Does anyone reading this post enjoy the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan?

I really like this series and others made by Rick Riordan.

What a coincidence! I just finished reading the first two books in this series. It's not my favorite or anything, but I still enjoyed it and I'll be continuing to read it. 8D I do think that the author spins a good story.

It's a really fun series! It's not what I'd call a masterpiece, but it's very enjoyable, and I love the characters. And this reminds me that I should check out when the next book of the sequel series is due to be releases. <.<

Yea its a fun book, only read the first one. Movie of it was horrible, I was so angry when I saw it! As usual books are always better :) I haven't picked up on the series lately, I may come around back to it soon.

I freaking adore the series and The Heroes of Olympus. I also love the Kane Chronicles and am so sad that the series is ending with the third book coming out in the spring. I wonder what he'll write after The Heroes of Olympus is finished.

I want to read those so bad. I've seen the movie but I haven't been able to get a hold of the books.

The book is so much better then the movie. The movie just sucked. If you aren't looking to own you could always check them out of your local library. If you are looking to own them they are available on Amazon.

Love those books in their entirety. Read all of them two or three times each and I read the two books in his newest series, Heros of Olympus. Can't wait for the third one with those books :D

DUDE! Next to Tamora Pierce and LJane Smith, Rick Riordan is my favorite author. :D I gotta say though. The Percy series is excellent but so is the Red Pyramid series. I'm not sure which one of them I like best. xD I may just have to let it be a tie. Have you read Son of Neptune yet? Man, his plot lines kill me sometimes. @_@ Legit.

Who's your favorite Percy Jackson character?

Mine is Luke, he's just too much awesome-sauce in one book. :D Whenever he showed up I always got more into the scene. His character is by far one of the most interesting in the series. Which is saying a lot since there are so many interesting and amazing characters in this series. I hope we'll see more of him one day.

Rick Riordan is an all around impressive author. :D I haven't read Son of Neptune yet, but I loved his new style for chapters in The Lost Hero. Giving each character chapters from their point of view was great, and it really helped me connect with the other characters as well. I would very much like to get a hold of the Kane Chronicles, but I'm not sure if my library has them or not. :\

I feel silly reading it at my age, but I sure do love the series! Mythology has always been one of my top favorite things and seeing it come to life in the modern, current realm makes me so freakin' happy. I've finished the original series and I really want to start reading the Riordan's Egyptian god series and the Heroes of Olympus series. But, of course, being the lazy, unmotivated sloth that I am, I have not yet bothered to begin, eheh.
