as usual...
Axel nodded. "That's right. You're pretty good." He questionably praised. "But first, I gotta find him. Saw him this morning, pretty sure he's a freshman, but that's all I know." His eyes now darted to the side, to Zexion as they continued to walk. "I don't suppose you could help me out?" He knew Zexion was a pro at obtaining information, whether it be by sneaking around or just plain confronting the target, and to be honest, he'd rather trust Zexion with it than the crazy science nerd, gambling addict, or scary bitch that made up the rest of their gang. "All I'd need is a name and schedule."
Vexen sat in the science lab, it being the chemistry classroom: his favorite. It was his first period and he was always the first to this class. He waited for his lab partner to show, but he never did. He knew he'd have to be assigned partners with someone else if his partner didn't come. He knew Marluxia, that low-life bastard that always teased and taunted him, also had the class. Oh woe would be the day if the teacher paired them together... Vexen slammed his head down on the lab table just thinking about it.

Xigbar smirked lightly, seeing how his words had affected Xaldin. It was amusing to him to see how tense he seemed now... Well... more tense then before. But he could tell that there was no way the other man believed him. "Suit yourself if you don't believe me." Xigbar said, shrugging lightly. He let out a small laugh. "And if you think you're top dog around here, you're sadly mistaken. We're the top. We always have been and we always will be." He settled back against his seat and glanced over at his rival, curious to see how this would make him react.
Saix resisted the urge to twist and yank Demyx's head off. He was so childish and slow that he didn't really contribute to the gang much except to be the scapegoat. "Yes Demyx.. A mission." he said, forcing his voice to stay even as he hit the blond in the back of the head to keep him on track. "You need to pursuade this.. Roxas to join our gang before the Evens get to him. If you fail this... Well.. You don't want to know the consequences." he said, his voice giving away no hint that he was joking. It was dead-serious and Demyx had better obey.
Zexion walked silently for a few seconds, contemplating whether or not if he should help... Axel was part of their gang and they've known each other for a long time now... And since Xigbar gave out the mission, he should probably should just go ahead and help him about. He nodded slowly. "Yeah... I guess I could help you..." he said, sliding his hands in his pocket as they walked. "I'll have it to you sometime before lunch." He stopped walking as they reached his classroom.
Marluxia sulked into the classroom, having heard the worst news in his life. He was getting paired today with that horrible Vexen. The only bright side he could see to this situation was that he now gets to annoy the crap out of him. The thought made him smile. Once he entered the classroom, he scanned it quickly until his eyes caught side of the blond he was looking for. "Hey Vexen~" he said, going over to him. "I got great news for you. It seems starting today I get to be your lab partner. Isn't it wonderful~" he said, flipping a strand of his pink hair over his shoulder. No matter what anyone says, his hair is naturally pink. Anyone who says otherwise normally ends up in the hospital for unexplainable reasons.

Xigbar's words and smug look made Xalding growl lowly to himself. Now he began to believe the Evens actually had something under their sleeve. He'd definitely have to talk to the superior, or even Saix, about this later. Either they knew something and hadn't told him yet or they really needed to know something they didn't. But with Xigbar's next statement, rage began to consume him. Despite being the one to normally pick fights with others he saw as challenging, Xaldin was also normally the first to lose his cool. His low growl increased. "You Evens are the most unorganized bunch I've ever seen!" He barked at the composed Even's leader (unlike himself), unable to contain himself any longer. "How could you possibly think you're on top? You have a girl of all things amongst your ranks!" That got a few gasps around the room, mostly from the girls, not appreciating the 'diss' of sorts.
"Owww!" Demyx whined as he was hit upside the head. But it did get his attention. "Before the Evens get to him...?" He mimicked. Did that mean the two gangs would be fighting over the poor kid? And he of all people was the one who had to persuade him to join?! But, the way Saix spoke, Demyx knew what the answer should be. "R-right!" He said, saluting the other, which was just unnecessary. "I won't fail you, sir! I will convince Roxas to join us!" ...Because he really didn't want to face the wrath of Xemnas or Saix... Besides, their side was waaaay better than the Evens... right?
Axel came to a stop as Zexion did, now at his classroom. "Glad to hear it." He said, content in hearing of his agreement to cooperate. In all honesty, he was somewhat impressed too. Before lunch? That was very fast. But Axel had come to expect such consistent work from the shorter male. He really was a good member to have in their gang. "I'll expect it by next period then." Because after second period was lunch, and that was Axel's time to strike. He began to walk off to his own class, back down the hall, giving a lofty wave as he did without looking back. "See ya then."
Vexen rose his head from the table when he heard a familiar voice. That voice. His voice. Nooooooo "Marluxia..." Vexen greeted, narrowing his eyes at the pink-haired male, very much wanting to just slam his head back on the table again and leave it there for the rest of the day. But then the news was delivered. His eyes became wide, his jaw dropped in horror and surprise. "W-what?!" He shirked, being the spaz that he was. "F... from now on?! For the rest of the year?! That's impossible! How could this happen?!" Didn't the ENTIRE school know how much he hated Marluxia?! It was as if they'd done it on purpose! Why was everyone out to get him?! Paranoid, much? "And no, it's NOT wonderful!" He then slumped down in his seat, breathing heavily from the outburst, now simmered down some with a daze look on his face. "...I can't believe this is happening." For the rest of the year? What would his grade look like now?

