::My Characters::

Name: Omar Johanssen
Age: 24
Sex: Yes please. (No really, he's a guy.)
Appearence:http://userserve-ak.last.fm/serve/_/...iguezLopez.jpg
http://mickak.files.wordpress.com/2008/11/omar.jpg
Basically.. tall, fro-licious, and a little less mexican than these pictures. He's the frontman for the band. Sings, plays a little bit of rhythm guitar.
Occupation: Sex, Drugs, and Rock & Roll, as he so much enjoys putting it. Really he's the Singer/backup guitar.
Personality: Omar is a firecracker. He draws in crowds naturally with his intense sense of style and loud, yet not obnoxious persona. He really enjoys using drugs and women, which as the frontman for a rising band in New York, is not difficult. However, recently Omar's been finding himself feeling a bit empty inside, and that could end up getting him in trouble, because it just makes him want to drink more and do more drugs and women.
Bio: Omar was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. As an only child, he was kind of lonely when he was young because he didn't make friends well. Instead of surrounding himself with friends, Omar delighted in singing. First he sang for his mother's church choir, and then for the choral ensembles at school. Slowly he became a performer, a racous, crazy guy with a hunger for anything and everything exciting. This is what led him to joining some rock and/or metal bands in his late teen years and partying with them every night. His fondness for marijuana, alcohol, LSD, blood and cocaine were discovered during these times, and this fondness stuck with him.
Blood? Yeah, he does blood, guys. And it FUCKS HIM UP. He discovered it one wild night with these rough girls, he got too into it and broke the skin, and all it took was a taste. And he loves it. The longest Omar'd ever spent with one girl, about three months, was because she had the sweetest, most high giving blood he'd ever tasted. Visually, it enhances everything, makes him stronger, gives him a sexual potency that not even Hugh Heffner could ever dream of. Ha haaaaa. And out of all things, it doesn't put any damper on his performance. It just supercharges him. The withdrawals are a bitch though.
A couple of years back, he got this idea. All of a sudden he dropped all of his acts and decided to start a new band himself, called The Euphorics. He held the auditions and selected the perfect troupe. And now, you have the Euphorics, rising to extreme popularity among the New York club and music scene.

&&

Name: Marya Waters
Age: 21
Sex: female
Appearance: http://www.easy-hairstyles.com/image...curly-hair.jpg - somewhat like this. Not too tall (5'4"?) Relatively thin, longish legs. Dresses really trendily in cute dresses and leggings and whatnot. Always fair and done up either from her ritzy job for her night on the town.
Bio: Grew up in upstate new york, moved to the Bronx when she turned 18. Now she's slumming it in a neighborhood in Brooklyn, working at a spiffy restaurant to pay for her Hipster clothes and night time fun.
Personality: Live it up, because you only get one chance to make a mark on this planet. While she's really intense and fun loving, Marya can also be elegant, composed, and serene if necessary.

Name: Delilah (Del or Deli although she despises the latter) Henderson
age:Twenty-two
gender: Female obviously
brief personality: Del is a loud outspoken girl who doesn't hesitate to voice her opinion-a skill she thinks most girls her age should have.Seriously who cares if the guy you happen to like is right in front of you? That's no reason for a usually smart confident girl to do a complete 180 with her personality just so she'll fit that guys image of the perfect girl! Oh what's that? Oops..Sorry! Del has a bit of a tendency to rant or ramble on about certain subjects. Now back to her personality..ok so we've got outspoken and fun loving..oh how about music loving? Was that mentioned? Well there we go it was mentioned now! So that's Del's personality in a nutshell!
occupation/relation to band: Adoring fan
appearance:
brief bio: Del grew up in a house hold with two older siblings. Predictably those said siblings were brothers. So growing up Del had to put up with a bunch of crap about being a girl. So this is how her child hood went. Cuddle with older brothers and then verbally beat the crap out of old brothers. What can I say? Del's mom was a very feminist type of woman. She didn't believe that a woman should always have to play the damsel in distress and she made sure to instill the same beliefs in her younger daughter. Sadly though it was easier to do when Del was little-before learned of the gift of gab. But hey at least the kid learned some valuable life lessons right? The main one being don't let men push you around! So in short Deli's child hood focused on making her wanting to push guys away. Something her dad approved of. And could you blame him? This was his one and only darling baby girl! he didn't want some dumb teenaged boy coming in and trying to sweep her off her feet!

