(I say you start with the guys waiting for Niaya ^.^ and YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY YY FINALLY GOT IT UP!!! Sorry for the wait :sweat: )

It had started out as a very nice and clear day when the boys had woken up, an oddly warm day instead of the usual chilly fall weather. It had seemed like the best time in the world to go out, but now they were having second thoughts.
Christian looked up at the sky and sighed, dark blue clouds had started to role in over the fall canopy. For a split moment he appreciated how lovely the scene looked, dark cerulean sky hitting the light orange of the leaves, but a shiver passed over him when the cold breeze of the incoming storm drifted down.
"Kurai better hurry up or were going to get pored on..." Chris said to his cousin as he pulled his hoodie tighter around him, trying to keep warm. Josiah grumbled and joined him in scowling at the angry clouds that were roiling in.
"I say we ditch her," He grumbled and leaned up against a cow fence lazily. Chris couldn't hold in a little chuckle at how odd that looked. Their little town was small, quaint and surrounded by farm land and more even more open space beyond that. It was really very old fashioned, with only one main road and no commercial chain stores at all, not even Starbucks. Josiah, while he had lived in that very town for his entire life and only left on holidays, was a city boy at heart. Christian wasnt sure that he liked that about him or how exactly he had gotten that way, but then again he wasn't even sure if he liked his cousin at all. He wasn't a bad guy and they had grown up together, hell some people even mistook them for twins. But they had only been close because there were only so many boys their age in the town, Chris was a bit shy, and Josiah had the advantage of being family. So they tolerated each-other.
Christian sighed again, his cousins impatience grating on his nerves.
"Joe, weve been here all of ten minuets, you can wait, you dont have anywhere else to go," He grumbled.
"I do so," He protested childishly.
Chris sighed, "Two minuets ok? And then you can go...i dont know shoot something or whatever the heck it is you do when I'm not around"
"I play videogames genius," Josiah scoffed, "Nothing else to do around here"
"Right, two minuets," He said and held up his hands for visual aid.

Kurai grumbled irritatedly as she stormed into the building hissing about her retchet mother and her drunkered of a father. After about an hour of talking to someone that she saw as stupid she stormed back outside and found Christian and Josiah "Hi guys" she grunted as she walked up to them and one of her little cat balloons floated up and to the side of her choker with it's tail still attetched. Every time she got ticked and thought about suicide or cousing major harm to herself one of her dark bolloon pets would either attatch itself to her callar or her wrist. She was then glaring up at the sky not seeming cold in the least... she rarely ever was. For about a month now her parents had been screwing with her and for her father that was litteral... she hated him. They had pretty much kicked her out and shipped her to her cousens... who just days later comited suicide leaving her to fend for herself... she was fine with that and had already been doing that for years. Now however she only had a few people she cared for and trusted... and the two cousens were practicly the only reason she was still alive after attempting suicide.

Christian perked up considerably as Kurai turned up and hopped over to meet her without a moments hesitation. Josiah didn't even lift his eyes to meet her and just gave a vague, 'Nhh,' that was probably intended to be some sort of greeting as he thumbed through the texts on his phone lazily.
"Hey Kura, how are ya'?" He asked with a beaming smile as he shoved his hands into his pockets, trying to keep his fingers from falling off. Josie, though he wasn't even looking at them, gave an eye-role at his tone of voice and the puppy dog demeanor he always had when around her. Chris shot him a glare, which was completely useless beneath his cousins indifference, and returned his gaze to Kurai again.
Chris liked Kurai, alot, though he could never quite understand why. He knew her past, accepted it, and tried his best to help her put it behind her which he figured was nearly impossible but, hey, he was an optimist. She was probably his only friend that wasn't directly related to him and, while he didn't exactly have a crush on her, his feelings for her went a bit beyond friendship.
"Sooo...what exactly are we doing today?" Josiah grumbled, finally turning his attention back to them.

"Suckish!" Kurai grunted though looked at Cristain and tried to give a half hearted smile... though it was rather hard today. Truthfully she liked Christain... almost like a crush... though she wouldn't say anything unless she thought he liked her too. "Heck if I know! I think we have that festival thing tonight or something.... I don't know been too busy with my own bs." she huffed at Josie who at most times she didn't care for too much. She wasn't having the best of days and she hated his attitude half the time... though he was a friend he just reminded her of her dad... and she had a feeling Chris knew that.