The smirk on Xigbar's face grew more as he watched Xalding become more and more frustrated. But it faded quickly when he heard what was said next. He found that to be really uncalled for.. But then again, Xaldin didn't know much about Larxene's contribution to the gang, seeing how she was still rather new to it. He sat up slowly, his eyes narrowing towards the other male. "We may have a girl with us, but she's tougher than you could ever hope to be." he said, forcing his voice to stay even. Even though he did enjoy fighting, he would never intentionally pick a fight in a classroom.
"You better not." Saix growled before turning and heading off down the hall towards his classroom. He knew Demyx would obey the order. After all, the blond was too cowardly to even think about disobeying and facing the wrath of either Saix or their superiour. He just hoped he didnt' run into this new kid before Demyx got to him. Saix was already in such a bad mood, he'd probably end up seriously hurting the poor boy.
Zexion nodded and turned without saying a word. He scanned the thinning crowd until he spotted who he was looking for. ((Random, unnamed person.)) He pulled her off to the side and told her what was needed to be done. She nodded and headed off to get the info Zexion required. People tended to underestimate him, because of his height. But that often has led to the downfall of many people. He wasn't exactly strong, but he was quick and he was always two steps ahead of whoever he was up against.
Marluxia smiled brightly as he watched Vexen's reaction. It was even better than he imagined. He just loved the look of shock and horror on his face. He honestly couldn't be happier. "You better believe it. We'll be spending a LOT of time together." he said, leaning agains a nearby table and crossing his arms lightly. He glanced around the classroom and seen their teacher still hadn't arrived, which meant they still had some time to chat. Marluxia planned on having a great time torturing his blond enemy during class, and there was nothing the poor soul could do about it.

That was the last straw for Xaldin, his built-in rage fuming now, it all over his expression. "What did you just say?!" He let out, starting to get up from his seat. If anyone questioned his power or manliness, it was all over for Xaldin's self-composure. Unlike Xigbar, who seemed to remain very composed. There was a reason Xigbar was a leader, after all. But before Xaldin could act on such a mood, the teacher had arrived and began class. If there was anything at all Xaldin had in common with Xigbar, it was not wanting to physically fight during class. "You just wait." He said quietly to Xigbar, sitting back down in his seat. "You'll get yours real soon." Really. Saying a girl was better than him... that was just simply impossible! Now he was going to be in a sour mood for the rest of the class!
As Saix left, Demyx let out a sigh of relief. "That guy sure is scary..." He said to himself. But he was just glad it was Saix and not Xemnas who had given him the order. Nobody was scarier than the Odd Numbers leader. He shook his head. "Alright. Roxas. That means I gotta find him..." He groaned. "AND I have to tell the others about later today too!" He hurried off down the hallway to his next class that he was already probably going to be late for, seeing if he could spot Xaldin, Lexaeus, Marluxia, or even Roxas along the way, though doubting it, seeing as how they'd probably all already be in class by now. He'd just have to wait until next period or lunch to track them all down. He continued running through the now partly empty hallway.
Vexen held his head. "B-but!" He couldn't believe this. This was absolutely horrible and there was nothing he could do about it. The stupid teacher already hated him and was very strict, even if he always did show up late to his own class. Once the decision was made, there was no going back. It looked like he really was stuck with his sworn enemy. "You better not bring my grade down, you villainous tyrant!" Was all he could get out at this point, pointing an accusing finger to Marluxia. "I'm making an A in this class, I'll have you know!"
(( Should we time-skip at some point to next period or lunch? Or do you think we should keep going? ))