Now mind you those were the childhood years and the early and late teen age years. Now Del's all grown up and all both of her parents want is for some guy to sweep her off her feet. Why? Well first of all it'd keep her out of trouble. And second..well come on! They want to see one of their kids have children before their old age completely consumes their life. So in their spare time between trying to play match makers for their older sons they do the same for Del. Only in Del's case its much worse. She's the youngest meaning they're more concerned about her. And how could they not be concerned about her? She lives in her own apartment in the shadiest part of the city and she spends all her time traipsing about night clubs in search of the perfect band. Where oh where did they go wrong with their baby girl?!
--------------------------------------------------
Name:Riley Kingston
age:1,000 or older..He doesn't keep track of it! (looks about twenty-five though)
gender:Male! (He doesn't look anything like a girl!XD)
brief personality:Loud, outspoken, music loving. Despite how long he's been around Riley doesn't believe in acting his age. Can you see just how boring he'd be if he acted his age? He'd literally be an old man stuck inside a young adults body.
occupation/relation to band: Plays the guitar and also helps in backup singing from time to time
appearance:
brief bio:Brief? Uhhh..yea. He's old. There's no brief life story. He's been around a while. He lived through the medieval ages, he survived the roaring 1930's...He's old! Although he certainly doesn't look it.

"Shnnnnnnnnffff!"

"Ahhh..."

Leaning back into his oversized, velvet covered hair, Omar lit a clove cigarette and brushed some white powder from his nose. He was supercharged, flying, even though he was just relaxing in a chair. He needed to be ready for tonight. The Euphorics were performing, and this was a big deal. Not that they weren't already a big fucking deal, you know. But tonight, they were going on stage in front of an audience that will somewhere contain two of the most revered record company's producers. Epic and Heavy Times records were sort of, competing for The Euphorics, and tonight was the night to impress. This break would mean shit like Agents, bigger tours, and seriously real deals. Puts a lot of stress on a guy like Omar. This night, one of the companies would for sure make their move.

But tonight, with the things he was doing, would go well. He could feel the music surging inside of him, he was ready to perform later, like he'd never done before. Omar picked himself up and strutted to the fridge, retrieving a vial of deep red liquid. Unscrewing the lid, he tipped it up to his mouth and let the contents slide down his throat. Omar licked his lips and smiled, for in a little while he'd be past flying. On stage there would be nothing that could stop him. The crowd would be a roaring fire, sizzling and popping with the heat of his music, and the women would be begging for him. Oh, after the show he wished he could have them all, but no.. He'd be choosing one lucky broad to bring back to his little condo.

Omar slipped on his stylish leather jacket and ran a pick through his fro. A quick reply to a text messege from Marissa, their bassist, preceded him grabbing his cigarettes and walking out the door. The drive to Station 64, the venue they were playing at, would be long and boring.. To a sober guy.. Ha ha ha, he thought.
~~

Marya's shift was almost over, and time was ticking by ever so slowly. It was slow at such a nice restaurant early in the evening. Rich people seemed to enjoy eating later. She spent her downtime daydreaming about tonight. Her favorite band, The Euphorics, were doing a hugely awesome show and she and her friend had tickets to it. FRONT ROW TICKETS! Oh, she was so excited.. She was determined to get back stage this time, she'd seen them before but god, so many girls bombard them that she never got through. All Marya wanted to do was party with her favorite band.. Was that reaaallly too much to ask for?

While lost in thought, Marya nearly spilled a whole tray of tomato bisque on a trio of prudish looking elderly women. "Scuse me, maams,!" She squeaked, hurrying along to take it to another table. After she dropped off the soup, she snuck a text messege to her friend, Delilah.

"Soooo Xcited for 2nite! Meet me at Shooter's 4 a drink b4 tha show!"

Riley Kingston's hazel hued eyes darkened softly as he took in his surroundings. Unlike most members of his band=The Euphorics- he wasn't a fan of being fashionably late. What could he say in his long life he'd always thought it rude to leave others waiting and even after all the centuries he'd roamed this earth he still believed it to be true. If you were to get a group of overly excited people amped up over something as simple as a group of people playing music then the least you could do was show up on time. But that was just him.