"Boooring," Josie declared childishly and tipped his head back lazily, blowing air out in a puff making it trail behind him like a steam engine, "Its the same bloody thing every year"
"Its a tradition," Chris pointed out.
"Its boring," Josie said again, snapping his head back up and looking at his cousin as if he was the biggest idiot on the face of the earth. Chris just sighed and decided to drop the subject, knowing that Josiah would come with them regardless of what he thought because, despite his whining, he really did have nothing better to do.
"Well," Chris said, looking back to his friend, smiling back at her, "We'll just have to find something cheer you up then wont we? We can get some cotton-candy and play cheesy carnival games all night"
"And come home with thirty crummy goldfish like last year," Josie grumbled.
"Hey, i worked hard for those fish," Chris said with a chuckle.
"Well excuse me for insulting your ping-pong throwing skills," He grumbled again and puffed out another burst of air and held his hand to pretend that he was smoking.

"I think it might befune... you guys hungry? You know they normally have good food... I have money if you guys don't." Kurai said softly perking up just a bit. She loved the fair they had every year... though this year felt different... something felt off. She had this nack for feeling when things were about to go wrong.... and she felt a riple... something... something was wrong... something was weighing donw the air. "I have that feeling again... like... like when Ms. Shall died... like when those kids ran off... something just doesn't feel right... is someone sike in the town? Have you guys heard of anyone being ill resently? I don't know... something just feels weird..." she murmured shivering some as she looked back at the boys.

"What? Sick? No. I mean a couple of the elderly maybe. Mrs. Jenson looks like she could crumble into dust any day now but heck even she still rides her bike every morning," Chris said with a concerned look, "Why? The festival gave you that feeling?"
"The festival always gives me that feeling," Josiah said in a mockingly fake, scared tone. Chris glared at him.
"Joe shut up this is serious," Chris said in a warning growl.
"Yes, the 'psychic vision' is so very serious," Josiah scoffed.
"It is if something actually happens,"
"Mmff..." Was all his cousin said in return.

"I'm not sure... that guy never got caught off the end of that other town... I think that's what it is... I think that guy that killed those three young girls is in the town... and SHUT UP!!! Hay would you like to be strangled? Remember Pheana likes you..." Kurai hissed threatening Josiah with one of her shadow balloon pets... the one that tried to strangle him once.

Chris shivered a bit at the mention of the murderer. He wasnt very fond of blood or violence.
"Yea..." he muttered as a feeble response and looked down at his toes, not really wanting to think about it. Josie didnt seem to have much of a reaction to anything but laughed at Kurai's little outburst but still took a few steps away from her, just in case, and eyed her balloon cat warily. He swore the thing could tell what he was thinking, which being Kurai's pet he wouldn't be surprised if it could, and that it was giving him the evil eye.
"Shesh im only kidding," He said and raised his shoulders, subconsciously fearing that the cat balloon might pounce on him again at any second, "No need to get homicidal on me"

Kurai smirked and the small cat balloon rubbed up against her happily mewing and puring. "Ah come on you know you like her... and we all know she loves giving you hugs" she grinned and the cats light red eyes rolled to look at Josie intently. This one was the only one out of all her pets to have red eyes... and it was rather creapy that it did.

"The things evil. That I can sense!" he said warily and scooted away from the creepy balloon. Chris laughed at him happily, earning him a rather deserving glare from his cousin.
"Mr. Tough-guy," He teased with a wicked grin. Josie chose to ignore this.

Kurai giggled happily and her little cat balloon wandered over to rub up against Josie puring happily and mewing at him. "He he he SHE LIKES YOU!" she laughed happily and her cat mewed at him again seeming in a good mood today.

"How adooorable!" Chris said in a mockingly childish voice to his cousin. Josiah just muttered angrily and tensed as the kitty-creature rubbed against him.
"Back off or so help me ill pop you!" Josiah warned and tried to push the creepy balloon off of you.

Kurai grinned some and the cat looked up at Josiah mewing at him like all she wanted was to be petted. She then started away from him though the string rapped around his ancle and pulled his leg out from under him making him fall. Kurai burst out laughing at Josiah and her little cat went over and hid between her and Chris peaking out to looked at Josiah from over the twos shoulders.

