Oh, hi.

I keep thinking that I used to have a Menewsha account, but when I tried to retrieve my password I learned my e-mail isn't registered here. XD; I felt...kind of slow.

Anyways...

I'm Darling~ It's nice to meet you, and I hope we can be friends.

I'm twenty-one, and I currently live in Central Texas. I have a loving husband and am expecting a baby soon. ♥ (Like, within the week! My due date was July 2nd.)

Drawing has recently become a very addictive hobby of mine, but I am not terribly talented. I think I may draw some freebies for practice, however. > w < Everyone loves freebies, right!? 8D;

Have questions? Please ask!

I hope we can be friends. : 3

Love the name for the baby, it's very cute.

Do you have any examples of your art you can show off?

I have a deviantART account that has some of my work. 83 Feel free to browse it~ I've only been drawing since Feb. of this year, so my style and technique is constantly changing. I'm hoping that I'll one day be able to draw anything [well]~ 8D

My name used to be Flink Pamingo, but I got tired of being called Pam. Besides, no one got the joke. :(

EEE! Dinosaurs! Makes me think of being Flinkzilla again!

V 3V I'm afraid I don't get the joke, either.
But Flink Pamingo is also a pretty awesome username.

8D My husband loves dinosaurs! ...me, not so much. LOL. That was...like...the most frustrating thing I've ever drawn. XD

Twenty one? Pretty young to be having a kid, isn't it? Although, I shouldn't really be talking. One of my oldest friends was fourteen when she had her daughter XD

Oh and welcome to the site ^^

After the age of eighteen, I don't think that age should be a factor in deciding if someone should be having children or not. The maturity level of the individual is far more important in my mind. People in their thirties shouldn't even be having children because they're nothing but giant babies.

Granted, I never wanted kids. So, this entire experience isn't something I planned for. But, you know, my husband and I are very excited to be bringing a baby boy into this world.

Thanks.

Someone in their thirties is a big baby? I don't understand. How does being over thirty make you a big baby? XD
Or did you mean to say 'someone in their teens' or something.
And maturity is a great factor in deciding whether to have children but most people in their early twenties tend to be very immature. I also believe that one should have a good and steady income before having a child and most in their early twenties don't. They're usualy in school or work at a grocery story or something along those lines.

I mean that a person in their thirties who isn't mature at all - a big baby, in other words - shouldn't be having children because they can't even take care of themselves. How do they expect to take care of a newborn?

While a majority of people in their late teens and early twenties are still learning how to grow up, that isn't that case for all of them. I would like to say that isn't the case for me and my husband, actually. So, while in terms of age some may believe that we are too young to be having children...we are very mature and very capable. I think that's all that should matter in the end.

Oh, I see. I get what you mean. My mom was thirty seven when she had me but it had nothing to do with maturity. My mom's always been a very mature person, strict but not too harsh. She just hadn't met the right person until she was in her thirties and she wanted to get her career going as well.

Drat, you don't like ramen.....oh well, everyone has their own preferences. :) Lol. I'm 21 like you Darling, but I don't have the patience and I know I don't have the money to have kids right now (I'm in school, very expensive!) ...so I'm not at the moment. Maybe someday, though. ^_^