And yet despite the rest of his band mates permanent tardiness and his slight annoyance towards them it all worked to his advantage. Without them here he could scope out the crowd, pick his target for the evening and set his plan to fulfill his thirst. After the concert of course-providing he had enough energy. It'd been a while since he'd drank. It wasn't laziness or a lack of his need to drink. He'd just been busy-which wasn't surprising considering how hopped up Omar had been. He rolled his eyes slightly as he allowed his thoughts to settle on the leader of their little troupe. How was it possible that he even stayed healthy? What with all the crap he snorted, injected and poured into his body it was a wonder he wasn't dead yet. But he didn't just do the ordinary things like coke and what ever else was in the drug markets today-Omar did blood too. Riley's upper lip curled softly giving a soft flash of fang as he shifted his position to a more comfortable one as he proceeded to lean against the wall. He drank blood-not because he had to but because it gave him some type of high. It was disgusting! Humans weren't meant to drink blood they were just meant to provide it. And what the heck possessed him to try refrigerated blood? Riley shuddered in obvious revulsion at the thought. Cold..bland..flat. Unnatural. Sure he didn't have room to talk but he didn't drink blood for recreational uses he did it because of his need to survive...and ok so maybe he did get a small thrill of the high that came with it. But that was just an added perk to being a vampire. Although it wasn't the only one he could think of...His favorite one was the eternal youth. How could you not be a fan of that one? It wasn't just a perk it was an essential part of his survival! If he looked as old as he was supposed there was no way that he'd be able to get the one thing he needed to survive...

And speaking of survival..his head lifted up as a small spritely blond walked by. It was so much the girls tiny figure or the tumble of blond curls sweeping down past her shoulders. It was her smell. Soft..sweet.. and utter delectable. He licked his lips softly in anticipation before pushed away from his spot on the wall. He'd found his pre-show snack. Yes he needed a snack before the show. After all how could be a part of a band called the Euphorics if his mood was the exact antithesis of what he was feeling at the moment. Although he didn't feel unhappy or anything. He just felt extremely hungry or maybe thirsty was a better word for it.

So with little else to but wait for his band mates Riley set off in chase of his pre-show snack both his eyes and his body following his prey...

----------------------
One more minute...tick...tick...tock..tick.....FINALLY!!!! Deli bit back an over joyous shout as her shift at work ended. Don't get her wrong-Del loved her job. Really. How could she not adore standing behind a counter for 30 something hours a week while she conversed with the most random people about the one thing she loved most? So yes she loved her job. It was just when she got down to it real live performances were so much better than shelf upon shelf of cds. At least in her opinion they were, Especially if it was a band as awesome as the Euphoric. Especially one with a lead singer as cute as Omar Johanssen...

Grinning happily Deli all but bounced her way back into the employees lobby where she could clock out and gather belongings. Once she'd clocked out Deli gathered her belongings and prepared to leave only to be stopped by a chirp from her cellphone. Stepping outside Deli paused long enough to take a deep breath of freedom before she texted her friend-Marya- back.

"Alright. See ya later then. Until then I'm going home to get ready....squeeee!! We're going to see the Euphorics! I get to see Omar Johanssen up close and personal...YAY!!!!"

Marya's shift ended and she was out the door before her boss could even tell her to go home. She had to jet back to the apartment and get ready, real sexy fine, for this show. She would have to be the best looking girl in the crowd to get to party with The Euphorics. As she got in the house, her work outfit immediately began to come off, clothes flying. She darted back to her room and began digging through the closet.

About half an hour later, Marya stood making sure her makeup was perfect in her full length mirror. She was wearing super tight, gorgrous sparkling black leggings and a sinfully short, low cut, off the shoulder red minidress. She accented it with black hoop earings, a red bow adorning her bouncy curls, and strappy red stilletos. Her normal big purse would be replaced with a compact little black clutch with this great wrist band that kept it secure to her while she was thrashing around in crowds.

She slipped her ID, a couple of pills of extasy, her ticket, and eighty bucks into the clutch, popped her birth control pill, and ate a few pieces of pineapple before grabbing her keys and running out the door. After driving the few miles to Shooter's Pub, she strolled in and took a seat at the bar and ordered some fries and a beer for her wait for Deli.

~

Omar pulled up to Station 64's VIP parking and dropped his car off with the valet, or whatever you'd consider that shabby parking guy. He wasn't quite spiffy or well paid looking enough to be a valet. His mind was blazing by now, colors everywhere. It was awesome.. Life glittered and boomed in explosive color manageries, whirling and flying and floating on air. Most people couldntmanage a coherent thought in this sort of state, but this was when Omar was at his prime. He entered the venue through the back door and slipped into a restroom to snort a few more lines, inject himself wiith a vial of blood, and smoke a few cigarettes to ease the jitters before he crept out and into the band's sound check room.