Josiah fell like an old oak and scraped the palms of his hands on the gravel and dirt road rather spectacularly. Chris couldnt help but join Kurai in laughing at him like an idiot as he floundered around on the ground, trying to role on his back like a turtle and clutching his scraped hands pitifully. After a moment he scrambled to his feet and glared at the cat angrily.
"Stupid balloon...thing...ILL KILL YOu!" He yelled and ran after it like he was going to strangle it.

Kurai smirked lightly and snapped her fingers when Josiah was really close to the balloon and it wasn't near her or Chris. The balloon then popped and what appeared to be blood spattered all over the front of Josaih. "Oops did I do that? Ope maybe you shouldn't be so mean to my pets and then you wouldn't be covered now would you? Ow did I mention I got into a fight the other day? yep that's fresh." she smirked though gave Chris a little wink telling him she was just pulling his cousins leg... not litterally though...

Josiah stood there for a moment jumping as it exploded in his face. It took him a moment to get over the surprise but then he shook like a rather shaggy dog to get a bit of the "blood" off.
"Eeew sick! Just like in the movie It huh?" Josiah grumbled, "But seriously is this going to come out of my clothes?"
"Of course thats the first thing you think of..." Chris said with a tired sort of sigh, "Not the, 'its human blood thing,"
"Hey, I dont want to be stained red in public!" he exclaimed.

Kurai put her hand to her face and slapped her forehead. "YOU'RE WEARING MOSTLLY BLACK MORON!!!" she exclaimed not answering his question. "Come on guys lets just go to the far?" she said and snapped her fingers again making the 'blood' dissapeare from Josiah's clothes.

"Doesnt mean that it wont get sticky. And mostly is the key word," Josiah said with a definitive "hmph" and straightened his now very clean jacket.
Chris just chuckled and shook his head.
"Yea, lets go, and stop being so cranky Josie," He laughed.
"Im not the one exploding things on helpless people," Josie huffed.
"Mhm, like your helpless..." Chris said, shaking his head once more, "Now come on i want funnel cake!"

Kurai grinned as they started to walk to the fair. She normally loved going to the fair... though for some reason she kept getting this bad feeling... something wasn't right... something was off... but what? What was in the air today that made everything feel so off?

(So how would this come about? the curse and all?)

((i would guess that one person, im not sure who this might be a time to introduce minor characters, would be found brutally murdered and another completely gone, which could ether be the killer or a second victim. Now, would you like your character to be a killer? Because Id like to maim someone with one of my guys too XD))

Chris sighed and placed a hand on his friends shoulder, trying his best not to startle her.
"Dont worry. Im sure its nothing. Lets just go and have a good time and you'll probably feel a lot better," He said with a smile.

(Well see I could imagen Kurai and Josiah as killers... so... yeah... the others just don't seem to be like that.... I'm stuckish...)

((Ah well lets see if we can remedy that XD Ill make the first move then i suppose))

It was getting fairly late when the three finally reached the fair, they had stopped regularly while Josiah ranted about just about everything, and it was nearly dark by the time they had mannaged to settle down from a few arcade games. Chris had managed to win a giant monkey and three goldfish in under a half hour and Josie was sulking and drowning his sorrows in cotton candy and funnel cake.
"Your going to get fat if you keep eating like that," Chris teased.
"Oh shut up," Joe grumbled.
"There actually supposed to have some sort of singing event soon," Chris said, ignoring his cousin again.
"Goodie karaoke..." Josie grumbled.
"Can it. But your right..." He said with a sigh.
"You gonna sing with me Chris?" came a voice from behind them. Chris nearly jumped out of his chair and flipped around to meet the offender. The girl was impossibly tall and lanky, with arms as long and graceful as a willow tree, and a copper mess of curled hair cascading down past the small of her pale back. Chris smiled.
"Jill!" He laughed and launched, quite high, to hug her, "Where have you been, its been weeks since ive seen you!"
"Went to my grandparents for the week, Pop turned nintey," she said with a grin.
"And you came BACK to this shithole?" Josie grumbled.
"Cheerful as ever," Jill laughed.
"Shut up you stupid giraffe," He grumbled.
"Mhm," She sighed and turned back to the others, "Hi Kurai! Sorry didnt see you behind Chris' giant pink monkey"
"His name is Francis!" Chris exclaimed with a laugh.
