Calcifer sat on his throne staring down at the people who had come for his help. Sitting to his left ((I think queen is on the left.)) was his queen adella who looked extremle bored. Sighing he thought about the marriage he had grown bored of her and wanted someone new in his life. He watched his servants and smiled slithly when he saw ariana. His queen elbowed him lightly snapping him out of his thoughts.

(well we can swap the queen and the guard if you wish. I do not mind doing that and you wont have to change your post either.)

Ariana looked at the throne as she offered the villiagers food and water. She was happy that her suggestion to the king about offering them a snack and drink when they came to ask for help was well heeded. Now at least they would have some food in there bellys when they were pleading for help. She could see the king eyeing her and she looked down. When she looked up she saw Kyo and felt her heart melt. He was so handsome. She had always had a small crush on Kyo ever since she started working here but she always felt he ignored her. Perhaps he just did not like to talk who knows.

The queen stared at her husband and frowned a moment. She had noticed his gaze on the girl Ariana. Interesting. Well she would have her sent away before her husband would have an affair. It would not happen in her house. Her husband would be happy with her or no one.

Cal smiled softly as the line moved realitivly quickly. By the time the were done he still had energy for more much more. He stood and dismissed his servants. His guard come up to him and followed like a silent shadow.

Kyo caught one of the servant girls looking at him and shrugged quickly going to the kings side. "Is there anything else planned today your magesty?" He asked. The king looked back at him and nodded. "I need to go out for fresh air."

Ariana smiled as the king dismissed everyone and she took off to the gardens. At least she could take a walk while she waited until she was summoned again. She went to her favorite spot. She sat down amongst the queens rose bushes. She inhaled the sweet smell letting out a small smile. It was so wonderful here.

The queen walked up to her husband and gave him a hug and a kiss. "Dearest do try to behave yourself." She went to her room. She was tired of watching her husband pay attention to everyone but her.

Cal watched her go with a slightly heavy heart. He still carred about her but she was boring him. He turned and walked out the door heading for the stables were he mounted a jet black horse.

Kyo followed his king and mounted a gray horse following the king out into the town.

The queen yelled out. "Ariana go to town and fetch me a mug of gin and some cookies." Bowing low Ariana said "Yes your majesty." She went to the royal money holder and got the money. She took off at a run. She soon saw the king and his guard Kyo. She slowed her pace so that she would not catch up with them but followed at a short distance. Hopefully they would not notice her.

The king and his guard rode through town greating the common folk and listening to there problems Suddenly the king felt someone behind them turnig he saw ariana walking in back of them smiling he went up to her. "What brings you out of the castle?"

Will his magesty talked kyo kept an eyver watchful eye out for someone who might want to kill the king. He turned also to face ariana but didn't go up to her he just smiled slightly and kept watch.

Ariana frowned. "The queen sent me to buy her a few items your majesty. I apologize. I know I am not supposed to leave the castle." She bowed down before him keeping her eyes low so as not to anger him. She should have made the queen send someone else out but she could not order her. Now she was going to get in trouble and the queen was to blame. She flitched shutting her eyes waiting for the beating or punishment.

Cal smiled softly and sighed. "Don't worry child i won't harm you I know how my wife can be." He dismounted and lifted her up. "She's always been jeolus of other girls."

Kyo watched in silence not really sure why he felt hate for the man he was sworn to protect.

Ariana looked at the king a moment. "I need to go fetch her items or she will be mad. If you need anything your majesty I will get what you desire also." She waited patiently to see if there was anything that he would send her for.

Cal shook her head. "I dont want anything thanks."

She bowed again and took off at a run. Time to finish her errands so the queen would not be mad. She got the few items desired rather quickly and then started home. She knew the queen would be mad at the fact it had taken her so long but it is not like she could change that.

Cal sighed and mounted his horse again. "Lets head home." Kyo nodded and moved his houre to a trot to keep next to the king.

Ariana made it back to the castle rather quickly and gave the queen her items. She smiled and bowed her way out of the room. She made it back to the entrance of the castle and started to clean various things to make herself look busy. She was actually tired and ready to take a nap.

Cal strolled into his room which he shared with a his wife and smiled at her. "Interesting items my dear"

Kyo walked the halls of the castle looking for anything out of the ordinary.

Adella looked up at her husband and smiled. "Yes just what I needed. Dearest I would like to send that servant girl Ariana away. She does not please me. Please sell her tommarrow." She gave him a sickly sweet smile.

Cal shook his head. "i didn't bring her into this household to be run arrend for you. She was for me and only me. I don't care if she displeases you really."

Adella frowned at her husband a moment. "Why do you insist on keeping the brat. She doesent even serve a purpose except to let you fantasize about her. Why dont you love me anymore?" She felt like she would cry. She did love her husband somewhat but that guard........nvm about the guard. "Why is she even here? Why can't you just have a male servant?"

Cal slapped her. "How dare you question me." He snarled standing over her. "Get out of this room now."

Adella stood up in shock holding her face and walked out of the room. "Just wait till you fall asleep. I am going to murder that girl." She yelled over her shoulder as she went to the room designated as hers.

Cal took a deep breath and found kyo. "Make sure the queen is watched. I need to go for a walk." Cal walked off looking for Ariana.

Ariana stayed in the parlour dusting the various knicknacks and book shelves. She was a very good cleaner and it kept her pretty busy most of the time. She hummed a little tune as she worked.

The queen sat down on her bed and pouted. She was so mad. Her husband no longer loved her and actually had nerve to hit her.