"Howdy," he said to Marissa, flopping down on a sofa and twisting off the top of a vodka bottle. She nodded to him, and continued to gab away on her cellular. He looked around and wondred where Riley was.. he was usually the first one here. What an odd occurance.. but what isn't odd when you're this fucked up, he thought, draining a third of the liter of vodka. He also nodded to the drummer, who was zoned out on the beat the was tapping into some virtual drums.

By the time Del reached her apartment the small slender girl was buzzing with excitement as she went through the usual struggled to unlock her door. The darned was both a blessing and a curse It kept the bad things out...but it also kept her stuck inside. Which was bad if her tiny apartment ever got caught on fire. but hopefully that would never ever happen. Now back to to the task at hand. What was she going to wear...Frowning softly Del shook her thick raven hued locks out of their usual constraining ponytail as she walked towards her bathroom to take a quick shower. Hmm she had just gotten this cute cherry red top on sale last week...but she didn't want cute. She wanted hot! Hmm..in that case..

By the time Del had finished her shower she had the perfect outfit in mind. Sparkles! Well not just sparkles but what could be prettier than a sparkly dress? Grinning the small 5'3" girl bounced into her room to pull out the cheery red dress. Once she'd finished dressing she gave the black lacy like material near the hem of the dress a soft fluff as she spun in front of her mirror. Mmm perfect! it was cute but at the same time it hinted at hot with amount of skin she showed. Clapping her hands in childlike joy she rooted through her closet until she found a pair of cherry red heels to match her dress. Once she'd slipped her dainty feet into the heels she tottered about her room to get the fel of the shoes. Tonight was one of those rare occasions that she'd decided to wear heels. Normally she was pretty content with her shortness. but tonight she was going to see the euphorics. She didn't just want to see them-she wanted to party with them. And she just couldn't see them partying with a 5'3" twenty-two year old. They'd want sometime who was a little bit taller. Someone whose personality sparkled..or better yet someone who literally sparkled...

Grinning Del ran to her bathroom to finish getting ready. by the time she'd finished getting ready her pale ivory hued skin was softly dusted in sparkly body power and her usually wild unruly hair had been tamed enough that she'd deemed it safe to let the thick locks cascade down around her shoulders. After giving herself one last cursory look she deemed herself ready and headed for the door tucking everything she'd needed for a night out on the town with Marya into her purse and left letting loose a soft string of expletives as she had the usual fight with her door. And then finally she was one her way! The short walk to Shooters Pub only left her slightly winded-hey she'd walked in heels! It wasn't easy to make your way through the evening crowd in something you usually only wore for special occasions! Stepping into the bar she brightened noticeable as she noticed her friend and bounced over to the other girl cheerfully plopping herself onto a nearby seat and reaching out to swipe a french fry. After munching on the stolen greasy snack she began bouncing her seat as she chattered away. Normally she wasn't the hyper type but tonight..well tonight she was feeling particularly energetic."C'mon! Hurry up! Lets go! We can get something better later. Lets go see the Euphorics! I've been waiting alllll daaay! You can't expect me to wait any longer!"
-----------

Smiling in contentment, Riley gave his targets neck a soft kiss before he pulled away flashing the dazed and hypnotized girl a dazzling smile. She'd wake up on her in a few moments and she'd remember nothing. See that was the good thing about feeding. He barely had to do any work. All he did was pick the target, chase them down and feed and then..well the rest just followed through. How? He had no clue. Even after all these years he was no closer to figuring it out. As far as he could figure his fangs had some type of sedative that could wipe his meals memory. Or maybe it was the over active human mind scrambling to find a reason-a realistic one for what had just happened. He didn't know. All he knew was that he wasn't thirsty anymore and show time was drawing ever nearer. Pulling away from his snack he gave her a gentle push back in the direction of the other club goers before he made his way backstage to meet up with his band.

