Me and Saiytanya, are making a role play and would love if someone would come and play the boys in our little romance rp. It will of course follow all rules etc, and should be lots of fun.

Basic plot is that two girls are thrown back into feudal Japan. No magical powers, just strange circumstances. We are good and experienced role players and aren't looking for instant love, but some good story line and writing. So about literate average writing. doesn't need to be long and super fancy, but more than a beginner.

Personality: Spunky and fun, she loves to draw and get into trouble...errr.... adventure. She's always eating weird foods and sticking her nose into everything.
Background: Big family and she dotes on her older sister who is an archeologist, or super adventurer as she likes to call her. Happy family for the most part, but she tends to wander off from them never settling down. Her family although only 25% Japanese, is currently living there

Name: Eithne O’Riely
age: 20
Born: modern day
Personality: Eithne is a fairly calm and serious person with strangers. With friends she becomes more bubbly and outgoing and tends to have random hyper moments. She puts on a tough girl front, but she’s inwardly very girly(she just doesn’t want to be seen as weak). She has a temper sparked by crude or sexist things said by men and will get violent toward the one who said it.
Background: Eithne was born and raised in Ireland with her 5 brothers on a large sheep farm. Her mother died when she was very young which left her to be raised by her father and brothers. So, needless to say, she’s quit the tomboy because of it. When she was old enough she moved to Japan to go to school which is where she met Aya.

Eithne is the one who will fall for the Ninja

Christmas was exceptional. ^^; And I can thank my boyfriend for most of that.

Well, we did plan out what we were gonna get each other, but I suppose it's the silly message he put on the back of the wrapping. ^_^ Those are always cute.

Occupation: ninja though is known as a farmer to the public

Personality: He’s very talented at what he does and knows it; resulting in a moment of extreme overconfidence or two. He rarely seems to not take things seriously and gets under people’s skin to hide the toll his job takes on him. However he can always be counted on to get the job done.

Background: He is a second generation ninja on his father’s side and a fourth generation on his mother’s. Everything he knows he learned from his parent’s and his maternal grandfather. His father in particular was and still is strict wishing to keep the skills in the family strong. Being the younger and more skilled of two brothers has caused some tension between him and his sibling. In recent years he hasn’t spoken much to most of his family only seeing them on the occasional mission.

Picture: He doesn't dress as flashy as this though. A more toned down version of this outfit is what he'd wear.

Name: Maeda Namamasa, "Masa-Ousama" to his court members.
Age: Twenty-Three Years Young

Sex: Male

Born: In Feudal Japan

Occupation: Prince; it's an easy life.

Personality: Compared to his eldest brother Nobuhito, Namamasa is quiet, though the Maeda clan is quite famous for its loud-mouthed men, such as Keiji. Artistic, well-versed, and well-mannered are the qualities that he possess that none of his other brothers do. He is also the least popular among the women. Some of his good traits are that he's very polite and takes a woman very seriously, as well as planning out his words before he says them. However, this planning can also be negative, since he is well-versed, sometimes his compliments sound like an attempt to flirt. A few negative qualities of Namamasa are his inability to avert his gaze from a woman's bosom if necessary and his intense anger that rarely appears. I should also note that he has a severe superiority complex towards his sisters and an inferiority complex towards Nobuhito.

Background: Namamasa has never had the easy-way in life. As the youngest, he was beat up by his bigger brothers, picked on by his cousins, and dressed up by his sister. From the time he was young, he was always put against his brothers, who were stronger and more equipped than he was, so his mother taught him the arts, specifically Haiku and calligraphy. Though she has since passed, he still practices these arts in her fond memory.
After his tenth spring, he was given his test of manliness: bringing home his dinner. It was a test that every male member of the Maeda clan had to pass in order to be considered a man. Were he to fail, he would have to keep trying every night until he finally had dinner. Equipped with his father's old naginata, the young Namamasa went hunting for hours. By the time dinner was served, he was not back, and his mother and sister began to worry, so his brothers went out to fetch him, only to find the young boy trying to haul back a large boar, the naginata stuck firmly between the emphasized ribs.
In the sixteenth summer, he was given his first forged sword, and went into battle to prove himself a worthy member of his father's forces. Unlike his second brother, who had passed in combat two summers before, Namamasa came back wielding his bloodied sword with supposedly two-hundred men slain under his belt. His father, after this victory, decided that it was now Namamasa's turn to find a wife and become in the running to claim his territories.
After three years of courtship, a fever struck down the girl that Namamasa was supposed to marry. The girl, a member of the Azai clan, was supposed to strengthen the relationship between the Maeda and Azai clan, but unfortunately, the bond could no longer be made as long as there was no marriage. Since this time, he has had no engagement, which is fine and dandy with him, since at the moment, he has a current obsession with painting the mountains and tending to a tree garden.

Though it might be too big, I like it. I can't wait to see him in action or to see how all of our character's will interact.

You're welcome. To be honest I had to trim my own down so I can totally relate. Who knows? I'm kind of anxious to see how Masaru interacts with Eithne as well.