((We can just skip forward.))
Xigbar was glad at how riled up he seemed to make Xaldin. That always made him feel good. But he wasn't an idiot. As soon as the bell rang, he took off faster than most people even had the chance to move. He'll send Larxene to go have a little 'word' with Xaldin later about him dissing her. Then let's see how he acts tomorrow. His next period just so happens to be with her in a study hall. She was pretty ticked off, but managed not to just snapped on the nearest random person. Which was good. She was finally getting control of her anger. After this class was lunch were he could go check up on Axel's progress on converting the new kid.
Zexion sat through class quietly, paying attention and asking questions when needed. His informant returned to class about halfway through and slipped him the paper. He nodded lightly and went back to his work, barely even glancing up from their assignment. When the bell rang, Zexion went to find Axel, which wasn't really hard. He handed him the piece of paper. "Here's the info you wanted." he said before turning to his next class, which was Junior English without another word. He got through the class easily enough and headed off to lunch.
"Villainous tyrant? You're so kind!" Marluxia exclaimed, laughing lightly. He flipped a strand of hair out of his eyes as he took a seat. "And by the way, I'm failing this class. So have fun with me being your partner." He spent the rest of the period with this manner, nonstop annoying of Vexen. When the bell rang, he sprang up quickly and headed to the hall, no longer wanting to be around the other gang member. He got through his next period and was glad for lunch, eager to get a small break from being surrounded by people.

Xaldin was out of the classroom almost as fast as Xigbar was. He needed to go destroy something. But, he ended up only punching a random locker, making a good dent in it, before walking off to his next class: Calculus. Something he wasn't exactly good at. It was there that he'd rage on a few more unsuspecting students before disembarking for lunch. He was about to grab a lunch tray once making it to the cafeteria before some annoying kid came up to him...
"Hey, Xaldin!" Demyx shouted, waving a hand frantically before finally catching up to him. "Saix wanted me to tell you that we're having a meeting tonight at the warehouse!" Xaldin face-palmed himself. "What are you, stupid?" He told the other, slapping him upside the head as Saix had done before. "Not so loud! We don't need the entire school knowing!" Demyx put a hand over his mouth. "Oh, right... sorry!" He said. "Anyway, I've already told Lexaeus, but I can't find Marluxia anywhere. So if you see him, tell him for me, okay? I don't want Saix or Xemnas to beat me!" Xaldin only rolled his eyes. "Whatever." He let out. Like he was going to waste his time looking for Marluxia. He didn't even like the guy. Too frilly. "Oh, and one more thing." Demyx added before he left. "If you see Roxas, tell him I'm looking for him! Kay thanks bye!" He then took off, leaving Xaldin very curious of this 'Roxas' business...
When class was over and Marluxia jumped up and ran off with apparently a lot of energy left, Vexen was flat out exhausted from having to deal with him. So many times had Marluxia almost blown them up with his bad formulas! No wonder he was failing the class! But, Vexen finally forced himself up from his seat, gathered his books, and headed to his next class: Calculus, which he had with horrible brute Xaldin. Luckily, he didn't seat near him and Xaldin pretty much just ignored him, apparently Vexen not being 'challenging' enough for him. It was only after that the he headed for the lunch room. He's sit with the other science nerds and talk about all kinds of wondrous chemicals and potions they could create.
Axel grinned to himself as the piece of paper was handed to him by the smaller gang member. "Heh. Right on time, just as expected." He stated contently. He watched Zexino leave with a smile, then looked to the paper. "Roxas, huh..." He gave an impressed whistle. "Boy, what a schedule this kid has." He then shoved the piece of paper into his pocket and began walking down the hall to his next class: World History II. He had it with Lexaeus, an opposing gang member he often loved to tease. Once that was over though, the hunt began. It was lunch time and he'd been waiting forever it seemed to track down this Roxas kid. Once in the cafeteria, he scanned the area, looking for any sign of a short blond kid. However, he wasn't the only one... Demyx also being on the 'prowl'...

Roxas sighed lightly in relief, having gotten through his first periods of the day, biology and Algebra 1, without any trouble. It seemed to him that these gangs consisted of the older students, so the possibility that he was going to run into one was low. But then again, there was always lunch, which was where he was headed now. Everyone in the school had lunch at the same time, which was halfway a good thing, but also a bad. It's not exactly a good place to be going if you're trying to avoid someone. But how are you supposed to avoid them if you don't know what they look like? The only gang member that Roxas knew of was Demyx and he didn't seem like that bad of guy. He just wasn't the type for the blond to hang out with.
He resisted the urge to sigh again as his arm was grabbed by his hyperactive cousin, Sora. "Hey Roxas~" he said, smiling happily. "Why don't you come eat lunch with me and my friends?" "Do I really have a choice?" "No. Not really." Roxas sighed and followed after him, prefering to walk then getting dragged. As they walked, Sora pointed out the various gang members for his cousin and telling him how they acted and which gang they belonged too. He was really grateful for this knowledge because he knew it was going to help him in the future when he spotted one in the halls.