As he drew closer to them his nose wrinkled in obvious disdain. Uhh there was that usual god awful smell of refrigerated and copious amounts of drugs mixed together in ones bloodstream. Obviously Omar was present and as high as a kite. Sheesh. Could the man not make i through one show without popping a handful of pills? And really refrigerated blood...bleh just bleh. He wanted to be a vampire so badly then maybe he could actually trying drinking it right from the source. But to each his own. "Good evening everyone." he said flashing a warm charming smile in Marissa's direction before he looked at Omar watching as he guzzled the vodka. "Do you plan on sharing some of that?" he asked before reaching forward and snagging the bottle from him with an impish grin. One thing he'd learned over the years was you never messed with another mans booze. Clearly he was breaking that rule right now but ooo how could he resist? He was full of blood and he felt more than capable of causing some trouble tonight. Smirking he pressed the bottle to his lips and knocked back a helathy swallow of vodka before he passed the bottle back as the liquid burned down his throat. Good..not as good as blood but still pretty dang good. "Have you decided whats songs we're going to through tonight? Or are we flying by the seat of pants as usual?" he asked with one brow arched curiously.

Omar let out a goofy laugh as Riley snatched the bottle. "Brother you know I can't say no to you, this thing, this band here, it connects us. Like a family." He laughed again and took another long drink when handed back the bottle. Omar.. he was always so odd, so contemplative, so silly when he was intoxicated, which was nearly all the time now. He loved it though, his words managed to twist themselves into lyrical genius on a regular basis these days.. and as much as it was fufilling his artistic passions, he even more enjoyed the money it had begun making him.

"Yeah, uh.." He went blank for a second, looking through Riley as he thought. "Well, we"ll play 'True Euphoria' first, and maybe 'Bite it' after that.. But aside from those, tonight we should go with what we feel, what the crowd feels, what the whole club feels, you know?" The blood was really setting in now. He could feel it coursing through him, see the vibrancy and true colors of everything around him. It was fucking wild, bro.

Omar stretched, and then set the bottle on the long glass table in front of him, standing up and taking a commanding sort of pose. This was a regular thing, his little talk before really important or huge shows. It was sort of, a pep talks, to rally them into a really positive air, supercharge them for the ultimate performance.

"Guys," He addressed his bandmates. "Tonight is the night. THE NIGHT." Omar emphasized the words heavily, very serious. "We really need to blow out there, like melt some fucking faces. We are THE BEST in the business right now, and we will be forever more because we have the sound, we have the feeling, and we have the attitude that sparks flavor and inspiration to the masses." His eyes may have been glassy, but his words were clear and true.
~
"Deli!" Marya chimed as her friend plopped down beside her. "Just give me a minute to finish, okay? I'm so excited too! This is going to be the best night ever girl!" She made a point to munch down a few more fries quickly, and drain the last of her beer. Station 64 was pretty close and they had pleanty of time to get there, but she was also extremely excited for the concert. Riley Kingston was the best guitarist in the world in her eyes, and also the hottest and oh my god, he was just amazing. You could consider her just a tiny bit obsessed.

Popping up off the stool, Marya grabbed her little clutch. "I'll be back in a second I gotta run to the bathroom." She said and winked. "If you want some E Come with mee.." she whispered to Del and bounced off to the ladies room. It was deserted, as the bar was pretty empty. She was pretty sure there weren't even any more girls in the bar aside from her and Del. So, she popped open her little clutch and took out the two extasy pills. She placed them on the counter and crushed them into a fine powder, spitting it into two long lines. She also took out a twenty dollar bill and rolled it into a straw. "Mmm, X." She chuckled and placed the twenty to her nose, the other end at one end of a line, and inhaled it into her nose. Marya coughed a few times and wiped off her nose.

It took everything Riley had in him not to let his upper lip curl at the endearing term Omar used. brother? Yea..no.Unlike most people he was content to be with out siblings. He had no drama to deal with..well not a lot of drama. He was in a band for Pete's sake it was more or less impossible to avoid drama in that aspect. He rolled his eyes slightly at the comparison of their band being a so called family. Yea..they were going to have to agree to disagree on that one. Then again wasn't hat how pretty much everything worked with them? Don't get him wrong he liked his band mates but that was it. he didn't like them enough to consider them family though. He'd had a family at one point. And to be perfectly honest he hadn't enjoyed it. Then again he'd been alive -errr maybe human was a better word for it- in different times. The goings on between family members had been stiffer. And now seeing as of he'd been cut loose from him family for a good many years now he felt no compulsion to try it again. he was perfectly content on his own. he didn't have to worry about anyone else. All he had to worry about was himself. And his blood donors. but that was it. Nice and simple.

