Welcome to life as an undergraduate!...

Myself and >Carmel-Apple< are looking for a group of people to take part in our wonderful roleplay... Are you interested?

Dear Student,

I am delighted to inform you that you have been accepted into the University of Southern California. Here you will study as an undergraduate student for the next three to five years, and eventually earn your degree and go on to live a better life for it...

I would like to offer you the opportunity to travel to the University and spend a few days here, in which you will meet other students in your year and above. You will also have the opportunity to visit your living quarters. Some of you may also choose to visit the local fraternity and sorority houses. There you will decide if that is where you want to sleep, eat and live for the duration of your time here.

I sincerely hope you make the most of this opportunity, and I cannot wait to meet you in the coming fall; when you will start your new life as a student here.

Okay, so I guess you want to know what this is all about, right?

Well, for the next few years, you will be living, breathing and partying with the same group of people; you're fellow house mates. So, I would like to offer you a breif look into the varied selection of houses there are available. There is only one problem; this year, you will be sorted into stereotypes. I know, I know.. Evil right? Well, I think not. This way, you can be among people you relate to and understand, people you will get along with. If you choose to make friends with students from other fraternities, then so be it. But we here believe that this way is a better way.

And so, I present to you your choices:

For the Fraternities, the stereotypes are:

The Jocks
The Loners
and
The Stoner's

And for the Sororities, the stereotypes are:

The Flirts
The Nerds
and
The ‘Mysterious’ Types

To each house, there will be 3-5 people, but more can be added for popular interest.. However, I wont be adding any extra spaces if there are other houses with no people in them.

And so, with great pleasure, I give you;
The Rules

1. Follow Mene ToS please.
2. No god modding or anything of the sort will be accepted here. If complaints are made, I will warn the offender once and then ask them to leave the RP if it continues.
3. I am requesting a very specific amount of male/female characters, as I believe it is only fair and I do not want to end up with 100,000 girls and 3 boys.
4. You may puppet a maximum of three characters, if you feel you can handle it, but they are not allowed to all be the same gender or occupy the same house.
5. No killings please. Violence is allowed, simply becuase they are teenagers and you know what happens when teens get drunk...
6. I will tolerate absolutely no bullying. The occasional jibe at a different stereotype is acceptable, but there will be no outright cruel remarks about a certain stereotype. You never know who is on the other end of the computer.
7. Swearing, I will accept. As again, teens will be teens. But I will have no vulgar or crude remarks about a person's body type. For example, male to female crudeness. No thank you.
8. This follows on from the last rule, I think. Sex is a no no. Kissing, romance, love, flirting and other harmless playfulness is all fine, but I do not want to hear about what happens on the other side of the door when the 'do not disturb' sign goes up...
9. I am ruler of this RP, so I reserve the right to add or remove rules as I see fit. I also reserve the right to remove people if I believe they are breaking my rules! :)
10. When sending in a profile, please PM it to me. When sending it to me, please name it either 'sorority' or 'fraternity' depending on what gender your character is... This is so I know you read my rules!

I would prefer the images of your characters to be of human origin. But if you really must use manga/anime images, I would also appreciate it if they were realistic looking... In other words, green hair and red eyes is not acceptable. And also, remember the time that the teens are living in is modern day, not the future or way back in the past please :)

This is just a recruitment thread. There will be no actual RP'ing going on here. But feel free to discuss and if I feel we have enough interest either myself, or >Carmel-Apple< will post a link to the actual RP. I will also be adding a 'spoiler' section to allow for the profiles to be viewed on this part too... Check out your allies!