Axel gave a humored smile when he overheard Sora telling Roxas the way things worked around their school, him leaning against the wall as they walked by. As the two boys just passed him he stood up off the wall. It was time to make his move. He followed them a short ways before he made himself present by coming up behind Sora and tapping him on the shoulder. "Hey, bedhead." He greeted with a smug smile. "I'm gonna borrow Roxas here if you don't mind." Despite his words, it came out more as a threatening demand than a curious inquiry. He looked to Roxas. "You are Roxas, right?" You could never be too sure, after all. Although, Axel could already pretty much tell he was right. And he knew he'd have to claim this kid fast, least the Odd Numbers would get to him.
"Oh crap, oh crap..." Demyx said to himself as he watched Axel talking to Sora and Roxas. "This isn't good!" Damn! And he was so close too! Just about to go talk to them and then Axel showed up out of nowhere! He hid behind a pillar in the lunch room, watching them intently. Hopefully Axel wouldn't drag poor Roxas off and he'd still have time to talk to him before lunch was over.

Sora froze when he heard Axel's voice. Crap... This wasn't good. So much for avoiding the gang members, right? He thought of all his options quickly. He could just hand Roxas over and avoid getting hurt... But that would mean Roxas might get hurt instead. He could just take hold of his hand and run... But that wouldn't stop the problem. If a gang member wanted to talk to someone, they would hunt that person down until they got the chance to talk. He dropped his head in defeat and nodded. "Yeah.. You can..." he muttered.
Roxas glanced between the man who approached them and his cousin, confused for a second. Then it clicked in his mind that this was a person he should probably avoid. He crossed his arms across his chest and glared at this person... Well... Glared up at him, seeing how he was so much taller than the blond. "Yeah. I'm Roxas. And I mind about going with you, so I'm going to decline you're offer." he said, his tone taking on a defiant edge.

Axel gave into a smirk in hearing a dejected Sora's agreement to cooperate. Oh, how he loved intimidation. "Why, thank you very much." He stated 'formally' before hearing what the other boy had to say, which was also on a somewhat sarcastic formal level. "Oh, a tough guy, huh?" Axel cooed, faking a 'surprised' look. "You're new, so I'll cut you a break and let you in on a little something." He then began, leering down at the smaller boy. "The Evens don't take 'no' for an answer, as I'm sure bedhead here can tell you." He gestured to Sora, but kept his eyes on the prize: Roxas. "In other words, you don't have a choice. Least you'd like to end up as bodybag in the back dumpster." Was he serious? Perhaps. All Axel knew was that the Odds could not have a new recruit, and that it'd help their ranks greatly if they themselves had one. Not that Axel really saw much potential with this kid... He seemed rather dull, though he did have to give him credit for resisting him somewhat; something he hadn't seen for a long time with most of school terrified of him.
Meanwhile, Demyx only continued to bite his nails and watch behind the cafeteria pillar, seriously contemplating who was more terrifying to be maimed by: Axel for standing up to him and helping Roxas, or Saix for failing to complete the mission. It was pretty much a lose-lose situation. But he decided to sit put for now, watching for any opportunity to make a move.

A quick shot of fear rose up through Roxas' spine when he heard those words. The last thing he wanted was to end up dead in a dumpster... But he didn't want to get involved with any of the gangs... He glanced at Sora for a second, who tilted his head slightly telling him that he should just go. Roxas sighed lightly and ran a hand through his hair, making sure to at least make it seem like the words didn't affect him any. "Fine.. What do you want exactly?" he asked, keeping his voice devoid of any emotion. Sora was wanting to stay here with his cousin, but Axel was very intimidating to him, and he wasn't much of a fighter. "I'll see you later..." he muttered before turning and heading in the opposite direction. Roxas almost grabbed hold of his arm to keep him here, not wanting to be alone with Axel, but he stopped himself. No point in giving up his tough guy act now, right?

Axel watched as Sora left, smiling to himself, satisfied with the outcome. He turned back to Roxas in hearing his question. "What do I want?" The redhead mimicked. "More than you could possibly imagine." He let out a stiffed laugh with the self-indulged joke before deciding to explain. "Please, kid. It's not that I want. It's what the 'Evens' want. And we want you." He jabbed his index finger at the smaller boy's chest. "You see, put simply, we want you to join our ranks. You know, become one of us." He straightened himself back up. "Not that I myself would say you're Even material..." He gave a shrug. "But eh, Xiggy gets what Xiggy wants."