He leaned forward in his seat his hazel eyes fastened on their leader as he explained the layout for tonight's performance. His lips curled up in a grin of amusement at the mention of his favorite song, "Bite it". Heh a little late for that one. He'd already bitten it. Although as of to whether the song was talking about biting the dust or biting someone well that still remained a mystery to him. Although if you thought about it the lyrics could be taken either way. In either case Riley had already done both of those. So maybe that was he felt a particular kinship to the song.

he was brought of his amused thoughts by the sight of Omar taking his usual pose. Ah..right on schedule. Next up the pep talk! Well he'd give Omar one thing-he might be predictable in the order he did things but he never said the same thing twice. So at least he kept his listeners on edge. At the end of his little speech Riley stood up applauding politely before he spoke. "Well said, well said. Now how about go and blow them away?" he asked with a soft lilt of his head a few stray strands of his bright red hair falling forward before he brushed them out of his face.
-------
Del winced slightly hearing the annoying nickname. Deli-she wasn't a deli! She didn't even venture into them often. It was so much easier just to say Del but then again there were some people who thought otherwise. Like Marya. Oh well. There were just some battles you couldn't win. Del made a soft sound of amusement and agreement as she looked around the bar. Huh Shooters wasn't usually this empty. Then again Station 64 wasn't far away and if the turnout for The Euphorics was as big as she though tit was going to be then it made perfect sense. Aww man..she was going to be swamped by tall people! Just how the heck was she going to achieve her goal of stealing Omar Johanssen away from the crowd if she was being blocked by tall people? Huffing soft in aggravation she looked down at her heels suddenly regretting the fact that she hadn't grabbed a pair that gave her more of a height increase. Dang it..

She blinked owlishly for a moment hearing her friends whisper. Her nose wrinkled slightly. Ugh..yea. That wasn't exactly her thing. Actually drugs weren't her thing either. Drinking? Heck yea? Smoking a cigarette occasionally? Sure. But popping pills? Yea...not her thing. But it was Marya's thing. And she was her best friend. And best friends didn't harp on each others choices. They just went along with it. So Del did what any friend would do. She bounced up off her stool all but trotting to keep up with her friend. "Now that you mention I should probably use the bathroom here.." she murmured slipping into the ladies room behind Marya and making her way to the nearest stall. She really didn't have to go that badly but she wasn't so sure she could watch Marya do it. It just seemed wrong somehow-like she was watching something she wasn't supposed to. So once she heard the tell tale cough signaling she was done Del finished up and came back out to wash her hands. Once that was done she bouncing next to her friend in childlike excitement before she reached out to grab Marya's hand and pulled. "Come on! Lets go! I want to get there before the rest of the crowd does. I won't stand a chance of getting to see Omar Johanssen if I'm surrounded by tall people...and if we get there early enough we might be able to see them before they go on stage.." she hedged softly knowing the chances of that actually happening were pretty much nonexistent.

Omar grinned at Riley and nodded, but then went to the long mirror at the side of the room and eyed himself up for a minute. What a majestic, powerful, amazing fantastic kick ass bad ass motherfucker.. That was the blood thinking for him, but really.. He threaded his hands up through his fro, fluffing it out a little bit. The dark wooly fluff bounced as he shook it out, wiggling his whole body around to get himself ready. Omar knew he looked silly.. But Omar didn't care. Maybe he WAS silly, huh?

"Let us, friend." Omar rumbled out to Riley in a bassy voice. As he turned and walked across the room to the big backstage door, the tall, lanky vocalist began to warm up those "crazy awesome" (or so that's what the record company said) pipes of his for the show. "EEEEEEEEE Heeeeeee HEEEEEEEE Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" The sounds of Omar's voice rose and fell, rolling out of his lips. This is one of the things he loved about blood..He could SEE the waves of sound billowing from his lips, a really fascinating sight, to be honest with you.

Flinging open the door, Omar trotted through it and out to the backstage area. There were crew members all over the place, setting things up and making sure everything worked absolutely flawlessly for the show. Lighting guys were hanging from the ceiling, adjusting the levels and arrangements of the tiers of strobes, lasers, and other lovely colourful flashy things. As he walked out closer to the actual stage, their manager popped out of a corner, probably from talking to the house manager and whatnot. "Eyy, Crazer. You ready to get your face melted?" Archy Crazer, their manager, laughed and replied, "Kill 'em, guys. Tonight Epic and Heavy times have their best execs out there tonight.. We're about to hit it big." and with that, the man, clad in a business suit, disappeared into another area of the backstage.

Omar was ready. It was barely an hour before the show was set to begin, and give or take a few minutes, that's when everything would be ready. Stepping aside to a soundproof booth, Omar began to practice his vocals a bit, refining a few tones and pitches on some songs that put a lot of stress on his throat.

Marya let Del pull her out of the bathroom, and then changed to leading the way out to the car. " Alright, alright!" She laughed, the X beginning to hit her. She loved snorting stuff.. When you popped pills, you had to wait maybe even more than an hour to really feel the effects of something, but when you inhaled it through your nose, man.. It's almost instant, and so much stronger. As they hopped into her car, which would probably be some piece of junk, had her grandfather not given her his old corvair, she started her up and cranked up the tunes. The first song on the CD she had in, The Euphorics' first album, was "Bite it" their top hit.

The Euphorics' music was so wonderful.. It fit any situation, but especially one like this. They were flying down the highway, excited for this concert and loving life.. It was fantastic! The anticipation was incredible! The sun was beginning to set, a lovely glow settling over the city, it was beautiful like this, the way all of the shadows fell before the street lights started to blare at sundown. Marya lit up, smiling wildly as she spotted Station 64 looming over the city block ahead of them, and slowed down, pulling towards the parking ramp beside the venue. The valet was standing at the gate to the structure, waiting for them, and she tossed him her keys. The kid looked familiar.. Possibly a classmate in high school? Psh, she didn't know, or care that much. Hopping out of the car, she left her door open for the kid to hop in and drive the car off to the ramp, and headed for the door of the venue. "oooh, Del! This is going to be the best night of our lives, girl! I am SO READY!"

Riley couldn't hide his evident amusement as Omar's long lanky legs carried him towards a mirror set up off to the side and the other checked himself out. He let out a low chuckle of humor as the other wriggled in obvious delight. At what? Riley had no clue but what ever the case the obvious display of affection-or some other weird emotion Omar was currently having towards himself- was pretty dang amusing. Arching one brow Riley continued to watch the other psych himself up. "So are you ready to go now? " he asked with faint smirk.

Once Omar had deemed himself ready, Riley stayed silent as he followed Omar and his other band mates backstage. It was business as usual backstage, with the lighting technicians scurrying about over head and the other members of the backstage screw hustling about as showtime slowly crept closer and closer. Just a few more minutes and then they could kick things into gear. He didn't want to wait anymore-he'd had enough of waiting and watching to last him a life time. Or to be more accurate not just one life but many more. In short he didn't want to spend anymore time waiting.

Hearing Crazer's brief pep talk about killing the audience Riley shook his head softly. "I dunno about you dude but I think it'd be more fun to bite em." he deadpanned. Yea..it was a weak joke but it was still a joke all the same. The only catch, was that he wasn't joking. He wasn't one of those vampires who was solely focused on his next feeding. He was one of the ones that only focused on it when he really had to. Like before and after his shows. Yea who ever said certain things get easier over time was wrong. Handling his thirst hadn't gotten any easier as he'd gotten older. If anything it'd gotten harder. it was like he could never drink his fill!

Biting back a groan, Riley shook his head to dispose of any lingering thoughts of blood. He'd drank before the show. He didn't anymore, even if his hunger(err thirst?) pangs said otherwise. Sighing softly he ran his tongue over his fangs in an attempt to take off some of their sharpness. To keep himself from being distracted further he started doing his warm ups. 'Just a few minutes until show time..' he thought as his long slim fingers picked at the strings of his guitar.

Once they were on the road with their tunes blaring, Del was swept in not just her own excitement but Marya's as well. "Oh my gosh! I can't believe we're going to see the Euphorics!" Del crowed as her tiny figure trembled with excitement. During the ride over she more or less kept repeating herself but she really couldn't believe it! In no time at all, it seemed like they were pulling up in front of Station 64 and passing Marya's car off to the valet.

As she breezed into the venue with Marya at her side Del finally settled down. Well not to the point where she was lethargic mind you, but to the point where her hands weren't shaking like someone with a case of the withdrawals. Shooting a bright smile at her friend she let out a girlish squeal as she lunged at Marya and wrapped her friend in a brief hug. "Thank you so much! If you hadn't won the tickets on that radio contest then wouldn't be here! But we're here and tonight we're going to see the Euphorics!!!" she bubbled over happily as she tugged eagerly on her friends hand and pulling her in the direction of the stage.
